βThis is a great place to bring the kids for lunch. They have delicious ice creams. Also the portions are good sized. Itβs not expensive at all and itβs quite tasty. The people are quite nice, accommodating and really friendly. Itβs right in the park and next to the paddling pool so the kids can have loads of fun here, you can really spend the day, and have loads of fun recommended.β
βgreat little brunch spot with fantastic food and good coffee. lots of options on the menu (including gluten free options on all the savoury brunches, plus the pancakes come gluten free as standard!). the staff were super helpful with allergies and were as careful as possible.β
βI really enjoyed my experience there! I love the historic building. The people who work three are friendly and polite. The seats are comfy. I've been meaning to visit for long time, and finally I did. And I'll certainly come back for more films to watchβ
βWe were quickly greeted and seated and there was a lovely buzz as the restaurant was full. There was plenty for the vegetarians among us on the menu, and the waiter advised the abstainers from alcohol as well as suggesting wine to go with our food choices. I had a very good cocktail. When the food came it looked lovely and tasted wonderful. Some Spanish people at the next table seemed to be enjoying theirs, so I think it must be up to Spanish standards. We had ordered rather a lot, but there wasnβt much left! We had a lovely evening, and will be back as soon as we can find some more greedy people to share with!β
βI moved to Portslade in February and The Foghorn has become one of my favourite locals. I love ale and this place is heaven for that, straight from the barrel so every pint is fresh as a daisy. Tommy, Tim and all the staff are great too. They also have a great selection of wine and cider, friendly locals also add to the all round great vibe of the place. Proper pub!β
βMy mother and I visited this place on the 09.10.25 during lunch time hours. We were greeted with a beautiful smile form a young lady that was very happy passionate and welcoming. She designated a very nice table with a good view by the window overlooking the best view. All other staff were very kind and attentive including the restaurant owner . The atmosphere was nice with great menu selection and very good music playing in the background. The young lady was efficient and always took care of my mother's needs and even spoke in my mother's mother tongue spanish. The food was great, always well presented and very delicious. We had alot of fish dishes and they were tasty and well cooked . Overall it was a very pleasant experience lovely restaurant very clean on a beautiful sunny day. Upon existing the restaurant we were very impressed with the kindness and professionalism of everyone working that day. Also the lady owner was actually near the entrance she very nicely spoke to us briefly with a smile and said our goodbyes. Overall my mum and I and the family are planning to visit again. Thank you Isabelle Liz and the team for this most amazing experience. Much Love Martha & Alejandro.β
βWent with my family (wife and three children aged 10, 14 & 16) for dinner. We ordered a couple of starters and prawn crackers between us, followed by 4 main courses and three portions of rice (two of my kids don't each much rice) and some soft drinks. Bill came to Β£90 including tip / optional service charge. The food was all very tasty, service was prompt and friendly; our water jug was refilled without us asking, and they were very accommodating about changing a starter (spring rolls) that's usually in 4 pieces into 5 pieces so we could each have one. Would definitely go again, but find somewhere else to park. We looked at the dessert menu but decided to drive to the seafront and buy ice creams instead.β
βHave passed by here for years and not found time to stop. Made time today and had an amazing birthday meal. Curry goat was amazing, my wife's pork chop was enormous, tender and beautifully cooked. My son's steak gorgeous and apparently the cheeseburger was the best my daughter has ever had. Fantastic staff too, so friendly and happy to answer any queries. Great local beers too. Great to see a small local place so busyβ
βLovely coffee and hot chocolate. One of the best breakfasts weβve ever had, not only does it look presentable, it tastes incredible. Clean and well decorated. Also a bonus that dogs are allowed in! Thank you :)β
βGreat choice of beers and friendly service in this small and welcoming pub with affordable prices. Worth a visit.β
βWhat a gem of a place for a lunchtime sandwich. The welcome was so lovely βΊοΈ all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Full gluten/lactose free menu with vegetarian options. Just a perfect place to take a break. Definitely our go to when in the area. Thank you.β
βBusy cafΓ© with so nice tarts βΌοΈβ
βSo glad we popped in here today. A proper pub, great friendly staff and a fantastic garden. Going back for the live music ASAP. Shame it's not my local but 30 miles would be a long walk home.β
βDelicious boba! Staff are lovely too. Treated me and my friend well. Got the classic milk oreo boba. Recommend!β
βQuickly becoming my favourite place to eat in Brighton. The food is incredible, not a bad dish on the menu. Itβs not too expensive and the staff are lovely. Itβs dog friendly, beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. Coffee on point too. Just trust me and go here, you wonβt be disappointed.β
βLovely salon which made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Great haircut from Nick who understood straight away what I wanted with minimal explanation. Even the tea was perfect! Will be back.β
βBeen using Stephan for close to 10 years now since moving to Brighton and itβs an amazing service every time but now in a much improved location. Always friendly, makes himself available at short notice and does a top job every single time. Thank you, Stephan!β
βI often plan to stop here as the staff are always great and the food is amazing. I have a Cumberland sausage with onion and mushroom in a soft bap. I'm going to ride for over an hour now and go there just for that! You won't be disappointed - its an easy recommendation Only negative is I prefer HP sauce to Daddies! Still won't stop me going there thoughβ
βExcellent food, drinks and service. Really nice ambience. Highly recommended.β
βWe booked my 10 year old daughter on for a cut and restyle, all I can say is all the staff and surrounding were perfect. My daughter was looked after so well and the hair cut and new style were exactly what she had asked for and wanted so we could not be more happy. We have been here a few times before with our daughter and every experience has been the same. As a dad sat with my daughter as her hair was cut I was also well looked after with coffee and biscuits which made the experience great for me too. Thanks again to all the staff and we will be back soon. I cannot recommend this salon enough and have tried all different salons in Worthing, but they are head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks Again Megan and Kevinβ
βOh my word - we popped in last night before the cinema for a bite to eat and wow wow wow. It was so delicious! We shared mushroom and truffle arancini balls which were so so tasty, as well as Sicilian hot dogs and cheesy chips. We also had a sweet treat each after - I hade a pistachio sfogliatelle and my hubby had a white chocolate puff and the whole lot was just absolutely delicious! We will be gong back asap! It was also lovely to sit just outside in the beautiful evening sunshine!β
βWhat a find! Pretty cafe, great atmosphere, coffee was delicious as was my hot chocolate! I had a tuna jacket which was divine and the side salad was a dish in itself, fresh and honestly one of nicest salads Iβve had. My partner had waffles which were delicious, great portions, well presented. Overall 10/10 Strong recommend Will be back very soon!β
βLove Golden Palace, always book for birthdays etc. great service, amazing food! Mouth watering! You need to book! But regardless recommendβ
βThis has been my regular barbershop for years, Andy gave me a top notch trim and cleaned up my beard perfectly couldnt be more pleased, worth every penny. Everyone here is quality, If you care about your trim this is the place to goβ
βFirst visit today with my daughter.... Wonderful place! Great staff, beautiful nails and very professional and attentive to detail! No worries if you forget your loyalty card as it's all done by computer! Definitely our new nail salon!!!!! Much better than all the others in Eastbourne..... Same as I used to get done in London but nicer staff! My daughter is thrilled with her gel polish manicure and hand massage! Thank you all very much Tom, Peter and the lovely lady!β
βThis is by far the best and most authentic Thai food I have experienced in the UK! My wife is half Thai and has lived there and even she was amazed at some of the dishes available here that we haven't found anywhere else except Thailand itself. Its a BYOB, which we didn't mind at all. There is a corkage fee but it wasn't over the top by any means. The staff were lovely and were very quick to accommodate anything we asked for, including things like providing small bowls so we could share a larger soup like a starter and other random requests. If you are a fan of Asian food or especially Thai food and can get over to this restaurant I cannot recommend it enough! The venue is small, however, so it's best to book in advance as there's no guarantee you could get a table otherwise.β
βThe food here is sooooo good. I visited recently with my family for breakfast on a day trip to Worthing. I had the all day breakfast and it was so yummy. The bread was especially good. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this cafe.β
βAmazing food, the Reuben sandwich is the perfect breakfast/brunch toastie! Great service with warm and welcoming staff! Also very dog friendly! Overall great experience :Dβ
βI have been coming to this hair salon since 2022 and I always have the best experience. Ingrid is amazing and thanks to her I have the best hair extensions. I started with keratin extensions and Ingrid recommended that I make the change to a weft instead. I am so impressed with the results and the weft blends seamlessly with my natural hair. My hair looks healthy, voluminous and is easy to manage. I highly recommend Fine to Fabulous and especially the weft extensions.β
βNice old school cafe . Sadly no "Poached" eggs for me. Also food was a little over fried up for me inc the mushrooms. Jane who runs the cafe on her own does an excellent job.β
