“Lovely staff, lovely rooms, not super modern, but have everything. Stairs are a bit dated, but it totally suits the building, superbly clean. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. Ample car free parking. If you're a train enthusiast, this is a must! It's opposite the train station. We visited Stoke on Trent and Nantwich, and both 20 minutes drive away. There were many more places about it, but we only stayed 2 days. Near Tesco express, macdonalds and loads of food delivery places.”

“Just had a 1 night stay for our 40th wedding anniversary had our evening meal and I had a fillet steak it was beautiful, my husband had the lamb pie it was very tasty but a bit on then small size. The room was spotless and very spacious, breakfast was delicious, I will definitely visiting again. Thank you”

“I have been using crewe tiger bites regularly since october due to an accident and pretty much house bound til my fractured back repairs. They have delivered hot food to me regularly and often between midnight and 3 in the morning as my body clock has been all over the place. Not only have they been quick to deliver in all weathers but when my little rubbish bags have been on the step they have offered to put them in black bin....one evan put my black bin when full on the street for me....now thats service with a smile. Food is nice good prices and all i can say is thank you to the staff and delivery drivers who have been very kind.”

“Harry DJ’d for my 40th party at the Vagrants after being recommended by the venue, and did a fantastic job. Booking was easy and the admin straight forward, and I got to request plenty of songs which were all played throughout the night, and he even managed to squeeze in a few last minute requests. “Absolutely fantastic breakfast! I ordered a bacon, sausage and egg bap, a chicken and bacon sandwich, and a loaded breakfast oatcake — and every bite was delicious. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. Easily one of the best breakfast spots around — I’ll definitely be back!”

“Love Hongs. And now with the addition of Kawaii Boba Tea it's an ideal place to pop in and eat and drink or pick up and take away. Food is great, portions are amazing. I'd rather spend 8, 9, 10 pounds on a portion of food here and get loads (even the small portion is loads) and leave full and stay full for ages. Rather than spend the same amount in a fast food place and be hungry within half an hour. Plus you have the added bonus that all the food is great quality and fresh. Staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. All in all brilliant, well worth a visit.”

“Had my 30th birthday here. Perfect place for a small intimate celebration. The place was decorated beautifully, setting the scene and mood. The team were very friendly and to top it off, the cooking was just delicious. The owner is also the chef. She is so friendly. There is plenty of parking and a lovely venue. I would recommend it 100%.”

“We came down to check out the new premises, and it’s great that the delicious food we’ve come to expect of MBC, from their time in the Market Hall, has been paired up with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. “A beautiful place to stay with a host in Simon who makes the experience of staying even better. The location is perfect for visits to Stoke on Trent and there are a host of great local pubs to eat at within 20 minutes. Breakfast was ideal and would recommend the oatcakes! Would love to stay again.”

“A really nice dining experience. And unusual. The fusion of the very modern main dining area and the more traditional snug really works. And how the huge dining area has been broken down into different character areas is very clever. The menu has variety and both our meals were something new to us and delicious. The service was excellent as well.”

“What a beautiful pub, walked in, needed a table for 6, the lady sorted it out even though they had taken a booking for 20 people. Brilliant menu, food looked & tasted fabulous, service was quick. Waiters were so helpful & polite. Definitely would recommend for anyone to eat there.”

“i absolutely love this place it is my all time favourite. the food is delicious, the waiters and waitresses are lovely and polite and the building itself is gorgeous. i went there for my birthday and they were so sweet gave me desert on the house and sang happy birthday. it’s in a lovely little village and everywhere is so tranquil- especially later at night. i consistently go back to alberto’s because how lovely a place it is. this is my favourite restaurant i’ve ever been to and highly recommend as the food is delicious and affordable”

“Decided to book in for a Sunday lunch after reading some other reviews. Really happy that we did as we were served a great Sunday lunch. We all had starters, myself going for the mussels which didn't disappoint and were well presented and very tasty coupled with a nice portion size as were the other starters. We all went for the giant Yorkshire pudding which contains all other elements of this amazing lunch, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, roast and mashed potato and stuffing. The veg was cooked perfectly for us, still having that little bit of bite, nothing was overcooked and it was all piping hot and tasty. By far one of the nicest Sunday lunches that you would possibly compare to one of your own, but without the effort of cooking it yourself. We will be back for this again and to try out some of the other items on the menu.”

“Fabulous cafe in the heart of Holmes Chapel. A friend and I celebrated my birthday here with afternoon tea and it was perfect. Lovely selection of cakes and savouries - everyone in the cafe sang happy birthday to me, and a cake with a candle in it!! Such lovely team running the cafe and a real treat going there at anytime.
