“Stayed here for three nights before moving closer to Oxford. Wished we had spent all of our time in this beautiful country establishment. The owners and their wonderful team were beyond wonderful. Service was impeccable and the rooms were beautifully presented and comfortable. Meals were absolutely delicious and the pub was everything you expect of an ancient country inn, fireplace, fabulous bar, anda warm and friendly atmosphere. This place was the stand out highlight of our UK holiday”

“Amazing fresh pizza and fab gluten free options. Friendly staff and lovely buzzing atmosphere. We sat outside - outdoor seating is on the main road but lovely to people watch. Would definitely recommend lunch deal - small pizza and dip for £9.”

“Went here for my birthday and made good use of the mid week set menu deal, 3 courses for £23, which was definitely great value as the food was high quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also really nice, even for an early evening sitting! Would come again for sure.”

“Pretty decent food for a good price, I had a milkshake and burger. The chips were fantastic and so was the milkshake! The burger was decent too. The main takeaway from eating here was the atmosphere was really quite nice in my opinion. It was busy and the decor was awesome! The service was decent but the kitchen is quite small so food did take some time to come out. But if your not in a rush its worth a visit.”

“The service was great! Had lovely conversation with the chef who is from Barcelona, and the service staff who is also Spanish! We ordered the steak paella and it was delightful! Full of flavours of the beef and various spices that unfold as you bite into the rice! The rice was nice and crisp and flavourful till the last bite! You can tell that the chef loves to cook and he checked in on us a lot! The croquette was really crispy and rich. The octopus was a nice complexity of flavour. From the sweetness of the octopus, to the punch of garlic sauce and the earthiness of the mash! A great combination altogether! The atmosphere was really nice! Fit for a cosy intimate wedding”

“Absolutely would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is stunning - don't let the exterior fool you, as it's gorgeous inside. The staff are lovely, and the food is truly amazing. Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues: the steps down to the restaurant are quite steep. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!”

“The way food should be!! Just such an amazing lunch on our second and equally amazing visit. The menu was varied and interesting and really shows what plant based cuisine can be. The sourdough ice cream was interesting, not my personal preference, but really enjoyed getting to try it. Thanks all Also the bread is the best around!!”

“Lovely little pub in a sleepy village on the outskirts of Bath. My partner and I stayed for one night and it felt really homely and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive and the room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The bed was so comfy too! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.”

“Years since I have been here. Saturday lunch, fish and chunky chips delicious, however the chips needed to be cooked longer. Salmon anc gnocchi, perfect. Salmon fish cakes perfect. Portion sizes were also not too big or too small. We will be back.”

“Wow Wow Wow. Fantastic! We were in the Bath for the weekend and thought we'd try Pintxo out as we'd walked past before on previous visits and we hadn't booked any food for the weekend - not knowing what to expect from the Christmas markets. On arrival we spent around 15 mins sat at the bar waiting for a table (soaking in the top notch atmosphere) after hanging our coats up, ordered our drinks and were promptly seated once a table became available. The food was simply fantastic, it was soooo tasty! The Deep Fried Aubergines were out of this world, the portions were great and the staff were very friendly and very attentive to clear room when we had finished plates. We will certainly be back on our next visit to Bath, one of the best Tapas we've had outside of Spain (and even including!).”

“An Absolutely Perfect Wedding Day at The Crown at Kelston! We recently had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Crown at Kelston, and we can genuinely say it was the most perfect day imaginable, largely thanks to the incredible team there. From our very first contact, we dealt with Neve, who was absolutely brilliant. Neve made the planning process seamless and stress-free. In the lead-up to the wedding, everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn't have to think about a single thing on the day itself – a true gift for any couple! Neve even coordinated directly with our florist, two musicians, the stretch tent company, and our cake supplier on the morning of the wedding, ensuring all suppliers were perfectly in sync without us lifting a finger. Whatever our request, big or small, nothing was ever an issue for Neve and the team. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked effortlessly from start to finish. Their attentiveness, efficiency, and friendly demeanour were remarkable, ensuring all our guests were well looked after and the celebration flowed beautifully. And we must mention, the food was absolutely amazing – a real highlight that all our guests raved about! The atmosphere was exactly what we dreamed of, and every detail was handled with precision and care. We cannot recommend The Crown highly enough for any event, especially a wedding. If you're looking for a venue where you can relax and truly enjoy your special day, knowing everything is in expert hands, look no further! “Ate Sunday lunch here today. Absolutely lovely. The lamb was superb and the nut roast was one of the best I’ve tasted. The veg were cooked to perfection and the red cabbage was delicious. Very good service and the live piano was delightful. I cannot fault anything. Will definitely eat here again.”

“We tried the Langton for the first time and it definitely won’t be the last. The staff were so incredibly nice and welcoming to us and our 2 corgis. All the staff gave the dogs so much love. We loved sitting in the back beer garden, the dogs loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the sun. We also saw that they had a darts board, something we are excited to use in the future! We tried their Friday special, 3 for £15 light bites and were blown away by how big the serving sizes were, it was plenty of food for 2. We tried the wings, jalapeño bites and cheese fries, so delicious! We will be back to try the halloumi sticks and pigs in a blanket in the future. Thanks for the great evening!”

“Another great find in Bristol. We had a warm welcome and spoke with Amir, the owner, who was very passionate about the restaurant and its menu. We ordered the Tawa Platter which was for 2-3 people but could easily have fed four so we took quite a bit home. Divine lamb chops, delicious spicy kebabs, succulent chicken tikka and loads more, not to mention the large family naan. On our list for a revisit!”
