“A most delicious pizzeria, which is a paradise for vegans. We walked around the nice city. A family of vegans, with children. Oregano was an excellent option for lunch. The restaurant opened just as we arrived, and we waited a bit for them to sort it out. The owner was nice to us the whole time. We ordered a margherita pizza for the kids. The adults shared a mushroom pizza and an oregano salad with sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts. The food was perfect, the service excellent. We have really enjoyed.”

“We went here for our anniversary dinner, wonderful food and service! We had the duck and lamb, both very tender and juicy. For starters we had the duck roll and scallops, I normally don’t enjoy seafood which I always find “fishy” but I loved the scallop, complemented by the sauce/puree that goes with it. For dessert we had the mango cheesecake, not the most impressive but not bad and would overall recommend this place !”

“Wow wow wow!! If you've never been to the Arcades restaurant on Worthing seafront you have to go! 5* food and 5* service. A family run business and a huge choice of menu and very reasonable prices! Where can you get a starter for £6 these days? We had whitebait and calamari starters. For mains we had steak, sea bass and cod and chips. All delicious and huge portions. The only picture I took was of the steak main If you've not tried this place you must!”

“We came to Efes on a whim and what a great decision that was. Efes is easily the most authentic and lovely experience we've had in Worthing. Our server Ali was attentive throughout. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend the experience to anyone. The food was incredible, to the point where we took home leftovers and argued between us over whose dish was best (we couldn't decide! Both were amazing!). A 10/10 experience - the kind where if someone who was visiting Worthing asked me where I'd recommend for dinner, I would say Efes.”

“The Dining Room hosted our 'after ceremony' meal in June 2022 and did a fantastic job. The venue is perfect for an intimate meal with close family, bridesmaids and best men - just what we wanted. We dropped some of our themed decorations off the day before which were all laid out for us when we arrived. The food was delicious and so unique for our special day - they accommodated for all different tastes. They offered a wide selection of drinks and you can also bring your own drinks for a corkage fee which we utilised for the toast. The location was very convenient for us due to our ceremony taking place a few minutes drive away. Our guests loved the surprise of the 'signing chef' after the speeches - a great mix of songs! They even went the extra mile and recorded a video of the 'singing chef' for us to add to our wedding video as we had missed filming it due to enjoying ourselves too much! Very reasonable pricing for a special meal. We hope to come back to celebrate our anniversary here time and time again.”

“Pitch made us feel so special when we came to eat. Due to dietary issues, they created a menu just for us and the meal was excellent. Catered completely for low fodMap, dairy and gluten free and the staff were attentive, relaxed and friendly. We had a fantastic night and have no issues today. “Shafiques is THE best Indian restaurant/takeaway out there. Me and my partner frequent Shafiques for every occasion, every chance we get! My family loves the food and they always say there is never a single fault! This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars, it’s our absolute favourite! The staff are all so friendly as well which makes the dining experience even better! Not a single bad thing about this place! Would recommend time and time again!”

“Absolutely wonderful gem in the heart of Worthing Town. Food excellent quality and exceptional value. Very friendly and little Bobby is so adorable. Great for wheelchair users and my fussy dad who felt very at ease and enjoyed his butterfly chicken immensely. This has not been my first visit because I like to go back to see if the food is consistent which it is hence this review. I'll be back again soon”

“I haven’t enjoyed a meal out so much for a long time! We had (amazing!) quesadillas and taco’s, homemade tortillas and a gorgeous aubergine starter. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, it won’t be long until we’re back! Thank you for a great evening.”

“This is such a hidden gem! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the food tastes as good as it looks like on the photos and is cheap for such quality. There is an ‘boutique’ tea section I fell in love with. There are so many different items on the menu I’d like to come back and try especially Lebanese themed items! The only thing is it is a bit dark inside inside but maybe that’s just my preference.”

“Hands down the best Bulgarian meal I’ve had outside of Bulgaria. Went to Donchevi Kitchen & Bar today with my other half for lunch. As I’m from Bulgaria, I always wanted to share my cuisine but previous attempt have not been successful due to lack of quality original Bulgarian ingredients or chef abilities. This restaurant on the other hand tasted like home. We had kufteta, shopska salad, mousakka, parlenka and chips with Bulgarian cheese. Everything was not only authentic but also delicious. I loved it so much I had to ask for takeaway bag to take some home. I definitely recommend the restaurant to both Bulgarians and to everyone keen to try something different which they will enjoy. My partner is a bit picky with their food as they are British and tend to go with Italian food or British but they loved it too.”

“We had a table booked for 7:30 Wednesday 14th August for 4 people. We were seated in the courtyard and it was beautiful outside under the Jumbrella - the temperature was perfect : 3 of us had the chicken skewers to start and the chicken was so well cooked it easily came off of the skewer and the garlic butter was to die for. The other had the sharing platter for 2 (the fish one) it was a perfect size for a starter and for one person even though the rest of us “helped him out” . Portion sizes perfect. For mains we had 3 steaks and the surf and turf. Really generous portion sizes, quick service, food was DIVINE it was a shame to finish. We all had the same desert the chocolate mousse choux bun and even though nobody really had room for them they went down very easily!!! We will DEFINITELY return. The manager and all of the team were so attentive, friendly and professional it was a delight to be served by them. We loved the fact that it is a dog friendly restaurant and wish that there were more restaurants like this! Keep up the good work!”

“This is my favourite restaurant in Worthing! The food and service are always 5*....having just returned from the Mediterranean I wanted to keep the vibe going a bit longer. The food is superb and every bit (if not more) as good as we have eaten abroad. It's a shame the restaurant isn't situated nearer Warwick Street as I feel it would always be packed with people. Every time I have been in there it has been quiet and I'm sure it's because it is slightly out of the town centre, with not many other restaurants nearby? Thoroughly recommend to everyone, it's only a short walk and worth every step!!!”

“I first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! We’ve been back every month since, it’s brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if it’s someone’s birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, I’m surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys we’ll see you next month!”

“We decided to enjoy a roast at The Egremont and were lucky to arrive early enough to get the last table before they filled up with 100 pre booked roast dinners I ordered the lamb shank, while my friend chose beef, both served with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, red cabbage, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, and parsnips—much more than we expected! We also shared a giant portion of cauliflower cheese and some massive pigs in blankets, which we affectionately dubbed The Egremont sausage surprise. The food was delicious and plentiful, and I even shared some of the pigs in blankets with the neighboring table, & bought some food home - If you plan to go, I recommend making a reservation! “We stayed 4 nights in a ground floor double room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and spacious, bed was comfortable. It was hot week and they kindly put a fan in the room. The lounge is relaxing and comfortable with a nice outlook onto steyne gardens. The breakfast is amazing, can't fault it. Excellent choice and quality plus the service is top class. Staff are really nice and helpful, we didn't get everyone's names but big hi to Vicky and Tim. We will definitely stay again next time we're down that way from Essex. Best wishes Ian and Denise.”
