“Always have a good variety of items and super 6 is great. Weekly offers also very good value. Big free car park for the shopping centre, so usually parking not a problem. Bring a pound if you need a trolley.”
“Staff were amazing. I haven't been in years so didn't know where anything was. Staff friendly and helpful in showing me where everything was. Lots of slimming world food. Going to run my freezer down so l can go back and fill up. Great prices too. I will be back”
“Some great bargains to be had every single time you shop here. It's possible to get pretty much everything you need to feed a family on a budget. Although the Biddulph store I also visit on occasion is one of the smaller ones it still stocks a good varied range of essentials at great prices from food to simple household goods, beauty products and cleaning materials. The staff aren't particularly friendly as they get on with their work but neither are they downright ignorant like some staff in larger supermarkets that you would expect more from for the prices you pay.”
“Oh! My! Sweet! Jaysus! This food was absolutely fantastic! I walked in asking for something the chef would be proud of. Gentlemen you should be very proud, it was some of the best, if not THE best Turkish food I’ve ever had! 1000 stars!!!”
“So many great offers, definitely my go to for shopping currently! Well stocked, friendly staff, competitively priced too!”
“Great choice of spices. The veg and meat looked really fresh. Very impressed.”
“I'm so happy to have a recently opened Aldi in our area. I popped in today for a few items, quite busy but I didn't have to wait long at the checkout. My only issue is with the smaller sized trollies, the loop of the basket in the centre of the trolley near the handle, where I normally hang my shopping bag, stops short at the top of the trolley, the larger trollies extend up from the basket by a couple of inches forming a "peg" to hang your empty shopping bag on as you walk around. It's only a little thing, just aggravating and, as the loop is there, why didn't it extend like all the other, larger, trollies. I feel that the layout of the parking spaces is better, it seems to accommodate today's bigger vehicles. A good experience which I shall be regularly repeating, despite the trolley issue. Thank you Aldi. Visited again today, lots of Halloween and Christmas stock on the shelves, I remembered the all butter, sloe gin, mince pies from last year and bought some, which we had for after dinner today, every bit as lovely as I remembered. Thank you. 29/09/23 Yesterday I shopped at Aldi in Biddulph, I bought £103.00 worth of excellent goods, unfortunately one of my items, a German peppered Salami had not sealed properly, which I took back today, the manager I spoke to exchanged it immediately and told me to tell the cashier that the exchange had been authorised by a manager, perfect, so pleased, I "bought" another pack and 4 lots of butter for my Christmas cakes. Customer service was excellent as were customers who, once they noticed I had only 4 X butter in my shopping allowed me to "jump the queue' I was so happy that when another lady liked my shopping bag I gave it to her. Thank you Aldi. 4/3/24 I visited Aldi again today and managed to spend an awful lot of money, however, there were bargains galore, I bought an excellent Italian red wine on offer down from £6.79 to £3.99 and a New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc down from £9.99 to £3.99 wow who would have thought that you could buy a decent bottle of wine at £3.99??? There were chutneys and curry sauces etc on special offers, all of which I bought, a most satisfactory shop today. At the check out all of the serviced tills were closed, I was fearing the new self check out until a delightful assistant came to my rescue and helped me to put all of my shopping through the self check out till, thank you.”
“Really nice options and pretty cheap”
“Probably the best Lidl I've been to. It's big and new. The range is plentiful and every week they really add some new country's food. There are self-service classes and plenty of parking. As for Lidl, it's a great shop, but probably because it's new.”
“Genuinely impressed! We chose this restaurant solely based on the authenticity of the menu online, and the “boast” of a long wine list. Oh, that wine list is fabulous! (But so was everything else!) I truly recommend you come for a visit - food, wine and service are all exactly what you’d want if you were in Italy! Thank you very much for everything!”
“Good shop. Pay attention to the conditions for parking. You have up 15 min free. Then you need to spend £5 and get a scanable ticket for the car park machine or you will get a significant fine. Don't get caught out.”
“Reasonably priced, well staffed, and a very normal perishable range for a corner shop. Really nice little store. Brand new. I'm reviewing during Covid19 lockdown, and they've been handling it really well. Thank you for being a lifeline for everyone. Also in normal circumstances the shop is very organised, clean, bright, and well-staffed. Product range is very nice for a small store, and covers pretty much anything you might need for a weekly top-up. Staff are always really nice. You could definitely do your entire weekly groceries here, but it's still a local corner shop, not a supermarket. So don't be silly, and have reasonable expectations.”
“Amazing food amazing people. What more could you ask for. Prices are fair too.”
“Only required one item today as I was passing. Lurpak butter which was much cheaper than in Tesco. I would say by as much as £2 I did have a wander around and I will be calling back to buy Silentnight duvet and pillows as again they were at a bargain price”
“Excellent friendly staff and service”
“Genuinely some of the nicest food I've had. Great customer service.”
“Amazing staff so friendly. All products are fresh and at a reasonable price . If this place ever closes I'm gonna really miss it it's like our second home.”
“Ordered take out. Didn't have to wait long. Food was lovely Staff very friendly Nice atmosphere Will be using again”
“Good location. Stock with essential, staff are helpful when asked questions. I have been here several times in the mornings and it has not been very busy.”
“I really like this place even though I don't get to go here often. It's brilliant as someone who doesn't really find time to cook can still get meat and vegetables rather than fries and greasy burger. The food is cooked really well which is really important for this type of food and there are plenty of options for customising your meal. I just hope there are more of this type of fast food opening up in other places.”
“Good range of stuff and nice staff”
“Lovely big shop and has self checkouts for if you only have a few bits”
“It’s ALDI. Great prices and good quality Convenient , each branch has a similar layout , so you can find what you need. And their special aisles, get the offers when you see them as they won’t be there for long.”
“Very rarely doesn't have the things I want. Good selection of olives and prociutto. Wish Co-ops had spring cabbage on a regular basis. Otherwise, very good. Nice bread, too.”
“Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Had the American double and a cheeseburger with skin on fries - absolutely delicious!”
“Excellent choice of Polish food.”
“I ordered pizza tonight and I want to say what an absolutely lovely lady I spoke to on the phone. There was a slight hiccup with the order and I was contacted and after a genuine apology it was soon rectified. From what I can gather it was the ladies first day, and considering that her customer service skills are wonderful she is a lovely asset to the shop.”
“Wonderful shopping experience but would benefit from a refit as the fag counter surfaces are atrocious an inexpensive fix of laminate would do the job.”
“Brilliant day out! I had been looking at this place for a while but was unsure how good it would be. It was easy to find, there is plenty of parking, and it's cheap to go into the play areas (£11.99 per child and £2.99 per adult). I didn't see any disabled spaces, but there are no parking bays so you can leave a space next to the car for wheelchairs/pushchairs access. The car parking areas are well maintained, but are grass/dirt which might not be suitable for all wheelchairs. We went when it was really busy (hot day in the summer holidays) and it wasn't too busy. There are lots of well maintained paths around making it easy to navigate with disability aids (I myself use a stick and had no issues). There is a reasonably priced cafe, farm shop and concessions stand as well. You can also bring a picnic and there are plenty of benches/tables around to eat at! There are also lots of benches/seats in and around the play areas so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids and not have to be too far away. There are various types of play. areas for kids from toddlers to older kids. My son is 5 and he had a brilliant day! The staff around the farm are really friendly, and they look after the grounds so well with regular bin emptying, litter picking and tidying. Well worth the low cost to get in! We will definitely be visiting again! You can buy animal feed for £1 per bag at the entrance (reasonable bag size for the low price) to feed various farm animals on the way round. There are goats, ducks, geese, Free-roaming chickens, cows, horses, and pigs. Overall, I would easily give the farm 5 stars. It is a wonderful place to visit with the kids to get them off their tablets/devices and get them outdoors!”
“From my perspective, it's really , really good, love the extra coriander on the pizza, listened to what I wanted, and they delivered, this pizza is amazing, thank you guys. And just watch them grease drip traps, and don't let the driver walk in again!!! Otherwise a great pizza, and ask for it to be finished with fresh coriander, it's a taste sensation!!!!!”
