“A massive thank you for making my 60th last night so special (Nov 2nd, 2024). I've been going to this amazing pub since my 20's and more often in my mid 40's with my daughter and her crew. Good times were had & great memories were made. When asked what I wanted to do for my 60th, JB's was the obvious choice. I wasn't disappointed! This little pub hasn't changed in 40 years! Proper traditional pub. The staff are awesome! The barman even remembered me from 16/17 years ago! It was like 'going home'. Thank you to the staff and everyone, especially the new friends we made, for making my birthday so special! ❤️”

“Got the feeling that it had not been open long. A work in progress or perhaps it was just the time of year. A lovely place for families there was something for everyone. Well stocked garden centre and the staff were very helpful. My only criticism was the moss on parts of the outdoor paths which could prove a slip hazard. I didn't go in the cafe as it was half term and very busy.”

“Yum. Fantastic food for a reasonable price and lovely staff. The menu is extensive and has a surprisingly large amount of vegetarian options for a fry up diner. In short, if I could eat here every day for every meal, I would.”

“If you want to spend good quality time with your family in calm but still all the things available nearby, Lancing beach is really good option. I love this place as parking is really easy to find no lots of walking after parking you car . And after spending time on beach you can enjoy nice walk in big field with hot cup of coffee or ice-cream with your kids from the cafe spotted on the beach site. And thre is a park for kids and skating area as well.loved this place”

“Very agreeable place for breakfast, not been later in the day, but the the breakfast set up is good, fast and tasty. Took my parents and sister, friendly staff, cool view out the windows (you're at the end of the pier) and free parking on a Sunday. Nothing super special but worth the trip”

“If it's just a quick hour or so that you wish to kill, or a full day, then visit Mewsbrook Park & the Pedalo hire shack. Each hire session is 30 mins long & with the lake being quite large, that time goes very quickly. The chap that runs the pedalo hire is so polite friendly & helpful - not to mention chatty - you'll be hard pushed to drag yourself away after a half hour session. In terms of value, it's not bad either. It costs just £2.50 for a child & £3.50 for an adult. My family love coming to the park & the pedalo shack especially as there is a cafe (very good) & miniature railway in the park too. An easy 10/10 score.”

“What a lovely corner on a busy street. I this this was an amzing place for lebanese/ moroccan food. The meze platter was amazing and the lamb Tagine was hearty and homely. It was suprisingly cheap too. I think in such a busy street with tons of competition, this place is still a standout. The coffee was great too!”

“Super cute - I didn't expect to find good coffee in Seaford, but not only did I get a perfect silky latte, they also did an AMAZING chai. And the building was so atmospheric and cosy, I could see myself becoming a regular there if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit!”

“What a great little find! We stumbled upon IL Bistro while looking for somewhere nice to have breakfast, and it did not disappoint. The setting was lovely, and we were lucky enough to enjoy the Mediterranean weather while sitting out on the terrace. If I were being critical, the service was a little slow—but it was busy, so that’s understandable. We had two fabulous meals, and both Abe and his young apprentice were the perfect hosts. The sausages and bacon were of very good quality. Well worth seeking out while wandering the lanes!”

“I had the chicken shish at Nayeb Kebab House and it was honestly incredible. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked with so much flavour that you can taste the care that goes into it. The whole place has such a warm, welcoming feel, and the staff were genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets both the food and the atmosphere this right. An amazing experience all round. I’ll always be back.”

“I luckily found this place by pure chance and it was top notch food. Very generous portions and the wide variety of vegetables in the Dansak. Only let down was I like medium spicy like Jalfrezi and they were very mild. But very impressed not oily at all. I will definitely be ordering again.”

“Popped in for lunch after a lovely dog walk along the river. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We chose two courses from the lunch menu which was absolutely divine. I would recommend the food as it was first class. Will be coming again soon.”

“What a fun place to stumble upon whilst driving past. The staff dress up in cowboy outfits and the Halloween decor was really fun the kids loved it. Good food, kids enjoyed the pizza and the burgers were tasty. Refillable drinks is good too. It is on the pricier side.”

“Always a pleasure visiting Pablos and they’re always the first choice for dining out for special occasions. The food is always amazing with very generous portions so you always feel like you’re getting your moneys worth and to top it off the customer service is always top notch with attentive and friendly waiters/waitresses. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the toilets/tables are always clean and tidy.”

“Grabbed a cuppa tea it was £1.50! Perfect for a walk on the sea front to keep me warm. Coffee tasted nice, cappuccino was £3. The lady was really friendly. the cafe is a takeaway with 2 seats out the front. Also selling snacks, cold drinks, slushies and ice cream..”

“I came here during pride and the staff were amazing. So sweet and caring, everybody were in such great spirits and really welcomed in everybody and made them feel taken care of. The food was fresh and wonderfully crafted. I had the lucky catch which was calamari with fish & chips as well as mushy peas with a spin. I had some of their handcrafted nonalcoholic drinks. The passion fruit spritz & the ginger one were great. The alcoholic drinks looked great but I had to work later so we kept it PG. I enjoyed everything 10/10. They’re right by the beach as well so there was beautiful scenery all around.”

Will come back. 28/01/2024 Came back again today for lunch. Despite bring very busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The food is still Fantastic, very reasonably priced. Staff are excellent, very friendly and nice. Coffee is also very nice. Very much worth a visit.”

“Reserved space here for a birthday celebration and had a fantastic afternoon. A perfect Brighton pub, relaxed vibes, bright spaces, great music, nice Thai food menu, a really good beer selection including gluten free and alcohol free options on tap. Friendly and chilled staff add to the easy going but thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. It felt a really inclusive and friendly pub and was clearly popular with Brighton and Hove locals. Good for kids as well during the day.”
