“Where do we start? Thank you, thankyou Zoe and the team for hosting our daughters wedding 27.6.25. Nothing was too much trouble.. everyone was so friendly, the pub was decorated to perfection in a relaxed country floral theme. The flowers decorating the venue were stunning. The food was plentiful, utterly delicious and presented beautifully. There were so many little personal touches that completed the day .The dj kept everyone on the dance floor and again nothing was too much trouble. The Windmill is a real gem..thankyou xx”

The gent was lovely, attentive without being overbearing, but also willing to pop in suggestions when asked. The best service that I've had in a long while.”

“To say the Sunday lunch was good would be an understatement. Plenty of meat, vegetables cooked the way I love them, oceans of gravy. The only issue was the impossible to open condiment sachets, but the very friendly staff sorted that out for me. Apple and blackberry crumble lovely. Will be coming back soon”

“Excellent customer service. Lovely ambience, nice non intrusive music. Went for lunch here. Waited a bit for our meal to be ready, however the drinks were so tasty we had a strawberry and lime one and another with coconut and pineapple - absolutely loved these mocktails. Had very good chat while we had our drinks and waited for the meals. Paella was tasty. Meals were well seasoned.”

“Fine dining is reflected with the chefs passion for ingredients and fresh produce. The two chefs are always competing to make each dish better every time. I recommend the scallops starter, as an example where each chef has tweaked the dish to get higher and higher praise each time it's served. Service is impeccable, which is what you would expect from a Maitre d'hotel from the armed forces, serving in the officer's mess. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, as today we live in a world of pub grub and a decline in fine dining experiences which should make you feel that you have had "a special meal"”

“Got there for teatime opening. Food was hot and plenty of variety to choose from. Good music playing good atmosphere. Staff were helpful and polite and the restaurant was clean and tidy. Food was hot and delicious. Well worth the money. Will not be the last time we come.”

“We had booked for a table on our walk, and we got there a bit early before opening, but tables outside to sit on. It started to fill pretty quickly, all the food we ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly no complaints from any of us and we were a group of 5. Even some drinks came quirky. “Best Indian food in stoke on trent!!!! Recommended by a family member previously, used to always drive past but never did I go in... however the past 18 months this has been my number one everytime. Yes you can pay a bit more than other places, but it's the perfection in the food and the quality!!! Whatever I ask for they do even if it's off the menu. Never had one bad meal and the staff are great. Even let me hire the room for a gender reveal me and my partner did to find out what sex our baby was going to be, and on a day they were shut. Don't be shy, give it a try !!!!!”
