The service is always warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is great both inside and out, with elevated views of the beach, the Steyne, and Brighton in the distance, which makes it especially nice in the summer. “I popped in today for a quick shandy as the weather was very nice and sunny over looking the river ouse its was my first time at The Ark next time I visit i'll have something to eat with my partner so i can't comment on the food at this time! Friendly Staff and nice atmosphere setting outside disabled friendly with ramp for wheelchairs. There is a car park for the Ark but remember to read the car park sign before entering! “Everything was very good. It was easy to check in, the room was clean and fresh, so were the beds and towels. We had a TV, tea and coffee facilities, a good shower, also an extra heater if it was chilly and even a hair dryer. It was very good value for money and the lady who met us on arrival was very friendly. The location was excellent we had a coffee shop and a pub plus lots of shops at one end of the street and a five minute walk to the beech at the other end. There was lots of independent eateries and bars within a short walk. We were also only about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the Royal Pavilion and the Museum or the Lanes and the shops. It was also on a very good bus route.”

“Lovely pub, must admit that I wasn't blown away by the roast I had but the service and atmosphere was excellent. They also have a huge back garden which was brilliant for letting the kids blow off steam. Would likely return but to try something else on the menu ☺️”

“Lovely cafe with great ambience and atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and nice. It got a warm welcoming vibe and feels like a family and friendly place where everyone knows everyone. The coffees are excellent same as italian coffees strong and flavoured. Really good quality coffees. They have a variety of food like pastries cooked fresh in store, cakes and toasties paninis. It got outdoor seating and sliding windows which gives a fresh breeze while enjoying coffee from indoors and next to the sea and close to all the shopping stores and high street.”

“Aways something happening. In a good way and in a bad way. Seen fighting, robbery and other unpleasant things. Twice this year I have had people trying to rob me. Seen police vans darting across the green many times . Plus please be aware of drug needles on the grass, bushes and toilets. On a good day it's the best park in Brighton and Hove but on a bad day, it can be a nightmare. But still by a long way the best place to chill in Brighton.”

“Been here a couple of times and the food is always fab. They have redecorated since we were last here and it looks great. Service is good and staff really nice and chatty. Such good value on the set menus. We stay in the hotel across from it each year and so ideal as we prefer Asian to pub food. Will be back next year. Only downside on this visit was that it closed at 7pm which meant eating earlier than we normally would. I guess out of season times.”

“Fantastic service from the amazing staff, especially the bar/reception teams. I requested a room with easy access and they accommodated me in room 5, which had (appart from 1 small step) level access. Lovely bar and reasonably priced drinks, I had the nachos which were outstanding. A few small gripes: They do not supply any toiletries. The TV is quite small. Bar closes at 22:00. Otherwise, flawless and highly recommended.”

“Brazilian BBQ served on swords endlessly along with a side bar of other foods from meatballs, lasagne, onion rings and chips. Great drink selection, had a sweet strawberry lemonade that hit the spot just right. Overall atmosphere was very chill, staff super friendly however the red/green card they give you was kinda small so if you go make sure it's visible”

“Nikki and the team were brilliant. We had a large group and with the pre orders given to them a couple of days prior everyone's food came out hot and in great time. Staff here are always really nice and the kids get to play in the park, even with the cold weather. Great lunch catch up with the family and we will definitely be coming again. They were also brilliant when we had some car issues and went above and beyond to help us out. Thanks guys.”

“Just got back from a dy trip to dieppe. Must say the staff at the terminal were fantastic always up for a laugh even at 4am. The crossing was great. I had a cooked breakfast on route. I found it a very comfortable ferry, a great duty-free choice, and staff were friendly on both outbound and return. All in all, great day all round and dieppe is a lovely town to visit for a change of scenery. Free parking for foot passenger at gravel car park on the right as you drive toward the terminal at newhaven.”
