“Almost Decided to visit a reasonably new venue. It was quite quiet the night we visited (friday) The menu is quite short but most were things I would be delighted to eat. We decided to have different courses to spread the experience. The Amuse bouche was a wonderful summer Gazpacho. Starters were squid (mine) and prawns (friend). Both really nice dishes, the squid for me was my meal highlight. Quite liked my lamb rump but personally not a fan of the minestrone veg. My panna cotta was superb. Front of house was really nice, didn't get much contact with chef. It was a lovely meal, great food almost there. Word of caution Steps down to toilets are very steep and not deep, a bit of a challenge for the less mobile. Non alcoholic cocktails were a little weak for my taste.”

“Visited Brighton while with a friend and we really weren't sure what to eat and stumbled across Betsy's and all I can say is it completed exceeded our expectations. We both settled on burgers and chips (which you do have to order seperately) but everything was cooked to perfection and both the fries and chunky chips were the best, crispiest chips we'd ever tasted! The menu is super with lots of choices to suit everyone so it's a great place to go if your group can't quite decide on one cuisine. The burgers were amazing and great value for price (I think the tab came to just over £30). The portion sizes were much bigger than I had bargained for but Tony (one of the owners) gave us a takeaway box for everything we were unable to finish. The decor is beautiful and it is a very cozy place with great ambience. Betsy's is going to do amazing for itself and I will be back next time I'm in brighton”

“My friends and I booked through First Table, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant is on Boundary Road, quite a way from central Brighton, but the interior is worth the trip — beautifully decorated and full of character. We were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, who offered some great suggestions. We tried their Turkish white wine, which was spot on, then moved on to starters and mains. The highlight for me was the lamb casserole — absolutely heavenly! What really sets this place apart from other Turkish restaurants I’ve been to is the pricing. Even without the 50% First Table discount, the menu is very reasonably priced. The only downside for me is the location, as it’s quite far from where I live (Preston Park). Still, I’d happily make the journey again for their food. Dined for: 3 Meal: Starter + mains + drinks Total bill: £109”

“I have visited Arcobaleno on many occasions and always a fabulous time. Lovely friendly atmosphere and LGBTQ+ friendly based on Wizard of Oz theme. Cocktails are fun and the Maltase menus is fabulous and great if a cabaret show is on. Had Sunday roast yesterday with a group of friends and all arrived at the same time and it really is the best roast I have tasted in Brighton. Vegans and vegetarians also catered well for. The staff are great and welcoming. This is a unique place in Brighton, very chilled away from the louder places in town, which I would highly recommend. Don't miss out and tell your friends.”

Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. I loved the range of food and the care the staff took to make sure everything was perfect. “A little over 7£ for two pastries. We got almond croissant and a fruit danish, both tasted divine. Theres a layer of what tastes like evaporated milk in the middle of the pastry layers which elevates them to the next level. Very impressed.”

“My mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day.Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. “I found your restaurant on Google Maps and am grateful for that. As a Persian fan of Kebab, I can say that this restaurant, Joojeh, was precisely what we have in Iran. Its taste and flavour were perfect. The service and the servers were excellent. She was so welcoming and made my experience even better. I can only say that there is room for improvement in toilets. There was no tissue paper, but the soap smelled very good.”
