“I had an issue where payment was taken from my card but the till crashed and made it look like I hadn't paid, so I had to pay again. They assured me the amount was just pending and it would be available in my account. This wasn't the case, and the money had been taken twice. When I rang to speak to a manager today, she went out of her way to investigate for me, despite this being a fairly regular issue, and not only worked out that I was owed a refund, but also gave a gift as an apology. Patient, calm and helpful. Thank you all so much (though I may use cash next time haha!)”

“To the best of my knowledge it the largest Tesco I have been to. My son & daughter-in-law were moving to their new place. They needed a few things besides a food shop. We found everything we needed. I probably did a big junk of daily quota of steps.”

“My 5 star review is solely for this branch only and not Co-op in general! Otherwise it would be 3 stars. I found out they do money off if you're a member of Co-op so I down loaded the app and signed up in store to get my cat food for £3.50... anyway turns out I couldn't use any of the app discounts in store but the BEST man behind the till must've felt sorry for me because he used his discount card on my shopping because I was misled by the app. Such a nice chap! The staff here are really friendly and in the past few years when I've got too good to go bags... you get TONNES of stuff that's actually decent.”

Just so impressed with the cleanliness every time I go in, would be so easy to let a city centre store fall into disrepair but the staff take a lot of effort to keep this shop open, friendly, inviting & brilliantly stocked. “Pay your workers properly. I overheard a shelf stacker saying they would be skipping lunch as they have £4.50 to last them a week. This is unacceptable and I’m tired of exploitative companies like Tesco who while providing jobs are clearly not providing adequate wages.”

“Great service this week - I wanted to find the best price for items I was purchasing and the lady on the till went over and above to make sure I had the best offers. Yes there can be the occasional queue but I’d say on the whole it’s invaluable to have in our town.”

It's a lovely store with friendly staff who definitely don't get paid enough to put up with some of the behaviour they have to put up with! Never had a problem there at all, sometimes the queue is a bit long but that's life isn't it?”
