“Used this store several times recently and never had an issue at all. Ordered some walking boots for my wife via click and collect option and called to collect them. Heidi was working the footwear section and could not have been more helpful. Had plenty of boots over the years but Heidi made sure that they were the proper fit even getting another size to try on and doing a proper fitting. Excellent, friendly service then Eleanor was serving on the till and, despite being busy with customers was polite and friendly with every single one. Top service.”

“I was shocked to see today (Sat 11 Jan 2025) the signs up saying the store was closing down today. Staff despite losing their jobs were pleasant and helpful and I wish everyone well on their future endeavours. A splendid shop with brands like rieker, clarks etc -also my late mother loved this shop for her shoes and the great service as she was partially sighted and staff very attentive to sizes/ correct fit etc”

“Well stocked River Island in Parkgate. Staff are absolutely fantastic friendly and helpful going in to the back to retrieve stock when most stores don't have such a thing! Good sales section too with plenty of bargains.”

“Went looking for a black shirt and suit. Staff are far more helpful and knowledgeable than at the larger one off the parkway in Sheffield. Sadly suit stocking at both was poor. Never got a suit as neither had a set suitable, very miss match sizing etc Did get a shirt! Thanks to Chesterfield Rd. The little things make the big differences, take a note Parkway store!”

“The team at Weldricks have gone above and beyond for me over the last 2 days. I’ve had a reaction to an insect bite and nipped in for some advice yesterday, the pharmacist looked at the area checked my blood pressure, temperature and heart rate and prescribed some antibiotics to fight off the infection. This was all within 10 mins as a walk in :) Today a separate issue has arose from the insect bite causing an allergic reaction due to my medical condition & another prescription was needed on an urgent basis, after calling to explain the situation Natalie had the prescription ready in no time. The staff at this pharmacy are always rushed off their feet, but like many times before still find time to help in more urgent matters. Thank you all Weldricks Scawthorpe x”
