“Popped in to this gorgeous little boutique yesterday afternoon desperately searching for an outfit for a family wedding. Meera greeted us with warmth and immediately clocked me. I am a full time Mum with very little body confidence but Meera made me feel like a film star. She understood my body shape and we found the perfect outfit. I can’t wait to go back and get some more pieces. Thank you SO much!”

“Lovely park to visit, dog and child friendly. There’s a playground for children and a large field for ball games. It’s also a beautiful spot to loop around for a walk or jog. There is also a cafe, never tried the cafe but I’ve heard good things.”

“If it's just a quick hour or so that you wish to kill, or a full day, then visit Mewsbrook Park & the Pedalo hire shack. Each hire session is 30 mins long & with the lake being quite large, that time goes very quickly. The chap that runs the pedalo hire is so polite friendly & helpful - not to mention chatty - you'll be hard pushed to drag yourself away after a half hour session. In terms of value, it's not bad either. It costs just £2.50 for a child & £3.50 for an adult. My family love coming to the park & the pedalo shack especially as there is a cafe (very good) & miniature railway in the park too. An easy 10/10 score.”

“This is a great local venue for great music, with a good selection of local beers on offer. The events diary keeps you coming back. The food is great and compared to other pubs in Hove….Its great value. The team there are lovely people, very welcoming. Any day of the week, it well worth stopping by to check it out.”

“We enjoyed a first class Christmas menu and service, eighteen of us on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was varied, we loved the choices of antipasti and the mains were good and plentiful. It is always nice to be offered a dessert that is something different and the Zuccotto was just that, and a large portion. We will be back along with those in our group who couldn't make it yesterday. The service was attentive but not too hurried and the restaurant was tastefully decorated. Thank you Al Duomo for a wonderful experience!”

“The Arabian eggs were incredible! The coffee is in a really big cup which is perfect for enjoying and savouring slowly!! Much better than a tiny coffee from some places. Great location and staff!”

“Hidden away, this gem of a rock bar is definitely one to visit. The bar area is fairly small, but they have an area upstairs that houses bands. Didn't have time to go up and have a watch, but sounded good. Drinks were cheap and the music was good. Next time I'm in the area will definitely be visiting again.”

“The Font is one of my favourite spots. The atmosphere is always chilled and welcoming, and the staff are brilliant. Harvey especially is an absolute star. He’s always friendly, on the ball and just makes the whole experience better. You can tell he really cares about what he does. Honestly can’t recommend this place enough. “Oh my, the food at The Walrus was AMAZING. We all had a Monday roast, there was a half lemon &thyme chicken, roast pork belly, and a trio roast which had the chicken, pork and a thick tender slice of beef. We thought it might be quiet being a Monday but was surprised by how busy it was at 6.30pm Beer was good too Definitely recommend”

“What an excellent pub! I only stumbled upon it after a hike. Brilliant selection of craft beers on draft and a couple of cask ales. Very nice beer garden below the chalk cliff. Very enjoyable chat with the friendly owner Dominic. I’ll be back!”

Other patrons were welcoming so you don't feel that you are an outsider if you are not a regular at the establishment.”

“Very agreeable place for breakfast, not been later in the day, but the the breakfast set up is good, fast and tasty. Took my parents and sister, friendly staff, cool view out the windows (you're at the end of the pier) and free parking on a Sunday. Nothing super special but worth the trip”
