“Mainly a takeaway, but they kindly & happily arranged the table for us to eat in. Service was quick, food delicious, very good value & service couldn't have been better! It's obviously very popular with locals & rightly so imo. Would definitely go again.”

“The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and nice, I ordered a basket of bread and fish soup, the soup is really tasty and has variety seafood inside. There are many restaurants in Brighton serve fish soup but most of them are pretty pricey but this one’s price is reasonable. The bread is fine, felt it is super fresh bread but it’s good enough. It is an small restaurant that run in Brighton for more then 50 years. Will definitely come back to try more different dishes next time.”

“We were lucky enough to eat as guests in the Over Wallop restaurant at Glyndebourne last week, during a performance of the Magic Flute (sublime singing and music!), and thought the food the best we have ever had there. We had the Sussex asparagus starter, followed by the Cumbrian lamb (cooked to perfection and the depth of flavour in the jus was simply superb), with the coffee mousse to finish. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and we could not find a single fault. Well done to Steve Groves and his brilliant team. As always the service was immaculate and it is a wonder to behold how so many meals are delivered (like clockwork) mid-performance in such a short window. Thank you so much to all concerned for helping to make such a special evening.”

“A wonderful experience, I visited with a group of 5 (myself included) and the worker allowed us to push together the tables and was super helpful and accommodating! We ordered three pizzas and all three were delicious. Everything was homemade which was extremely impressive, and the atmosphere was very calm, and pleasant. 10/10 customer service, and 10/10 food!! I recommend visiting or ordering here if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine, and a relaxing atmosphere with wonderful customer service!”

“Food is always fantastic! The owner Ben is always great to chat to and willing to make any customisations you want and has an ever changing menu so always new things to try. Great to see the level of passion he puts in to his business, been a regular customer since he opened. Burgers to die for and the loaded fries are sensational”

“Almost Decided to visit a reasonably new venue. It was quite quiet the night we visited (friday) The menu is quite short but most were things I would be delighted to eat. We decided to have different courses to spread the experience. The Amuse bouche was a wonderful summer Gazpacho. Starters were squid (mine) and prawns (friend). Both really nice dishes, the squid for me was my meal highlight. Quite liked my lamb rump but personally not a fan of the minestrone veg. My panna cotta was superb. Front of house was really nice, didn't get much contact with chef. It was a lovely meal, great food almost there. Word of caution Steps down to toilets are very steep and not deep, a bit of a challenge for the less mobile. Non alcoholic cocktails were a little weak for my taste.”

“A most delicious pizzeria, which is a paradise for vegans. We walked around the nice city. A family of vegans, with children. Oregano was an excellent option for lunch. The restaurant opened just as we arrived, and we waited a bit for them to sort it out. The owner was nice to us the whole time. We ordered a margherita pizza for the kids. The adults shared a mushroom pizza and an oregano salad with sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts. The food was perfect, the service excellent. We have really enjoyed.”

“Quite literally one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Certainly not one of the cheapest, but no questioning the value for money. The service from the staff is amazing, largely due to it being a family business. Visited for my birthday and took a sharing menu with wine tasting and every course was utterly sublime, each beating the last. The wine pairings were also beautiful and well described and explained by the staff. I cannot recommend enough coming to try this restaurant. I will 100% be back in the future!!”

“Come across this gem whilst working down here and trust me I'm so glad I did, The food was so tasty and succulent. I was asked to try this pizza the chef cooks for the staff , it's bread with a sweet peanut buttery topping, sorry for not remembering the name but it was delicious. We will definatly be going back here. No other takeaway comes close. Thanks guys for that very tasty meal. The kofta was absolutely mouth watering. Well done you certainly know your stuff. “Absolutely wonderful gem in the heart of Worthing Town. Food excellent quality and exceptional value. Very friendly and little Bobby is so adorable. Great for wheelchair users and my fussy dad who felt very at ease and enjoyed his butterfly chicken immensely. This has not been my first visit because I like to go back to see if the food is consistent which it is hence this review. I'll be back again soon”
