“We visited Harvester Llandarcy on the 29th of August 2025. It was fabulous especially thanks to Kayleigh that took care of us. My son has food allergies and Kayleigh went above and beyond making sure we were aware and happy with our choices. She even offered to bring salad directly from the kitchen for my son, so he wasn't as at risk. Thank you Kayleigh. The food was delicious. Harvester has become my son's new favourite place to eat, his chicken monster burger is his new favourite dish and I had the chicken skewer which was fantastic. “Harrys is the loveliest little resteraunt in the town. The staff are always so warm and welcoming, very accommodating. And I believe I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu and I’m never disappointed. The quality of the food is so good, I’m never waiting long, and it’s so reasonably priced. I’m always treated and served well when I go and the food is always wonderful! Many thanks to the Harries family for always giving me a great experience. It’s where I take all my friends whenever I’m in town! The other day I had my first dinner there and I couldn’t believe how tasty it was. The portion sizes are good also, it filled my whole plate. The décor balances modern touches with classic coziness, making it perfect for both casual lunches and dressed-up dinners. You can tell thought went into every detail — from the seating to the playlist. Also furthermore we came in very late on the 10th of November as a big table of 8 and there was no moody ness the staff member at the bar was more than happy to move two tables together for us so we could all sit together Special mention to the chefs Tony and sam We were told the chefs were on 90 hours of working this week and the food was outstanding not an issue what so ever all the food was very tasty all at a good temperature and 8 full plates were brought to the table and 8 empty plates left And an extra special shoutout to the manager BETH Always makes sure my id is checked as I do look young for my age and she came in once on her day off to make sure everything was running smoothly Overall The Fendrod is one of those rare finds that gets everything right — great service, excellent food, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer and come back a little sooner. Solid 10/10, and well worth the visit.”

“Haven't been here in years. Popped in for lunch Friday afternoon and I was really impressed with the quality of the food! Fair prices with the amount of food you get. The Mussels were lovely, big portion. So was the pie / burgers. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.”

“What a fantastic lunch. We attended the American Lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Mac and cheese, Jack Daniels ribs, handmade burgers, handmade garlic bread, hot dog with chilli, apple and cinnamon pie, with New York Cheesecake and whipped cream. Fantastic quality, taste, and beautifully presented. We were served by Callum a student at the college, who was wonderful - he hit the balance of being friendly, communicative and being professional perfectly. Our requests were met with an attentive Callum - who was able to explain the menu to us accurately. The team led by Nicola looked after the needs of our vegetarian friends brilliantly, so we all enjoyed our lunch. Nicola runs a very professional restaurant, with high standards - so we will certainly be visiting again. Add to this the value for money - it was around £12 for a 6 course meal with free cocktail. Thank you all, and compliments to the chef (Steve) and his team of students. Service excellent. Food excellent. Young people training, excellent.”
