“Very confused as this was originally a coffee house but when we found out they do Japanese food in the evening, we thought we'd give it a go! Food was delicious...we ordered takoyaki, battered crab claws and squid, eel with rice, a beef stir fry with rice and selection of mochi ice cream. All of it was delicious and had a reasonable price. Staff was friendly and accommodating too :)”

“Absolutely loved this facility. We went for a day out with some of the grandchildren, to a small but nice foodie event. The location is easy to find, easy to park with great facilities. We did find the adventure playground, not my words my eldest grandson, and the 3 of them had a blast. The play area is probably one of the best for kids of all ages we have ever been to. Slides, climbing, zip wire, sand pits, bounce trampoline to name just a few. Would have been great to have a few more seats around but I’m not picking. So Location is superb, clean with good facilities, a little shop on arrival then a beautiful walk, perfect on a hot day with all the shade around. Well done and see you soon.”

Update:2021 The place has been refurbished and the food is as great as ever. Managed well during the pandemic and and still as vibrant and energised as ever. A real microcosm of Easton. Can get busy on Fridays in particular.”

“Lovely place for lunch, super warm welcome and friendly staff. The place was spotless (this includes the all important loo), the loos are upstairs and there is another with disabled access on the lower floor. We popped in for a spot of lunch today, I wanted Westons Vintage Cider but they were all out so I had a hot chocolate, my wife had Elderflower crush. For food we had a Twisted Chicken Club and the Mediterranean Mezze, they were both very nice and I for one will certainly be having the Mezze again when we re-visit in two weeks time. We got a table right away at about 1230 but soon after it started getting busy although I never saw anyone unable to get a table. There are two levels and an outside roof terrace which looked good (weather permitting). Keep up the good work people, we'll see you again soon.”

“Impero Lounge is right on the High Street in the heart of Portishead, perfect to stop in before a jaunt around the harbour. They’re on a corner with huge floor-to-ceiling windows (that open right up) wrapped around two sides, flooding the vaulted interiors with light. There’s a lovely terrace out the front too, perfect for watching the world go by. They’ve a fantastic range of food and drinks (including full kids, gluten-free and vegan menus) served in this relaxed, welcoming space. Look out for their mural celebrating Portishead’s old power station and lighthouse. Which is apt, as they’re a bit of a powerhouse and a shining beacon for the hungry and thirsty people of Portishead.”

“We had such a brilliant evening at Veeno Bristol! The wine tasting experience was fantastic from start to finish — really well thought out, relaxed, and fun. The wines were all delicious (the dessert wine was a standout!) and perfectly paired with the nibbles and sharing boards. A special mention has to go to Jake, who absolutely made the evening. He was so knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. He struck the perfect balance between informative and laid-back, making everyone feel comfortable whether you’re a wine novice or a bit of an enthusiast. It’s such a lovely atmosphere — cosy, authentic, and a great spot for a date night or something a bit different with friends. Couldn’t recommend it enough, and we’ll definitely be back!”
