“We visited on Mother's day for a 3 course carvery meal. The staff were all lovely, especially Lois behind the bar who I had a laugh with & the very happy singing man serving at the meat station. The carvery quality was MUCH higher than Toby C. Big portions of meat, stunning roasties, veg fresh & topped up frequently and everything was cooked very very nicely. Our first visit here but it will certainly not be the last. Highly recommend trying this place, especially as the carvery prices are so good!”

“A small restaurant (but not crowded) upstairs so be aware when booking. We had the taster menu which was absolutely sublime, excellent flavours with a good choice of wines. We had a great evening and will definitely go again.”

“Went here for the first time yesterday evening and we were incredibly impressed. It was their new autumn menu and every starter, main and dessert was absolutely delicious and well cooked. Highlights include the gnocchi mushroom starter - was the best gnocchi I have ever tried (I don’t usually like gnocchi too much) and the flavours were balanced so well. Also the peanut butter and chocolate cheesecake - it is the nicest cheesecake we have ever eaten. It’s not overly sweet or artificial tasting, it’s very light and creamy. The chocolate brownie was gooey, not dry. Honestly 10/10 on the menu, there is something for everyone even for fussier eaters like myself. Service was great all night, and all the staff were lovely from the chef to the waiters. I can’t wait to return in the future.”

“Excellent Sunday lunch, mixed meat, great variety of vegetables and lots of it, more than enough to go round. Stuffing and gravy were delicious too. Staff very welcoming and accommodating , nothing too much trouble and if you want more of anything you only have to ask and they will bring it to you straight away. Good selection of desserts which again were all delicious. Great atmosphere, it was busy but staff were always attentive. Thank You for a lovely meal”

“Perfect breakfast spot. The mega breakfast was only for £6!! The food came quick, the place was clean and the man who served me was absolutely hilarious. Honestly, he really made my day and wish more businesses in the community would act like that.”

“First time visit lived in the village for nearly a year and always said about going but walked passed on a dog walk and the smell was too tempting! Fish cooked to order, nothing was overly greasy and quick and lovely service! Curry sauce they do mild and spicy! Disappointed it took me so long to go in!! Best fish and chips around! “We have been coming here for about 2 years. The coffee is super tasty and amazing quality and I cannot describe how delicious the pork cobano is. The amount of meat you get in the sandwich is super generous. The other food also looks insane but we love the pork cobano and have to order it each time. Lovely staff here also, just a great place to eat and drink.”

“What an amazing place and the food is proper chef prepaired not microwave ding like a lot of places. The depth of flavour and qaulity of the food was amazing, the staff are all very friendly and the waitress even helped us find some tradesmen ad we are new to the area. Service was amazing she was so chatty and welcoming and had a great knowledge of the dishes on the menu,will definately be back, no wonder they stack up the awards. The zoo at the rear is also a nice touch”

“Absolutely love this place. Been waiting to try it for ages as it’s often fully booked. Food was top notch and service very helpful. Will definitely go again to try some of the other items on the menu. I can recommend the Brian Griffin Burger and the Hey You Guys Fries. Not to mention the Millionaire Shortbread milkshake. Other half had a pint of Electric Boogaloo IPA which helped cut through the food. Ordering at the table with QR code was relatively simple and good if you are a regular. Not having been before meant we needed some assistance with our options, but that was quickly forthcoming. Food came out like lightning too and hardly any wait although we were the first ones in that evening. Also the food was hot, not lukewarm which I really liked. Careful if you are on a low sodium diet though. Maybe worth bringing this up with the chef before ordering. Outstanding Food and good music. Can’t wait for them to open in Swansea.”

“Went for the first time last weekend as we've started visiting 'new' spots. Thay that serve breakfast and are dog friendly. After a friend had recommended it. Didn't look promising from outside, but we were wrong very much so. After a 6 x full breakfasts with various personal preferences. Extra sausages ordered for the dogs everyone left full and satisfied. Will definitely be back.”

“Amazing find as we visited area for a birthday party. Small intimate venue, with plenty of parking and great staff. Real fireplace makes it more cosy. Good choice of starters, mains and dessert. For starters, I opted for firecracker scampi, which was crispy with plenty of fiery sauce. For main I went for beef which had a lovely rich flavour and dessert was a lovely warm gooey brownie. Highly recommend if you are in this area”

“We had such a wonderful evening here with friends. It's such a lovely intimate venue but it's so welcoming and relaxed a place that you instantly feel at home. The food and the wine choices are excellent and fantastic value for money given the quality. The thing that really makes this place though is the calibre of the front of house team, simply outstanding. Can't wait to go back”
