“Lovely staff and owner, great layout. Proper old boozer but not awkward like some are nowadays (as a young person!) Fireplace, dogs, good Guinness, what else could you ask for.”
“Great Cafe situated at the heart of the village. Coffee is great, food is delicious service is good. Staff are in the main friendly but not all which drops the single star, but not enough to make this an issue. All in all,a great find and we'll worth a visit.”

“Almost Decided to visit a reasonably new venue. It was quite quiet the night we visited (friday) The menu is quite short but most were things I would be delighted to eat. We decided to have different courses to spread the experience. The Amuse bouche was a wonderful summer Gazpacho. Starters were squid (mine) and prawns (friend). Both really nice dishes, the squid for me was my meal highlight. Quite liked my lamb rump but personally not a fan of the minestrone veg. My panna cotta was superb. Front of house was really nice, didn't get much contact with chef. It was a lovely meal, great food almost there. Word of caution Steps down to toilets are very steep and not deep, a bit of a challenge for the less mobile. Non alcoholic cocktails were a little weak for my taste.”

“Each time I take a sip from one of Old Tree Breweries drinks, I am overwhelmed by senses and tastes I've never experienced before. It is as if the faeries and sprites of the forest are playing fireside games inside my mouth... enriching my taste with the knowledge of the forest, and their fluttering leaps leave fizzing trails of wonder across, on top of, and all over my mouth, lips and tongue. I'm sure you'll be enchanted as well by their taste. Don't expect the ordinary. Prepare for a journey. Drink Old Tree.”
