“I came for the bottomless brunch. Harri the bartender was great and made sure we always had cocktails ready to drink, there was a lovely lady called Lisa serving us. Honestly service here has always been great. I prefer the general menu to the bottomless brunch menu but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all!”

“Coffee At 33 – Small shop, big heart (and seriously good coffee!) The owner is incredibly sweet and friendly — you feel welcome the second you walk in. . I ordered an espresso, a cortado, and a hand drip, and every single cup was perfect. Balanced, smooth, and full of flavor — no bitterness at all, just pure coffee joy. Their pastries and baked goods look so tempting too… I wanted to try them all! If you’re in Brighton, you’ve got to check this place out. Just a heads up: it can be a little slow because they’ve got so many loyal regulars — but trust me, it’s 100% worth the wait.”

“Wonderful staff and the usual patronage / regulars are all incredibly welcoming and full of humor. Not one macro brewery to be found. All local-ish microbrews from really incredible breweries. When I return to England, even if I'm staying far from Kemptown I'm definitely popping by Hand In Hand again. Amazing!!!”

“So glad I found and booked this restaurant for a special birthday celebration meal for my best friend! We absolutely loved it. From the ambience, the attentive and accommodating staff to the scrumptious food! The staff really helped me make my friend feel very special for his birthday and I really appreciated it!! Oh one more thing (again) the food was topnotch full of explosive flavours and at a reasonable price too. We would travel all the way back to Brighton to dine here again! “We had such a fun time at Oddballs yesterday being shown yoyo tricks and how to juggle! The guy in the shop was fun, friendly and super helpful. We left with some poi and a game and I'm determined to get to a point where I can pick up my fire poi again soon after 25 years!”

“We had our wedding party at Cafe Rust last year, and everything about it was fantastic! Anna is the QUEEN of organisation and delicious food, and thanks to her and the team we had the perfect wedding. The cafe looked beautiful, the food was amazing (people were talking for months afterwards about the slow-cooked middle eastern lamb!) and all the staff were so friendly and worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly. Would 100% recommend Cafe Rust as the perfect venue and it will always hold a special place in our hearts ”

“Roses outside, curiosity inside. This place caught my eye immediately — green walls, wood accents, and plants spilling over every corner. Someone clearly cared about this space. It was packed, which made taking photos tricky, but I still managed to steal a few frames that felt worth it. The blonde girl at the bar greeted me with a smile. Didn’t stay for coffee this time — I was here for the light, the textures, and the visual mood. But something tells me I’ll be back, with time to sit.”

“Shared a range of starters with my friend, great portion sizes and particular standout was the Tzatziki. Main could’ve done with more seasoning but I would go back to try other mains. Halloumi is out of this world - definitely recommend. Overall a lovely experience and would recommend.”

“A wonderful cornucopia of stuff! Tables, chairs, sofas, cupboards, beds, books, toys etc etc. All are at a knock down price. It's our go to first place now. The cafe is also very good, I have a chilli burger and chips. The burger and slaw were homemade and the chips hand cut. Excellent!”

“Brunch was fantastic here. Food was great as well as drinks. We opted for the bottomless drinks, but as the restaurant was extremely busy was a little slow with topping us up but understandable. Friend’s steak wasn’t great but was replaced immediately. Other than that, food was so good we returned the next day before heading back home.”
