“We had such a beautiful dinner! Everything tasted incredible, the quality of food and drink was fantastic and all staff were lovely. It’s such a shame in the Aberdeen scene right now. Restaurants like this should be thriving but there was only one other table while we were in. We made no request for anything special as it was my 21st birthday, but still the staff brought out a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. This completely surprised our whole table and was honestly such a lovely gesture. I really hope to be back soon.”

Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. “I had a nice catch up with a friend at Cafe Society, during a busy lunchtime period. The food was lovely and service was good. It was a tidy cafe. I had to sit next to my friend instead of opposite him, as the seats are quite far apart and it’s hard to hear when there is a lot of people - but that’s what happens when it’s busy! It wouldn’t be affordable to come here every lunch - as a tea and a burrito came to just shy of £10. Although hopefully I can be back again soon.”

“A great restaurant which I’d highly recommend. It prides itself on offering Scottish cuisine, so I’m not sure how the Korean chicken bites fit into that aim, but everything else is brilliant. The dining area is very spacious and decorated well, with plenty of space between the tables. All the staff are friendly and welcoming with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The chicken & haggis meatballs was the perfect starter - presented well and truly amazing flavours. A shame they don’t offer it as a larger main! There was no need to wish for a bigger portion of the pie though, it was massive! Again presented well and very tasty with lots of meat in the filling. Definitely somewhere I’ll be returning and for a more ‘local’ experience I’d highly recommend.”

On weekdays they have a mixed dish called a tali, which is great if you're an indecisive person. I just had a lamb korma with coconut rice and a naan bread, but hot dang, it was the creamiest korma I've ever had. Costs a pretty penny, though, but if it's a special occasion or you just want to splurge, it's quite worth it. Highly recommended.”

“Been a decade since I'd been to LK as had moved away from Aberdeen and have always missed it. Very happy to say they still serve the same delicious Pakistani food, so I ended up ordering from them two nights in a row! And I was only there for the weekend. My favourite dishes are all the biryanis, Karahi, Nihari, Haleem and kebabs with chips. Can honestly say I've never had a dish that disappointed here, and I used to order regularly as a student. The ladies who served me were very nice. I wish them all the success in their business and will be sure to visit again the next time I'm in Aberdeen.”
