“Just had an unplanned visit here after breaking down on the main road outside. Pleasantly surprised by this lovely little pub. Great selection of food and drinks (alcoholic and non). Lovely friendly bar staff. Prices seem reasonable. Decent (although a little on the small side) toilets with deodorant/hairspray etc in-very nice touch, especially on such a warm day! Quick food service, greatly appreciated!! Thank you :)”
“Just lovely, great food and brilliant service. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with friends. We will definitely return”
“Excellent Brazilian cuisine with stunning views. The food was authentic and flavorful, and the service was attentive. A great spot for both business and leisure dining.”
“One of the best bars in Halifax. It just nice to sit down with ya mates or a loved one and have a nice drink and a catch up with an amazing share platter. Love the place would recommend it to anyone.”
“Booked on the Sunday morning of the meal. It's definitely one of the best Sunday lunch experiences I've had in Haliax. From the very start, the staff were very welcoming, the service was excellent, and the food was beautiful. I can't recommend this place enough.”
“Always love Mori place. Fantastic food, great atmosphere amazing and friendly staff.”
“What a gem of a place. I had a meal last night, the service was impeccable and the food was top notch. I had a Pad Thai and it was fresh, vibrant and well presented. Best one I have had in the UK by far. The lady who served me was really helpful, friendly and gave me lots of interesting information on the different foods and places in Thailand. The owner was also in and came over to chat after I had finished my meal. His passion for providing a top experience was obvious and the staff there shared that same buzz. I was booked in at the Travelodge next door so this place was so convenient to have literally next door. I’d highly recommend it as a great place to grab a bite if you’re staying there.”
“Relaxed, informal, and dog friendly. Car parking limited.”
“The Mill is perfect for 5–6 year olds! There’s plenty of space to climb, run, and explore, with activities that are just the right mix of fun and challenging. It feels really safe, the staff are friendly, and my child always leaves happy (and tired!). A brilliant place for kids to burn off energy.”
“Clean, lovely food. Wish they'd answet the phone”
“First night dinner they ran out of food. For our first breakfast we had to wait nearly 30 minutes. Drink a reasonable price, room very clean. The bathroom could do with a sign to warn about how hot the water is and more non slip dots in the bath and a hand rail in the bath for people to grab onto. The reception and bar staff were very well mannered and nothing was a bother. We will go again”
“Cracking ale and keg pub. Great beer selection including Delirium Red on tap. Interesting toilet and especially the sink tap.”
“Went today for the first time. Really nice food excellent coffees but most if all the lovely kind waitress Helen. She was beyond lovely and so helpful. Thank you Helen we will definitely come again xx”
“We booked my daughter’s 3rd birthday party here at Sunny Gyms. Communication for booking was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and the place is spotless. Everyone commented on what a great party Venue It was. The food was presented in a afternoon tea style for children which was amazing. Thank you once again, would highly recommend”
“It's the first time I have been to the Milestone. I went with my sister and her husband. I must say we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The service, food and atmosphere was great. The food is reasonably priced but good quality. I had fish and chips. Probably the best I have had for a very long time. If you're close by try it.”
“I recently visited stump cross and tried their stump stack burger — and wow, it did not disappoint! The patty was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The fries on the side were crispy and golden. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere made it an all-around great experience. I’ll definitely be back again.”
“Amazing food. Amazing service! Currently have a one way system but fully explained how it worked to make sure we didn't get lost or confused!”
“The food is excellent also affordable. The beer prices are Leeds prices £5 a pint for Coors. Two real ales- Black Sheep Blond and Black Sheep Best at £4.70 a pint. Great service . I would not recommend it as a local unless you have deep pockets..”
“Amazing food and lots of it. Good value for money and nice friendly staff”
“We phoned on the off chance for a table this Sunday lunchtime and fortunately they managed to squeeze us in. We received a warm welcome here and the staff were brilliant throughout, as was the clientele. The Sunday carvery was quality and a choice of three sizes, all was cooked to perfection in particular the beef. Our first time here, but definitely not the last.”
“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Keith at The Cross Keys Pub for the beautiful catering provided for my husband’s wake. The spread and food were beautiful with guests commenting on how delicious it was. From our very first meeting through to the day itself, nothing was too much trouble — the service was outstanding, and you went above and beyond in every way. Such a lovely, genuine person who gave us a warm and comforting welcome during a difficult time. Thank you for everything.”

“Amazing interior and great graffiti artwork upstairs. The pancakes we got were nice and fluffy, great proportion. The food is not halal but they have vegetarian / vegan options. And they also have hot and cold drinks to choose from.”
“I ordered some takeaway pasta which is the best pasta I’ve had in a very long time. The staff were efficient and courteous. It did take about 10-15 mins for them to get the pasta ready but since it was prepared fresh then it’s worth the wait. Would definitely call again”
“Out with mates and called for breakfast, only a small cafe run by two ladies but service was good, food was very good and plenty, I had a breakfast x1 and it was enough, they do takeaway as well because people kept coming in for sandwiches, excellent.”
“Lovely place, the flat white was perfect and I couldn’t believe the raspberry and almond slice was gluten free it was so light! They even sell the beans they use so I got a bag to take home. Lovely little place to stop at during a canal walk ☕️”
