Fast food in Southampton

“One of the better Chinese take outs in the area. Always busy on a weekend which is a good guide to the quality of the food. We opt to collect as delivery times are often quite long due to demand. Take out however is typically 30 minutes from order. We have found their predictions are normally spot on. The rice tastes nice and fresh, both egg fried and boiled. The chicken is always nice and soft with a decent amount of chicken in each dish. Similar with the beef. The duck in orange sauce is also a good shout.”

“I visited last night with my little boy to get him a personal pizza. And honestly I don’t think I ever saw such a hard working team, the team work was incredible, they were working so quickly and efficiently. Yet they had a laugh which is so important in a work place. “I had planned a day trip to Southampton and was researching for ages on where to get food, I was torn between herbies pizza and another Chinese takeaway, I’m glad I chose herbies! The pizza was only 9.99 for a large (a deal for collection) so my expectations weren’t super high but I was impressed! Personally I don’t like a super crunchy crust and their crust was soft with the perfect amount of crunch and tasted amazing! The pizza took around 15 mins to cook which is understandable as it’s cooked fresh. It wasn’t too greasy and came with a garlic and herb dip. The guy at the counter was lovely too. I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Southampton!”

“Absolutely love this Chinese takeaway in Totton—easily the best in the area! The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and arrives piping hot every time. Portions are generous and the menu has a great variety, from the classic favourites to some delicious house specials. The staff are friendly and service is quick. Highly recommend if you’re after consistently tasty Chinese food!”

“Lovely, clean and quiet little place to eat locally in Woolston. Definitely worth supporting the Small Business in this case as the visit was WELL WORTH IT. My daughter and I loved this visit and enjoyed fabulous food that was prepared in good time and brought to our table with a friendly smiley service. Recommend: Mango smoothie Cappuccino Omelettes with choice of fillings. Cheese, bacon and sausage was a real it. Definitely coming here again!! (4/5 stars only because they had an out of tuning radio station playing with more hiss than music, which became mildly irritating)”

“Saw a number of people on Reddit recommending this place as the best for pizza in Southampton so thought I’d give it a try. We had the Smokey’s Special and the Seafood pizza on the collection deal. Both were great with plenty of toppings and a delicious thin bade. We’ll definitely go back. Staff were friendly when I collected. Only slight problem was that it was difficult to find a nearby parking space.”

“Great food with amazing service. Every single staff member had a smile on their face. They were all very kind and helpful even recommending some items to try on the menu. All the food was perfect. The batter was lovely and crispy. The chips were hot and fresh. The curry sauce was lovely. And the fish cakes and pies were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Prices were cheap and the food was more than worth the value. Again the staff were super.”

“Wow! Iv ordered From here before but ordered the Bassit special meal this evening and whole family is very impressed . There is sooo much food! 2 medium pizzas, fluffy soft dough and they don’t skimp on the topping and tasted great. 2 medium kebabs great size and salad was fresh and you get loads, we haven’t even touched the box of chicken and chicken wing s yet or the garlic bread . Came with a bottle of Full fat coke which makes a nice change from the diet crap most takeeay places give you for free. It looks like we have a a new favourite takeaway . Thank you!”
