โA friendly and helpful practice without the sky high prices of many others.โ
โLovely place to chill out staff very nice and accommodatingโ
โJames Williams & his team at Poole Alcock has been responsible for the last three Property Sales/Purchases that I have made. On each occasion James has been extremely helpful, polite, Professional & knowledgeable and has made what could have been a very stressful experience, alot easier to deal with. I would definitely recommend James & his team to anybody who is considering a property sale or purchase in the future. Thank you James, Sophie & Lauren.โ
โChloe Heath team at Poole Alcock has been amazing throughout the whole purchase process. They were quite fast and always supportive and helpful. I was very pleased working with them to secure my first home purchase. They would always respond fast to all my queries. Iโve known more their worth after comparing them with the sellerโs solicitors who were slow and uncooperative throughout the whole sale, causing us massive delays.โ
โThank you very much for helping me through what at times has been a frustrating process. I was pleased to have Victoria and her team working on my behalf. You proved to be a great team and I will definitely use your services in the future. Thank youโ
โGrate place nice people, gym, games room , showers and lots more awesome place to stop with HGVโ
โA very welcoming family run small business. These guys know cars inside out and carry out pretty well every kind of repair. They will go out of their way to help, with advice and fitting you repair in as best they can (for they are very busy as they retain their customers by giving good service. Be advised that this is a very busy small repair unit and as such parking is problematical. Highly recommendโ
โPoole Alcock were excellent from start to finish when my partner and I purchased our first home - completion Sept 2023. They clearly explained their fees (which were fixed and very reasonable), responded to any queries immediately, chased up the seller's solicitor quickly and we're always available to help us through the many first time buyer questions (and nerves). As a first time buyer I cannot believe how easy they made the whole thing for us - they were always ready to go with the next part of the process, friendly and professional, and reassured us every step of the way. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Amelia and her team, Daisy and Katy, were fantastic throughout and a pleasure to work with.โ
โChloe Heath and her team provided valuable support throughout our conveyancing process. From start to finish they were incredibly responsive and proactive with any challenges that had arisen. We canโt thank you enough for making what is a stressful experience that much easier.โ
โJames Williams and his team at Poole Alcock did the legal work on my flat sale and they did a cracking job. Unlike other solicitors I've used in the past for buying and selling flats their communication was excellent and they were very responsive throughout. They were also significantly cheaper than the solicitors my estate agent recommended and worked on a fixed fee - I didn't get hit with extra charges at every turn (I've certainly experienced that in the past). All in all, highly recommended.โ
โWe did a lot of research before making our purchase. We wanted to buy a tub that would stand the test of time in our British climate, look good and be straight forward to maintain. Blue Lagoon Spas were recommended to us by a neighbour so we reached out via email for more information. We received a response the same day from Paul and from the first point of contact he could not have been more helpful, professional and polite. No question was a silly one, he answered all our (many) questions with ease, he was able to offer recommendations for labourers to ready the space for the tub & he visited our home twice prior to delivery. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of delivery Paul and his colleagues arrived bang on time, they were respectful of our home and our neighbours property. When all was finished they left our garden clean and tidy, exactly how they fpund it. Special mention to Danny. Both he and Paul spent time to explain how everything worked, how to keep the tub clean, safe and hygienic & didnโt leave until we were 100% happy. I would highly recommend Blue Lagoon Spas. Go for it, you wonโt be disappointed!โ
โReally scenic place to visit with amazing views! Can be done as a circular walk starting at hen cloud next to the tea room all the way across hen cloud and onto the roaches to the road at the end, then follow the road back to the starting point. 100% recommend!โ
โThis is an excellent facility.... Everything was outstanding. Our dogs, Bertie and Maddie enjoyed their 50 minutes of madness on a farm in a large secure field..... For ยฃ9! Parking on site, water kindly provided for the dogs and a few seats just in case us owners get tired watching our fur babies! There is an indoor barn for rent and a small shop selling eggs cakes etc. We're returning tomorrow for another 50 minutes. Bookings can be done online and payment either over the phone or at the gate...... Pop the cash in the wall box on entry. Highly recommend a visit with your dog/so here.โ
โSpent a superb long weekend here, the cottages were cosy, clean and very well stocked in games and puzzles with full amenities for home cooked meals. Beautiful location with easy access for great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!!โ
โIโve been taking my dogs here for the past 2-3 weeks and they love it. They have everything that you would need and want when taking your dogs for a run aroundโ
Located on Russell Street in Leek, The Mens Den is a premier barbershop offering top-quality grooming services in a relaxed environment. The shop features a modern, upbeat atmosphere complete with great music and a pool table, making every visit enjoyable. Their core services include precision men's haircuts, modern undercuts, and professional beard trims. They also specialize in children's haircuts, providing a patient and comfortable experience for younger clients, including toddlers.
โDefinitely one of the best rides at Alton Towers. Highly recommend giving it a go....or few.โ
โIt took us just nearly 4hrs to walk all around, including some sit down breaks and time to enjoy the views. We were blessed with a wonderful weather to enjoy the beautiful views. We had great time. Make sure you have wear comply footwear or even hiking boots as some of it was quite hard going and our feet and legs were hurting by the end. I would recommend and will most likely return it the future.โ
โThe Dingle is an absolute gem in the heart of Shrewsburyโs Quarry Park. Once a quarry, it has been transformed into a beautiful sunken garden with colourful flower beds, water features, and a peaceful fountain. It feels like stepping into a hidden oasisโcalm, serene, and full of charm. The planting is stunning in every season, and the history behind it makes it even more special. A perfect spot for a quiet walk, photography, or simply to sit and enjoy nature. Definitely one of Shrewsburyโs highlights!โ
โMyself, my wife and my in-laws came to a cottage near Blythe Bridge for our wedding anniversary. We had looked at a few places to go out for walks (ourselves and the dogs), and we decided on Downs Bank first. We're so pleased we did. There is ample parking for around 40 cars. We did a few easy walks as both of my in laws are getting on in years. But, there are a lot more challenging walks for those that like to get the heart rate up. Benches around the bank are a little hard to find but there are sufficient for just taking a brief moment near the stream. We were here in January and we couldn't have asked for better weather, and being early in the year, the cold and lack of children had made this a beautiful place to stroll around with very few people/kids or dogs to break the relative tranquility of a lovely place. Once you have done the walk a couple of times the chance of a different type of photograph have gone, but then you could start to get creative about differing points of view and shots to try. Overall I would highly recommend Downs Bank for all ages and abilities.โ
โWe had a great time at Go Ape Buxton. All the staff were fantastic. Particularly Ruben and Ella who were our instructors on the way around the course. I would 100% recommend a visit, even if you are a first timer like I was, the instructors put you at complete ease with safety first. I will be returning for sure.โ
