Be Weird Be Wild Be Wonderful Play Hub

    ★★★★☆ 4.7
    Closed

“What a wonderful place for little ones to have fun! Today was our first session at the play hub and we loved it! I have a two year old, but it’s suitable for younger babies and toddlers alike. Such a lovely, open and safe space for little ones to play freely with lots of different sensory bits and pieces as well as a little sandpit, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself! Hot drinks are served in spill proof flasks, which is perfect keeping the little ones safe and there’s a great menu for little ones, with lots of options to choose from for a lovely little lunch! Also a lovely selection for the adults too! I will definitely return for another play session in the future!”

“What an incredible visit to the John Wesley Museum! So powerful to walk through the history and realise just how far the Methodist movement has come. The space is beautifully preserved and really brings his story to life. It’s interactive, thoughtful, and actually great for kids too a brilliant way to engage all ages in such a meaningful legacy. Truly inspiring.”

“We booked to stay here as we were attending a wedding at Naas Court Farm. The rooms had everything we needed for a short stay and were exceptionally clean on arrival. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with fresh coffee and orange juice on the table for us and the service was perfect. Our experience was so good, we are planning a second visit to try their afternoon cream tea.”

“Fantastic park with a variety of things to do, playground, splash pad, skate park, row boats, walking paths, and plenty of grassy area to kick a ball around. Great place for a picnic and bonus: if you are short on time to prepare at home, Morrison's grocery is right across the street. There's also a cafe with drinks and a small selection of snacks inside the park. Only downside is there are only about 8-10 parking spots inside the park, but there's free street parking up the hill from the park, so it's not too difficult to get a spot. I arrived mid/late afternoon on a Wednesday.”

“Went on Sunday morning to nurse my hangover and I'm so glad I did, I had the veggie breakfast and it was delicious. Proper filling, yummy dish and the staff were all lovely. I felt 50p for a slice of toast was maybe a bit cheeky but I can't really complain as it's an independent restaurant and the cossie livs init. This will end up being my go to weekend spot I'm sure.”

“We love having breakfast or brunch here as it's one of our favourite breakfast places in our neighbourhood. Lots of selections on the menu, tasty food, and good coffee choices. It can get very busy on weekends, a testament on how popular and well-liked this place is. Friendly and professional staff with special mention to Mo who accommodated our small request. Overall, a lovely weekend experience.”

“Came here for breakfast but the whole menu is available all day! Delicious food, fresh and good portions. The flavours were very well balanced and interesting. Lovely staff. There is an indoor area and also a covered outdoor area. Would definitely recommend. We came on a Sunday around 10am and it was moderately busy so we we were seated straight away but within 20 minutes the pace picked up a lot and there was a queue outside so definitely a popular place for breakfast/brunch!”

“A great spot for brunch! The café is spacious with beautifully designed interiors. I had the Royale Stack, and the portion was satisfying. The dish was well-seasoned and balanced with some fresh greens. The pancakes were soft with a slight chew, and had a lovely milky flavor. Really enjoyed both the food and the coffee!”

    Coffee Cup

    ★★★★☆ 4.6

“Being somewhat new to the area, I’ve been on the hunt for a nice spot to have a veggie breakfast. There isn’t a huge amount of information online so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The young girls on the front of house are always cheerful and happy to greet you, as well as thank you when you leave. In terms of breakfast quality, coffee cup is definitely one of the best (if not the best!) in the local area. The same can be said for value for money. £6.49 for a veggie breakfast, with a cup of tea/coffee - what an absolute bargain that trumps the other cafes around here. Usually us vegetarians don’t get a lot of choice, but I was so pleased with the variety of choices I had. There is a choice of 2 types of veggie sausage which I don’t really see, ever. Choice of tomatoes, beans, fried bread and toast as well. The veggie breakfast doesn’t come with hashbrowns, but they aren’t missed as the breakfast portion is already quite large. They can be added for 90p if desired. Beans are very good quality, not the watery type many establishments have and the toast is thick and well buttered. Lastly, strong teabags! You won’t find a weak cuppa here. Overall I can’t recommend enough, having tried other cafes local to this one, I only come to coffee cup now!”
