“Came in here with two Sons for cheesy chips. Landlady was great with my kids, and food was good. Cider very nice. Ideal to have a local pub that's so welcoming”
“I am shocked at how few people were in The Place. Bar staff are very polite and friendly. Prices are excellent. Food! Excellent! Proper cheese on a pizza. Fishfinger sized slabs of meat in the cowpie, which all fell apart beautifully! Carvery was very generous with meat and was all in all wonderful. Also, dog friendly throughout is very convenient! Would recommend!”
“ANTIX !!!! Come on it’s the place to be. Never a dull moment, simply pleasure . Music is up to date and actually trendy (with a few seasonal tings ) and the drinks OMG . Amazing. You must try their cocktails ! But the main thing about Antix is how hospitable they are ! Bar man and bouncers alike ❤️ Love you Antix forever and always”
“Booked a table at the Yeoman and received a booking email. When I got to the pub, no table was reserved for me; however, it was busy, so they said I could pick a window table in the lower area of the pub. The food was amazing and delivered fast to use and Tom was nice. I will be returning!”
“Good place for a nice drink. Land lady is very courteous n atmosphere is nice.”
“Breakfast - £9.99 for self-serve all you can eat and kids eat free. What's not to like? Ate here Saturday 8th April. The food was good, especially for a breakfast buffet. Decent quality with a good, herby taste to the sausage. All.of the food was hot, and even the scrambled eggs were decently cooked - hard to do when they have to stay under the lights. Good selection at the continental section or crumpets, oven-bottom muffins, bread, American pancakes, blueberry muffins / cup cakes, croissants, pain-aux-chocolat. The pastries were nicely flaky.and tasted good. Plenty of choice for cereals and fruits, including fruit salad or fresh whole fruits. Tea, including speciality teas and a bean-to-cup coffee machine all.included in the price. The place was clean, and the staff friendly. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying their breakfast although it wasn't packed. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Unfortunately I can't say much about rooms or location, as I only entered the establishment twice this week for a course I was talking. But what i can tell you is based off of the ground floor, it Is a very nice building. A lot of charm, character and style you don't really get much of nowadays. The staff were smashing too! I may have briefly conversed with about 7 of the staff between both days. Each one as kind, friendly and well mannered as the next. One gentleman in particular, really helped a lot of us out in my course when we needed to print things off and stuff. From being in similar positions myself at work I can appreciate it may have been a pain but he was very respectful and assisted everyone. It is a shame I did not have the pleasure of attending the hotel as a room guest, as I expect I would have had a nice time. But if I am in the area again I will be sure to check it out.”
“If you go here expecting Michelin Star quality food or service you will be bitterly disappointed, it doesn’t pretend to offer that either, having said that it isn’t a cheap fast food place. It does exactly what it says on the tin! Reasonable food for a reasonable price, will they forget a few things and possibly make a couple of mistakes? More than likely! But if you want a quick pit stop for a decent meal then you can’t go far wrong. The fixtures, fittings and decoration of the bar, restaurant and toilets are in desperate need of a refurb and money does need to be invested into these areas of the property to improve the customer experience. I can’t comment on the hotel side of the business as I didn’t visit it.”
“Came here for my daughter's quincenera! had a lovely time. She didn't get in which is l a shme (because she is 15 - even though her dance was very good) Overall lovely experience. bin voyager”

“Went with a friend for breakfast today. What a wonderful treat. Opted for the full breakfast option and whilst we waited we had cereal and fruit. Food was absolutely delicious and our lovely waitress Gwen brought me my GF toast with it. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and will definitely be back again.”
“Came with a friend for a meal. Absolutely amazing service, especially as I have a nut allergy. They walked me through the menu step by step, and when the food arrived, they even bought me separate cutlery, so I knew there was no cross contamination. Food was fantastic, and so was the atmosphere and staff. Thank you for a pleasant evening. Jess”
“Great night with amazing music. Best venue in bristol if you are looking for an upmarket, special night out. Staff were attentive and friendly would recommended to anyone looking for a good night out in Bristol!”
“My friend and I were visiting Bristol and stopped here for breakfast one day. We loved it so much that we went there for breakfast the following day too! Great choice of food, reasonable prices, best garlic butter mushrooms I've had in ages, cool inside when it was baking hot outside, quick service, can order at the table on an app.”
“Very nice food and lovely friendly staff especially Issac thank you for having a smile and welcoming us when we walked in and also checking on us through out”
“We had a brilliant night here. Staff were excellent behind the bar and super friendly apart from one who looked like she didnt want to be there and grunted at me over the bar, but im going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was having a bad day, although slap a face on and dont take it out on me! Bouncers were fab. Several of us women had an incident on the dancefloor with another male customer, i spoke to a bouncer who was super friendly, understanding and made sure we all felt safe whilst professionally dealing with the incident. Drinks were relatively cheap. The building inside was a really spacious awesome looking venue (old cinema/theatre maybe?) Anyway, first time out in yeovil, this place is not the pit i expected from reading other reviews!”
“Newly rebranded and revamped chasers is always a fab night out. Friendly staff, safe and no trouble. Had a great night dancing without having to venture to town!”
“ZeroZero is an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with an electric atmosphere and stylish decor that sets the perfect tone for the night. The music selection is top-notch, with talented DJs keeping the dance floor alive with an enticing mix of tunes that cater to diverse musical preferences. The staff at ZeroZero are not only professional but also friendly and attentive, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and taken care of throughout the night. The bar offers a wide array of delicious drinks, and the bartenders have an impressive repertoire of cocktail-making skills that elevate the overall experience. The venue itself is spacious and well-designed, providing plenty of room to dance and mingle. Whether you're looking for a lively night out with friends or a special event to celebrate, Club ZeroZero delivers an unforgettable and immersive nightlife experience. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a fantastic night on the town.”
“best club i’ve been to by far. staff are all really friendly and helpful and there’s always a bouncer around if you need help with anything. drinks are priced reasonably and the atmosphere is great. there is also an event for everyone no matter what type of music you like. will definitely be going back”
“Went to the stand up comedy show. So good. Host Danni Johns was amazing and witty and all the 3 acts were hilarious. Deffo will come back.”
“Listen when I want yummy crappy food. I don't want to pay the world for it. Other local take aways keep putting the price up! When the helpful people at Radstock Charcoal Grill. Keep prices reasonable. It can be a bit hard to park sometimes. But that's it.”
“This is lovely pub restro in the beautiful Castle Combe and a perfect stop for a hot meal. There are only two places to eat one is the White House. We visited castle Combe on a bank holiday weekend (assuming it will be less crowded). The white hart still was very busy but they have a lot of tables and plenty of places to seat. The queue to order was long. And as they were short staffed on the bank holiday, food took a little longer to come. But no complains as the sandwiches we ordered were delicious. I don’t remember when was the last time we had such yumm sandwiches. Loved it. Wait worth a while.”
“Went there on a bit of a whim, me and my friends are from Cardiff and had no idea where to go but honestly ended up having a class night. Small place but enough room to dance, okay priced drinks and some good tunes. Bouncers were also top lads very nice people. Will be going back for another iconic night.”
