“Great prices, amazing food, kind staff. Best Chinese I’ve eaten out in a very long time. I had Szechuan Beef with egg fried rice, one of the most amazing meals I’ve had in ages. Couldn’t have higher praise.”

“The ambience of this place is perfect. It is located on the main road into Chesterfield Derby Rd, so it can not be missed. All the staff are very welcoming . There are four areas that you can dine in . We have now tried all four, and they are equally staffed and served at a high degree . Owners with dogs are encouraged to bring them along and dine at the extensive garden dining area lower to the main building . Here, you will find a large seating area covered with climbing wisteria. The main entrance to the building leads you to indoor dining and upstairs is the romantic dining area with the ceiling decorated in apple blossom perfect for that special or private function occasion. The exterior of the property has a wrap around balcony ideal for the smoking sector and pets. All the food is cooked to high standard, This establishment is perfect for business meetings and family gatherings or even a private ceremony. This is our favourite place we're we always bring visitors & family .”

“This place is a hidden gem that no one seems to know about so I'm sharing this secret with you all as I was so impressed with the food and service. I been here with my partner for a meal over Easter. it was lovley Two for a Tenner u can't go wrong here! You might think because of the cheap price tag you may get poor quality food however this is not the case here! The food is top quality at a very good price! We had hunters chicken and pie of the day (steak and mushroom.) The pie was packed with meat and flavour the chips were lovley it all came out very quickly and was hot and tasted great my partner loved the hunters chicken too. The drink selection was reasonable but its the food I will be coming back for. Overall a great visit that I will be repeating sometime soon.”

“Best bottomless in Chesterfield. Staff were great and quick service thanks to Rebecca, Ben and Lydia. Atmosphere was amazing with everyone having a lovely time and being merry for the festive period! Food was lovely, especially their freshly made pizzas. Definitely recommend!”

“My mother who lives in Dronfield suggested we try the Miners Arms as it has recently reopened after a refurbishment. The decor is gorgeous and the seating comfortable and inviting. Emma was our server. She was FANTASTIC! She greeted us immediately, took our drink order and provided us with menus. She was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make suggestions which was very helpful for my mother. She also asked the chef for a side order of the vegetables that went with another dish and that was very much appreciated. The food came quickly. It was piping hot and delicious. I would highly recommend this establishment and Emma is an asset to it and to the hospitality industry in which she has chosen to work!”

“Huck's Sherwood Forest provided a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and a cosy atmosphere. The menu had great variety, and each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. What really made our visit memorable was our server, Eve. She was attentive and friendly. Her excellent service made us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. If you're looking for great food and outstanding service, Huck's is definitely worth a visit!”

“I came in tonight for a meal with my dog and partner. The staff were so kind and welcoming as if we were regulars. The food was amazing and the owner was very friendly and offered our dogs treats. I would highly recommend this place for food/ service/ hospitality”

“Had a lovely Breakfast. Nice cosy interior and dog friendly. The service was excellent. Had a nice relaxing time. The cost was reasonable all in all very good value. Will definitely go again.”

“We had the 'Hassop' double room which was nice and big with a very large bed. The room was on the first floor overlooking the beer garden which was fine. Little to no noise from it at bed time. Didn't eat here but did have drinks in the bar on a couple of nights. The staff were efficient and friendly. Free parking is a bonus.”

“Had a lovely birthday meal at the badger box. Staff was really friendly. Was helped to my seat by Charlotte. I’m not good on my feet. So was helped with my order from the bar. . The food was delicious and really hot. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Wasn’t that busy so they made it feel extra special. I’m sure on busier times this would have been hard. But all the same I will be visiting again soon. Has the whole day was made extra special by the staff. A thank you to Charlotte and all the team.”

“Lovely staff, extremely yummy vegan food. I recommend making a trip on Tuesday when they have a 50% discount on burgers. Try their hummus, sweet potato chips, and Up-beet burger with a vegan ice-cream. It's really good. Similarly, if you plan a dinner date before watching a film at Vue Cinema, they will give you a 30% discount if you show them your tickets. If that's for you, then go ahead. “Came in tonight with a friend and my 19 year old who has autism and learning disabilities for post match drinks after the Sheffield Eagles game. The staff were more then welcoming. My son 19 but due to a medical condition looks about 12 so a bouncer came while we were sat and asked him for ID which mt son had. I explained to the bouncer he had autism. He checked my sons ID and was happy but did it in such a kind way so as to not make my son feel he'd done something wrong. My son also plays learning disabilities rugby for Sheffield Eagles and some of the players are thinking of a night out and I've already recommended this place as somewhere with good drinks, pool and friendly accepting staff.”
