We've visited the shop daily for 1 wk with Dave and Emma taking it slowly to build Roos confidence and asking other customers to engage with Roo and today she's had a full groom, she looks and smells incredible and looked very happy and relaxed when picking her up. “We recently had to take our cat (Harry) into Crewe Vets for Pets as an emergency, from ringing to ask for an appt (which we were able to get within 20 mins of ringing) to seeing the vet we had an amazing experience. The staff at this practice are exemplary in their care for the animals (and animal parents !) Harry was looked after with so much care and love, and thankfully has made a full recovery. Nothing was too much trouble for Daniel (principle vet) from administering the right treatment to make Harry well again, to advice and reassurance for us while we had to leave Harry with them, he couldn't do enough for us. The team at this practice are amazing and we are so glad that Harry is in safe hands when he has to visit.”

“Lovely place to spend half an hour. They even had someone giving free grooming advice. I asked them if sweties or chocolates are best for 15 year olds, and they said No! You should try cider. Works much better apparently.”

“Helped immensely today with a stray cat we took in, we contacted them to advise we had a stray cat and asked for their advice. They advised to head along so it could be scanned for a microchip, we went down, the cat was scanned and the owner was contacted. The cat was 17 years old, deaf and had been missing for a week. The cat was reunited with its owner shortly thereafter. Thankyou for assisting.”

“I just wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you. You weren’t my registered vets (as I live in Manchester), but while staying with family in Stoke, I came to see you as an emergency on a Saturday afternoon. I have a 5-year-old Frenchie who’s been in and out of vet clinics his whole life due to chronic ear issues, originally caused by allergies. Over the years, I’ve seen countless vets, been asked the same questions repeatedly, not properly listened to, and given the same advice I’ve already tried time and time again. I often feel fobbed off and, to be honest, like many practices care more about charging for everything than they do about the welfare of our pets. But coming to you was a breath of fresh air. You cared about Joey just as much as I do. Bruce immediately recognised Joey’s anxiety and didn’t try to poke or prod him, which would’ve only made things worse. Instead, he listened to me, discussed what we’d already tried, and suggested a long-term solution—TECA surgery. He spent nearly an hour talking through the procedure, potential complications, and expected outcomes. I’m writing this review two months later, on the day of Joey’s surgery, while he snores peacefully beside me. I cannot thank Bruce enough. Although this is major surgery, I truly believe it will give Joey a new lease of life. Thank you for taking the time to listen, help, and care for Joey as much as I do. And it wasn’t just Bruce—every staff member I dealt with over the few weeks I was in and out of your practice (for eye ulcers and ear infections) was incredible. Chloe and Liam were calm, patient, understanding, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for me (there were panicked tears on the phone - and they were absolutely brilliant!) They always called back when they said they would and showed real care for Joey and his wellbeing. Empathy goes a long way, and that's what differentiates your practice to the rest, each and everyone of you made me feel seen, heard, and supported—not just as a pet owner, but as someone who truly loves their dog. That level of compassion and consistency is rare, and it’s what sets your practice apart. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being everything we needed and more. Thank you all for making both of our lives hopefully so much easier after this surgery. Although you’re not local, I’ve now changed my vets—and the hour-long drive is absolutely worth it. You’re not just my emergency vets anymore—you’re my everyday vets.”
