“Stayed for two nights for a wedding. The girls that run this place are so friendly and nothing is too much for them. One of our friends didn’t make it back to the hotel for breakfast and they offered to keep a plate for her in case she was hungry which was so sweet of them to offer. Our room was very big, it is the basics but can commend them on the how clean and spacious they were and one of the few hotels that give you more than one hanger which was very handy! Breakfast is great, little shorter and earlier than I would prefer but the food quality makes it worth it. The girls are so friendly and so helpful with any questions. We will be back to visit our friends and certainly be staying here again!”
“I had a wonderful experience with the Leaders. Tina was super helpful and patient with me, providing clarification when I needed it. Definitely recommend!”
“Karen and Caroline have always been brilliant when assisting me with renting out my flat. Nothing is too much trouble and they are prompt, efficient and thorough with any queries or advice I may have. My flat has never been empty for long”
“I can't recommend Dale and Collins enough! They were the 4th Estate Agent we had around to value our house (we were originally only going to have 3 but after we saw that they had sold another on our street super quickly, we thought it was worth the call), and as soon as we met Jackie, we forgot all about the other 3! Jackie absolutely did us proud with our listing, and Charlotte really supported us through the whole sale process - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and would sell with them again without giving it a second thought! Thank you so much!”
“Andrew’s knowledge of the property market, including his vast expertise of properties themselves, made my decision to choose Keates to deal with the sale of my 1800’s property very easy. The process from inception through to completion was seamless and stress-free, with Andrew being on hand to answer any questions or to simply keep the communication lines open between the parties as we approached completion of the transaction. The advertisement of my property was beautifully presented, and the pictures represented the unique character of my first little home perfectly. Andrew had great appreciation for the time, effort and love that I had put into the property and this was reflected in his service and presentation of the advertisement. Should I sell another property in the future, Keates (and specifically, Andrew) will always be my first choice.”
“I’ve been wanting to stay at the Enchanted Village Treehouses at Alton Towers since they’ve opened, and as it was a friends birthday, 8 of us pooled together to stay in one during Oktoberfest during September 2023. I’m not going to soften the blow – this is one of, if not the most expensive accommodations on-site at Alton Towers, but was the price-tag worth it? I think it was! First off, once booked, we received all the normal confirmations as you would expect. What was nice however is we received a phone call a few days before we checked in from a very friendly woman, who explained everything we would want to know about our stay. It was a very nice personalised touch, and got us excited for the trip. Upon arrival, you get 2 reserved parking spaces at the Alton Towers Hotel which we took advantage of. As check in was at 2pm, we headed into Alton Towers in the morning and then headed back to check in. There is a specific Enchanted Village Treehouses check in area in the Alton Towers hotel, where you’re met by a member of the team who give you all the details you’ll need, keys and tell you how to get to your lodge. Once the paperwork was done, we headed to the lodge. The Enchanted Village area is car free, so we grabbed our bags and headed to the lodge. The host who checked us in stopped by to show us how everything worked, and again, this very personal touch was greatly appreciated and did elevate the experience somewhat. Upon entry, the Treehouse was impressive, with massive high ceilings and big windows overlooking the forest. There were lots of little details throughout the lodge such as little ‘fairy doors’, books for children, mugs with hot chocolate and biscuits, as well as an XBOX with games. As it was our friend’s birthday, they organised a really lovely treats hamper, including sweets, popcorn, some Wickerman goodies and a bottle of Prosecco – it was a really lovely surprise and one he hugely appreciated. The highlight however was the hot tub on the terrace overlooking the forest – it was fabulous and, in my opinion, made the price tag of the Treehouse worthwhile. There was something quite special being sat in your lovely warm hot tub sipping some bubbles overlooking the forest. The bedrooms were fairly small, but as we were staying just the one night, we didn’t spend a huge amount of time in them. As part of the package, we also got 4 Fastrack passes per person for The Smiler, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Minetrain and Wicker Man. These do change throughout the year so the rides may be different, but this was a great bonus as it was a busy Saturday on the park. As part of the package we got breakfast in the Crooked Spoon. I’ve left a separate review of my experience at The Crooked Spoon as this was very disappointing, and did leave a sour note on the end of stay – but I feel that the Treehouse itself shouldn’t be penalised for the poor experience there. Overall, as a treat for a special occasion, the Enchanted Village Treehouses are worth it. The service, perks and location really do make a difference – and the wonderful hot tub is the cherry on the cake.”
“Our stay at Alton Castle Centre Hostel definitely exceeded our expectations. We had been looking into options for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) to stay for 1 night following a full on day at Alton Towers and travelling from London we needed a place to stay. Being only 5 minutes away from Alton Towers and getting one room for the 6 of us together was perfect for our needs. The staff on arrival and throughout our stay were so welcoming and accommodating and they even had time to listen to the overexcited children we have in tow. we were allocated a table for our family in the eating area and everything felt so clean and organised. The room its self was clean and spacious. and after the deciding of who had top or bottom bunk the kids all settled well for the evening. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to crash when visiting the theme park and would stay again. Disliked · Nothing to reflect the Hostel itself but not being used to sleeping in a bunk bed, my sleep could have been more comfortable but we still had a good nights sleep.”
“My cat settled in and was very vocal. Great lady owner”
“4 night break exploring the area. Nice and central to get to various places including some lovely walks and exploring Leek. Accommodation is great with everything you need to prepare your own meals or eat out. Everything clean and well decorated. Our only problem was the lack of a teapot but this was rectified at once by the owner. Would definitely recommend but do watch the stone walls as you turn in.”
“A great pub with lovely staff and a friendly local atmosphere. Nice dining area with space for a large group of people, as well as pub seating opposite the bar. Nice size beer garden and car park on the site. Very close proximity to the railway station. The Real Ale Train event was on the day that we stopped for food so the menu was restricted to burger / hotdog, chips etc. It was still great food. The burger itself was massive! A real hearty portion. I couldn't finish my chips and was offered a tray to take the rest home. We will definitely return when we are in the area.”
“Went for dinner, the food is stunning. One of the best pub meals I've had in a long time. No one in my family had anything but good stuff to say about it”
“Excellent accommodation, staff very helpful”
“Amazing stay in the most beautiful little place. We loved having a little home from home out in the countryside. Would highly recommend!”
“Really nice and clean place. Stayed 2 nights and everything was there”
“New owners who are going to redoo all the rooms and showers new carpets and all new ceiling tiles Secure car parking and safe accommodation with security on every nite Really nice people and new owners good nice atmosphere gonna be a really nice place to live close to shops and train Stations and easy access to motorway”
“Very accommodating, went for a meal last minutes due to being the only pub near our campsite. Sat outside in the field adjacent the pub, bar staff were fantastic and super friendly, traipsing out with our food, which isn't a short distance. Served food till 9:30pm which was good for us as we had a long day hiking. This made the experience fantastic”
“Really grateful to James at the Blythe Bridge office who assisted with our sale. Keys is a family run business and you really get a good vibe from that. He made everything very easy and our property sold within 5 days of being on the market. The photographer that they use is wonderful too - really pleased with how our photos came out. They really did show off our property. We got the price that we wanted and a really efficient sale. James was also very good with communicating throughout - he passed messages between us and the buyers without a problem. He was not pushy and didn’t nag. We will be returning if needed in the future and would recommend to all of our friends and family.”
“A lovely little site situated in the Staffordshire countryside. We've had a really relaxing and peaceful weekend here. Communication from the owner was brilliant. Electric hook up and water to the pitch. Toilet facilities were basic but spotless. If you needed it there was a shed with a fridge and washing up facilities. We will definitely book again and recommend to friends.”
“Carlton is a great place to live - spacious, secure, clean and in a perfect location for Staffs Uni students! Just a short walk from the rail station and local food shops is an extra bonus! Staff are very friendly and always cater to individual needs. Rooms are great with lots of space and nice interior designs. Any problems with room maintenance are always solved quickly. I've thoroughly enjoyed living in Carlton for a year and look forward to another year there. Would definitely recommend to any students looking for a safe, friendly, affordable and overall welcoming environment to live in.”
“Friendly helpful staff. Excellent service”
“For a budget hotel, it's perfect! It has a pool, it has a gym, it even has a squash court!! The attached bar is a traditional "Woolpack" style with 3 pool tables and friendly staff. Yes, it is a little run down and could do with a carpet upgrade, but that's what slippers are for! Please do not go here as I don't want it fully booked when I go back!!!”
“I’ve just rented my new home through Leaders and I’m really pleased with the experience! The team made the whole process easy and stress-free. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, patient, and professional. Especially Amelia and Safia.”
“I both lived for two years and worked for one year at Q studios during my time as a student. My accommodation was one of the standard rooms on the fourth floor and I loved it. Having lived at Clarice Cliff Court prior (before the recent renovations) it was nice to have my own new kitchen space and internal facilities such as the wash room, gym and skips. No more walking out in the rain to take out the rubbish or do laundry! The common room was a fun feature that I enjoyed regularly booking to host friends before nights out or to celebrate birthdays. Both student ambassador and management staff were always helpful, attentive and patient and I remember both my time working and living there fondly. The building manager Tina Cotton is a marvel and always made everyone feel heard and appreciated and always strove to go the extra mile to make sure everyone felt included and celebrated year round. If you’re looking for a place to live in Stoke I can’t think of a better place to stay then Q!”

“Excellent service, I went into the branch in regards to a property and Ellie and the branch manager Tom went above and beyond providing advice and support and really going that extra mile. I would highly recommend reeds reins to anyone they have the patience and time to help and guide you through your move.”
“We didn't stay in hotel so cannot star the rooms. The food was lovely I had classic hunters chicken (chicken new yorker) and it is the best one I have had so far, the hot drinks were refills, staff friendly, would definitely go there again.”
“Just a quick thank you to Steve and Donna who own Dove Farms Barns , we had a short term holiday rental for a few weeks and the accommodation & help was second to none. This setting is fabulous and the attention to detail in the property is outstanding ,many thanks for making the experience enjoyable.”
“Outstanding, everything that makes a great British b&b. Starting with the owners who couldn't be friendlier and more caring about the service they provide, really comfy bed and characterfull clean bedroom and en suite. Better WiFi than most chain hotels and an excellent fresh well cooked breakfast. I'm looking forward to my next visit.”
“After over 13 months of trying to sell my house with numerous estate agents I decided to change again to another estate agents I'm so glad I did I went with Asterberrys estate agents who were very professional from day one they've kept me up to speed what was going on with sale of the house... my house is now sold after 7 weeks. I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could. I would definitely recommend this company”
