“The posada is a stunning Victorian era pub with mostly original interior, including tiled walls and bar fittings. The pub is of national importance. There is an excellent selection of beers larger and cider, including four hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when we called in. There is an outside seating area behind the pub. Regularly featured in the Camra Good Beer Guide. A great pub highly recommended.”

“​We had such a cracking experience at Hollybush—we were truly impressed! ​Right from the start, we felt welcome. The first staff member we spoke to, a young woman in black, was incredibly friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We had booked a table online, we noticed the tables had names on and then we found the table which had been allocated to us with our name on up in the back area with the kids' toys. Honestly, what a brilliant idea—it's such a thoughtful idea and keeps the little ones happy. ​When we ordered, the staff were all professional, efficient, and polite. The only slight disappointment was that quite a few things were off the menu—like the kebab, the whole pizza selection, and a specific gravy dip for the burger etc. ​We were told to expect a 40-minute wait for the food, but it arrived in around 30 mins and it was piping hot. The serving staff were attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy with the meals. ​To be honest, we expected typical, run-of-the-mill, cheap pub grub, but we were completely wrong! The food was genuinely decent and cooked perfectly. From the fries being perfectly crispy to the burger patties being nicely charred, and even the kids' mac and cheese (which can often be terrible at big chain pubs) was great. ​The pub itself is huge, with so many different areas—it's a real breath of fresh air. We had an outstanding time, and we'll definitely be back very soon to dine with you again. Please do pass on our highest regards to the staff from yesterday—they were absolutely fab!”

“Next to canal. You can find a place to park bike in garden. Only serving carvery cobs in garden. But they were excellent, nice salad and chops were great. Some reasonable beer choices as well. Recommended.”

“I had a meal at Wrottesley Arms today and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared, but what really made our visit special was the outstanding service from our waitress, Tina. She was exceptionally friendly and polite, always wearing a smile .Tina went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and ensured we had everything we needed.No job was too big or too small for her, and her attentiveness really stood out. Highly recommend visiting for great food and excellent service.I will definitely be returning back here Soon!”

“Dropped in for Sunday Dinner, randomly as we were passing by, when we arrived at about 5:15 the barmaid said they were closing early (service usually ends at 6pm on a Sunday). It turned out the landlord had a family emergency to deal with. I thought fair enough and said no worries, we would go elsewhere. Anyway, the landlord insisted we stay and reopened the Carvery, it was lovely and the Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was nice and despite it being right at the end of service it still tasted fresh and delicious. The chef did us a fresh batch of Yorkies which were excellent.”

“Today myself and my daughter randomly decided to go to harvester after some shopping. We was greeted and seated by emma. She was friendly polite and immediately took our orders for our drinks and gave us menus. We opted for the 2 course lunches and refillable drinks. Our salad bowls were brought straight to us them. We're We helped ourselves to the yummy salad cart. I had scampi and chips..scrumptious My.daughter had classic chicken which she said was lovely. We both had treacle pudding which was a good portion with custard. Emma was very attentive to us checking in our food was ok and everything was ok. She was very pleasant and smiley. A credit to your establishment We will definitely be returning again very soon for your breakfasts.”

“Very warm welcome from the staff and a great location for this for this very charming hotel. I found the decor fascinating with an eclectic mix of paintings, statutes and vintage furniture in every corner and wall. Our double on suite room was finished off with a very comfy 4 poster bed! The staff can't do enough for you, everything is just an as away. The manager (Martin) was very professional and looked after us throughout.”

“booked in on the way up last minute as did not know what time I would arrive, Receptionist on the phone was excellent and answered all my questions. Arrived and was greated with a nice smile and was shown the room which was comfortable and clean, Went down and enjoyed a lovely duck breast with rice and a nice pint. Location is great just off the motorway . Totally diamond of a find would highly recommend this as a stop over.”

“Beautifully located on the banks of the River Severn, however, nasty winding lane passing Severn Valley Railway to access the pub. Standard pub grub elevated to meet dietary requirements. Even making homemade onion rings in gluten free batter! Great prices for the standard of food. They could easily charge much more. Eat inside or out on the deck. Help yourself to cutlery and condiments, pay at the bar and take a numbered spoon to your seat. Friendly atmosphere. Great, safe play area for children and pygmy goats to say hello to. Food was such good value and quality that we went back the following week to eat again!”

“Visited on Sunday 21st December and we were looked after by Sam, who was super attentive, polite, and very likeable. She has a lovely personality and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening. The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank shepherd’s pie, which was incredibly tender, rich in flavour, and topped with the most delicious mash. The venue itself was dressed beautifully for Christmas — warm, cosy, and with perfectly chosen ambient music that really set the scene. Thank you to the whole team at Himley House. Have a wonderful Christmas.”

Simon and Hilary were on duty today and looked after us during our time in site... “Superb eatery in the centre of Bridgnorth. Much more than just pizzas. The food was amazing and our two waitresses were brilliant. Great value meals, especially at lunchtimes. “A friend recommended this place to us. I wasn't sure as from outside it's not the best looking place. But my goodness, they serve amazingly good curries here. Big portions, loads of chicken in them and excellent quality and prices. The beer is also a great price. Don't drive past here, go in and try the food, served by lovely staff. Highly recommended.”
