“Went here after 5 days at the green gathering festival at chepstow race course. We were starving and at the start of a 4 hour drive, the food was reasonably priced good portions and I was given gluten free toast with m breakfast. Which was a bonus.”

“We live just around the corner from Naan & Co. This is our first visit since the restaurant changed hands four months ago and it is fantastic. We are overjoyed to have a top quality Indian restaurant nearby. Everything has been transformed. The interior is excellent with beautiful flooring, lighting, tables and seating. The food is first class: well presented and delicious. And the family who own the restaurant are all lovely: friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back very soon.”

“Mother Hen is a great asset to the village of Wrington. The welcome is warm, the food is great, and the ice cream superb. As an ex-cyclist, I can confirm that my kind can sniff out a good cake and coffee stop like bloodhounds. Anywhere they congregate is a sign of a good stop. I can also confirm that cyclists are frequent visitors here—testament to this little village jewel!”

“Lovely meal! We went for lunch and enjoyed the Saturday Lunch set menu which was great value. The wine and selection of Wiper & True beers was also excellent.”

“It's hard not to love this place. It's very charming, the menu changes on a daily basis, the quality of the cooking is good, it has interesting dishes on the menu including lots of options for those who are vegetarians and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our lunch although not everything was absolutely perfect. The star dish was the chicken thighs with gnocchi, it was tasty and well balanced. The mussels were excellent, high quality ingredient which was perfectly cooked and well seasoned but needed something else to go with it, like chips or a good sourdough that can soak up the lovely sauce. The trout was lovely but came on a bed of salad that wasn't as good as the fish. There were no side dishes on the menu which was a shame. We will definitely return to try again on another day and a different menu. The locals love this place and I can understand why.”

“Food in the cafe is excellent and fresh you can taste the difference. it is on a working farm but please do not let this out you off, when the owners have spoken to you and made you feel at home and serve you your food you will not regret it. There is also a shop which sells local produce and a meat counter. The pie’s they make on site and are amazing you have to try. We stock up and take some home with us each time we visit the area. The owners are really friendly and welcoming we holiday here once a year and no matter which part we are in we will make the drive to Priddy Farm.”

“This place is always impressive. You can tell they enjoy making food and serving it. Salad and pastas were really good. Pizza was cooked perfectly and my son really enjoyed his burger and desert. Small little place hidden away in depths of Horfield. Worth a visit.”

“In one of the private rooms for a 14 person event. Room was perfect, it was a Christmas meal and felt super cosy and tucked away from the rest of the pub. Decor was nice. “Came today with my family in a large group for the breakfast with santa experience! the children absolutely loved every minute including the adults. The atmosphere was christmassy, the staff was great and food was delicious! We will definitely be making this a new family tradition as it was so magical, santa and his elf helper were so warm and welcoming they really went above and beyond to cater for our family as large group (7 children & 10 adults) they were so patient and allowed us to take lots of lovely group family photos in our invidiual families and allowed us all in the room so all parents/grandparents were able to see the joy on the children's faces! thank you harvester for a fantastic family christmas experience!! ❤️❤️”

“Went in for a pint and to watch the football while my dog was in the groomers was abit nervous but everyone was really friendly and welcoming. After the groomers I had a blow out (lucky there was a garage to change my tyre next to the pub) so went back in with my dog and there was more people in there but everyone was really nice. the barmaid was especially nice and kept filling up a bowl of water for my dog even gave my dog a treat. Will 100% go back and recommend to my friends. Thank you guys!”
