“We came as a family group of 6 and a toddler for a 60th birthday party on Saturday evening. The food and service was excellent. I don’t know the name of the waitress but she was exceptional. It was very busy but she still managed to be efficient, calm and find time to listen and talk to us in addition to having to rearrange the tables for another party. Our booking was under the name of Shaw so please thank the amazing young lady.”

“The most perfect wedding venue. From the outset of booking this venue Jose was there guiding us through everything we needed to know - not just about the venue, but advice on photographers and the actual ceremony expectations. The venue and grounds are simply stunning, you’d have never known we were so close to Stone centre! We were very lucky to get married outside and it was breathtaking, our wedding breakfast took place upstairs and it had its rustic charm with the beams and wheel, again, with lots of our guest commenting how lovely it was to see the character of the building. The food was unreal, one of the biggest compliments post wedding we got was about how amazing the food was especially the paella! Jose, his sister and all his family & workers that help run The Mill truly make it the wonderful, stress free and magical place to get married. I cannot recommend this place enough!”

“We had a lovely evening celebrating an anniversary. We were served by T who was engaging and attentive! Couldn’t have asked for a better meal out for a special occasion! Food was brilliant, drinks lovely and the extra touches don’t go unnoticed!”

“We love this place. Go on regular basis as they do amazing mid-week 4 course deal for £18.50 each. Poppadom, starter, main with rice or naan and ice-cream. You won’t get better value to eat-in, anywhere close here in Stafford for that. Food is exceptional, coupled with gr8 service. Definately Worthy of a visit if you like your curry, then go mid-week and take advantage of their 4-course set menu. Exceptional value for money @ £18.50 per person.”

“We stopped over at this cafe while on our way to a hike. Although the cafe was full, staff were very friendly and had time to talk. We had the coffee and a cake and it was nice. Plenty of parking onsite and the washroom facilities are clean”

“Fabulous little micropub just off the main road in Buxton. Good selection of ciders and beers that are well kept by the efficient and friendly staff. Brilliant atmosphere, cosy and friendly. Very dog friendly. If you like beer & dogs, you need to try this place ! Sadly I'm allergic to dogs so can never stay for more than about half an hour before I need some fresh air. Always pop in though when in Buxton !!”

“A little piece of Greece in Shrewsbury. AMAZING food & vibes. Love the little blackboard menus as the food is made fresh. & always as specials. It was fun chatting to other people dining about what they had & we had or were going for as we all had different boards dotted around. We will definitely be back. (Parking on road or opposite) I had the chicken gyros & my partner had the beef which was like a stew. I’m already craving another it was so good! We will pop out for takeaway one Wednesday evening for sure. I’m yet to try the lush looking baklava! It looks like it would be a gorgeous place to visit one summer evening too in the garden.”

“We came here for our works Christmas meal. There were 30 of us and everyone loved it! The service was spot on and the food was excellent, even for such a big group. Days later people are still talking about what a lovely time they had and how good the food and service were. We'll be back next year!”

“Had an absolutely brilliant lunch here, catered brilliantly for my coeliac mum (they were the best onion rings we have ever eaten). Everything was delicious, portions were spot on and the fact they use local ingredients, local suppliers and make their own sausages is ace. Thoroughly recommend.”

Fish was fresh, batter was crisp and perfect and the portion was massive! Last time I had Scotch egg starter - the best I have ever tasted. Will keep this pub on my list for sure!”

“Attended Capello’s for a meal out with a large group of work colleagues. The staff were really friendly and helpful and got all our food out quickly and correctly. All the meals were lovely and everyone really enjoyed the meal. There was great options for the gluten free and vegetarian members of the group. The atmosphere is lovely! “Turned up at noon on a Sunday having read some positive Google reviews. It didn't disappoint. Good for, excellent beer and reasonable prices. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that it only had one Three Tuns beer on offer despite being next door to the brewery. Apparently they fell out in the early 2000's and are now a Heineken affiliated pub so most of the beers are standard affairs.”

“I was there with my family. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. This was my first visit but it will not be the last. The food was really good. The soup came with two different meat, chicken and shrimp but I believe the base of the soup was the same. I enjoyed the soup but chicken was a bit dry. I ordered noodles and two orders coconut rice one egg fried rice both very tasty. The main course ordered , duck, 2 prawns and one chicken dishes but I later realised mum’s dish was chicken as well as mine but suppose to be a prawn dish. I asked, the staff to change mum’s dish. I wasn’t happy with my chicken dish but I had it, duck and prawn dishes were very tasty. We didn’t have any desserts but beer was pretty good be honest. We were full and loved the taste. Thank you Art of Siam I’ll be back !!!”

“The restaurant was very quiet, literally empty. There was no one just one person in staff. However, we asked for a proper spicy indian curry, they suggested DELHI Karachi and north indian garlic chili (we asked to add chicken) it was really delicious, a bit more spicy than we asked but it was grt overall. We had mixed grill as starters and it was delicious too! Although the management was not very good. We had to go over and call them everytime. I also felt, the sides prices was a bit too much for the size. However, putting the poor hotel management and prices aside, I would say the taste is absolutely the only thing that would make me want to come here again. Its all about food and its taste after all.”

“Wonderful welcome. Very large comfortable bedrooms and superb food! A fabulous place that we will return to regularly. The landlady and landlord and fabulous team make sure every guest is happy. Whether visiting for a drink, food or overnight stay you will not be disappointed. The food portions are huge but save room for the lovely homemade desserts too!!”

“I attended a private party held at Gurkha Dining. Gurkha Dining provided an exquisite meal for us! Every bite was a delight, full of gorgeous flavours, wonderful aromas, and lots of oohs and ahs of satisfaction followed. It was beautifully presented and the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. The acoustics were also great, in that even though we were a biggish party, we could converse easily and naturally. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!”

“I have visited Higher Ground on numerous occasions and love the decor, atmosphere and delicious food. Staff are always polite and attentive. I often visit with my children and mum who has mobility issues and staff go out of their way to accommodate us on a table that is accessible for her. The food is always delicious, and it is clear that they use the best locally sourced products. I usually go for brunch but recently tried the Shawarma wrap that was amazing. Would definitely recommend.”
