“Popped in for a Saturday morning brekkie. Decided on a large breakfast, with toast and tea, £7.90 We didn't have long to wait and it was large, I couldn't finish it. The food was cooked just the way I like it and not greasy. Will definitely be returning this little gem.”

“I was staying in a local hotel and climbing here in the evening so decided to try the cafe in between stints on the wall. Had a small pizza early on then a salad bowl later. Salad was easily enough on its own. Food was really tasty and excellent value. Smoothies great too and a reasonable range of choices for everything. Will be eating here instead of the hotel in the future.”

“Adore Dee Dee's cafe especially the fact it's based with a big shop I've not been here for awhile but know the staff have excellent customer service and always go above and beyond for their customers on busy days it's understandable that people leave there plates everywhere but for a small team they do and excellent job as for the food it's all home cooked and you get the extra benefit of a Costa coffee on top. Great place for kids shame they haven't got an outdoor seating area like before. But truly great cafe and atmosphere for all. Prices are reasonable also.”

“Lovely little dinner, it's always a great place to visit on the weekend for a brunch. (why I typically come here) The food is lovely, service is good and friendly. Atmosphere is chilled and there is plenty of street parking. You have the option of sitting in door or out door on the picnic benches. They do a nice coffee too.”

“Came with a party of 16 for Christmas meal out. Staff were amazing, food was amazing and so much of it! Would highly recommend a visit especially at Christmas the decorations were so pretty.”

“I was supposed to write this review a wile ago but I forgot, few months ago I ordered a new wheel for my giant bike, I went to the store and ordered with one of the guys, we checked before if it was available in the warehouse to be quick delivers at the store, i paid for it and they told me that I will get it in within few days, but after few weeks I didn’t get anything, I went to holiday leaving back my bike and using my sister one, not a great time … Nobody knows why that wheel took so long to arrive but I got it after my holiday almost 7/8 weeks after I ordered. I was not happy at all about that but Duncan, a guy who works there, noticed my frustration and offered me to replace the wheel for free, this gesture changed my review from negative to positive. Thank you Duncan! You did a great job!”

“Now known as 'Bar 141' Booked here on the off chance just for convenience NYE 2024. Looked reviews which looked good. We were not dissapointed! On arrival, we were taken to our table and drinks were ordered. Food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. Highly recommend.”

“Called in and unlike the nearby Starbucks I was able to walk in, sanitise my hands and order my coffee and snack without having to drove thru. Coffee was well made and being able to sit outside and enjoy it was rewarding.”

“Easy to find and plenty parking. Kids loved it! Cafeteria was reasonably priced. The play area was super secure. The staff were very, very helpful and lovely. Neither of mine braved the big slide, they look almost vertical! Lol! Wear long sleeves and trousers - this will help prevent friction burns off some of the surfaces. There's a little kids area. Parents are ok to get on the equipment and help their kids if they need. Adults only play time twice a month too! (Considering an outing for my divorce party!) Very reasonably priced, lockers available, seating on the. Ground floor and a mezzanine level. Book in advance during busy times to avoid disappointment. We had a great time and we'll definitely go again.”

Every question we asked about the menu was met with knowledge and enthusiasm — not just memorized lines. Food Taste & Quality: This is where The Fendrod really shines. The flavors are full and balanced, like the chef actually cares about seasoning — a miracle in itself. The dishes come out looking beautiful but not pretentious, and everything tastes fresh and deliberate. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, the sauces had real depth, and the desserts? Let’s just say you’ll need to pretend you’re sharing. The ingredients are clearly top-shelf, and it shows in the way everything feels both indulgent and clean. Team Morale: It’s obvious there’s good chemistry here. You can hear it in the laughter coming from the kitchen and see it in the way servers help each other out. The décor balances modern touches with classic coziness, making it perfect for both casual lunches and dressed-up dinners. You can tell thought went into every detail — from the seating to the playlist. Also furthermore we came in very late on the 10th of November as a big table of 8 and there was no moody ness the staff member at the bar was more than happy to move two tables together for us so we could all sit together Special mention to the chefs Tony and sam We were told the chefs were on 90 hours of working this week and the food was outstanding not an issue what so ever all the food was very tasty all at a good temperature and 8 full plates were brought to the table and 8 empty plates left And an extra special shoutout to the manager BETH Always makes sure my id is checked as I do look young for my age and she came in once on her day off to make sure everything was running smoothly Overall The Fendrod is one of those rare finds that gets everything right — great service, excellent food, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer and come back a little sooner. Solid 10/10, and well worth the visit.”

“The girls who work here are genuinely the sweetest. I've occasionally popped in after the gym a few times, and they’ve always been super friendly. Today I ended up leaving my phone in my dad’s car by accident and was completely locked out of my gym, so I was kinda stuck alone with no way to contact anyone. I asked the girls behind the counter if I could use one of their phones (which I know is such a weird thing to ask haha), but they didn’t even hesitate - they just handed it over so I could try to message him. They definitely saved me from being stuck there for like 3-4 hours. I tried to say thank you as I left, but they were a bit busy working - But again, I really appreciate it. You don’t get kindness like that everywhere! ”

“Did a shop here on Wed 24th Sept. Found the shop well spaced, well laid out and everywhere was clean. Huge carpark which was less than half full and had several dedicated places for disabled persons as well as family groups. Really, just the kind of experience one should expect from a large store.”

“We visited on Mother's day for a 3 course carvery meal. The staff were all lovely, especially Lois behind the bar who I had a laugh with & the very happy singing man serving at the meat station. The carvery quality was MUCH higher than Toby C. Big portions of meat, stunning roasties, veg fresh & topped up frequently and everything was cooked very very nicely. Our first visit here but it will certainly not be the last. Highly recommend trying this place, especially as the carvery prices are so good!”
