“The Dining Room hosted our 'after ceremony' meal in June 2022 and did a fantastic job. The venue is perfect for an intimate meal with close family, bridesmaids and best men - just what we wanted. We dropped some of our themed decorations off the day before which were all laid out for us when we arrived. The food was delicious and so unique for our special day - they accommodated for all different tastes. They offered a wide selection of drinks and you can also bring your own drinks for a corkage fee which we utilised for the toast. The location was very convenient for us due to our ceremony taking place a few minutes drive away. Our guests loved the surprise of the 'signing chef' after the speeches - a great mix of songs! They even went the extra mile and recorded a video of the 'singing chef' for us to add to our wedding video as we had missed filming it due to enjoying ourselves too much! Very reasonable pricing for a special meal. We hope to come back to celebrate our anniversary here time and time again.”

We had Riccardo (might be slightly wrong) but couldn't have asked for any more. It is slightly on the more expensive side but one million % worth it if you want the full experience. “Pitch made us feel so special when we came to eat. Due to dietary issues, they created a menu just for us and the meal was excellent. Catered completely for low fodMap, dairy and gluten free and the staff were attentive, relaxed and friendly. We had a fantastic night and have no issues today. “Enjoyed an amazing 3-course meal after being unable to get in to Prezzo opposite and crossing the road to try Dom. I always thought it looked a bit empty when passing but it's spacious with plenty of inside and outside seating. It was fairly full with a nice atmosphere. Service was good, food was reasonably priced and we were made to feel welcome. Will definitely be back next time I fancy Italian.”

“Came to Brighton for a day trip. Was recommended this restaurant by a family member who had been before. Nice cosy old-school vibes. It was a sunny, warm summers day, so we sat outside. There was a range of dishes, but we went for the £27 for 2 course summer set menu, as it seemed a good value for money. I ordered raw rock oysters as starter. Got 3 fresh oysters which were fresh and juicy. Came nice and cold, with the mignonette and ponzu dressing. Delicious! Another person on the table ordered salt and pepper calamari and even though portion was small, with 3 large pieces of calamari, the taste was amazing and it was so fresh. The fish and chips were crispy and fish was flaky. Though again, could do with a few more chips. Tartare sauce was great! The mussels marinieres was exceptional. The sauce was extra creamy and goes well with chips. For the price of the set menu, its great value for money! Would highly recommend! There was bread that came to the table with delicious mackerel pate. But you will need to pay for a cover charge for this. Drinks menu was extensive. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. Women’s toilet was up some narrow stairs at the top of the building.”

“We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

“I joined Wickwoods in May 2024 and at the time, I had just been diagnosed as diabetic and really struggled to 'enjoy' any kind of gym I had ever joined before, very quickly cancelling my membership as I found it boring. Something had to change and I won't lie, when I initially signed up to Wickwoods it was not easy given the price but what I can honestly say is that in hindsight, it was one of the best decisions I ever made and it is worth every penny. I find the variety of classes, gym and racquet sports help keep me engaged and 18 months on I'm going 5/6 times a week and loving it, it's a great place to be for my mental health and I've reversed that diabetes also. The staff are so pleasant and I've made some great new friends also. If you are thinking about joining, I wouldn't waste any time in doing so, you won't regret it.”

“You can't come to Brighton without visiting this iconic hotel. We sat in the bar and had an afternoon snack. BLT | Toasted bread, streaky bacon. gem luttuce. homemade £14. Smoked salmon & tiger prawn. iceburg lettuce, avocado. lemon. £16. And two pots of tea. Thought the prices were quite reasonable for such an impressive hotel. The service was good and we especially like it here as you can sit with your dogs.”
