“Sofia joined Stagecoach when she was 8 years old and found her tribe! The staff and the students are so supportive and friendly and have welcomed and encouraged Sofia to reach for the stars. The weekly lessons and holiday clubs give her a real insight into the world of musical theatre and acting, as well as making some wonderful friends. Sofia has been given opportunities to perform with the touring production of Joseph, audition for West End performances, perform in a whole school show at the Octagon and be involved in local events like the Christmas Lights switch on in Sheffield; she has also learnt so much from the professionals who deliver the technical workshops. Sofia absolutely loves being at Stagecoach and her confidence has soared since being there. Debbie and the team bring the absolute best in her and I'm so proud of what she is able to accomplish with their support. Thank you to Debbie, Sam, Rowan and James and all the other wonderful people who work alongside you - you are all amazing and I can’t wait to watch this year’s performances and hear all about the amazing time she spends with you all on a Saturday afternoon. “Had my first fitting at Run Forest - Run Shop last week I was so impressed! Such a positive experience. I was given a full debrief - information was taken about running history, injuries and running goals. I did some running about in the shop and on treadmill and Mike noticed issues with my current shoes and certain biomechanical blips. He got me to try out several pairs and landed on Merrell Agility 5 for trail and On Eclipse for road I wanted to wait until I’d tried out both before reviewing and can’t quite believe it. I’ve never been able to put on a trail shoe and do a long run right off the bat. 16 easy miles bashed out no problem, no blisters or rubbing, and I could run the hills easily (without heavy flat shoes weighing me down!), shaving 30s off my long run average pace. The Ons were light and springy and what was meant to be a recovery pace ended up being faster than normal because they just propelled me along! I’ll definitely be back for when these wear out. Mike really knows his shoes, so knowledgeable and ended up going with the first shoes he got me to try. Jess also gave me advice on some other kit. Such friendly and helpful people! I’m so happy, thank you so much Mike and Jess! Highly highly recommend!”

“I've been going to this studio for about 2 years now and having tried a lot (maybe 8?) I can easily say that OTG has been my favourite! And I liked the other studios! Every teacher has a unique skill set so you get a lot from trying out different classes e.g., Sarah is great at pinpointing what muscle you should be engaging and making your pole move portfolio well rounded, Gem is a detective when it comes to problem-solving a move you've been stuck on, Gemma offers a wealth of experience in choreo classes to improve your flow (I could go on...). They actively go out their way to make the studio inclusive and welcoming to all and are sx work positive. If you want pole to be more social then they hold 'open pole' nights, but if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself that's also respected. I also have to shout-out that as a 'nesh' person, they do the most to keep the studio warm in winter and they employ 'Daddy Cool' (the mega fan) to keep it cool in summer. Would recommend to anyone wanting to start or continue their pole dance journey!”
