“We live just around the corner from Naan & Co. This is our first visit since the restaurant changed hands four months ago and it is fantastic. We are overjoyed to have a top quality Indian restaurant nearby. Everything has been transformed. The interior is excellent with beautiful flooring, lighting, tables and seating. The food is first class: well presented and delicious. And the family who own the restaurant are all lovely: friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back very soon.”

“Amazing customer service. Didn’t pressure us at all, just let us wander around until we asked questions. Ended up buying a sofa and we are coming back to buy a sofa bed next week. The guy (didn’t get your name sorry) was very good, knew everything and didn’t push at all for anything. Just seemed quite genuine which was refreshing.”

“In August this year, I visited Hobbs on Milsom Street to buy a smart black dress for my Father's funeral ( having failed to find anything but flimsy summer dresses elsewhere on the High Street!) The reason for this review is not for the clothes (we know Hobbs clothes are well-made and fit great) but for the service I received, especially at such a sad time. Michele was wonderful - such a kind lady, willing to help, advise, fetch other options and just listen. She made me feel like I was her only customer that morning, with none of the 'hard sell' you might get elsewhere. I felt smart at the funeral, that I did my Dad proud. I told the funeral guests the story behind my dress, and the wonderful Michele, when they complimented my dress. Thank you!”

This is comfortably the best dining experience I have had recently, the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was delicious in every bite, the wine list was varied and interesting, and the explanations given for each dish had you enjoying the food before you even ate it. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you are here for a special occasion.”

“I visited Loaf Café in Bristol and had such a lovely experience in Bristol. The service was excellent the waitress with red hair was especially kind and attentive, really making sure everything was just right. “We had a wonderful 2 night stay at your hotel. Hotel was great, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Location was great. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive which every bus went into city centre. Thank you to all the staff.”

“There was definitely an olde feel to this pub as we walked in, ducking heads as advised to avoid the low entrance and stepping into a comfortable and pleasant environment. It was full for a lunchtime, always a good sign. We were pointed to a board full of daily special dishes and another board showing the selection of pies before being taken to our table. The menu had a good range of options, including a number of vegetarian and fish dishes, and some pub favourites (I understand the liver and bacon is very popular!). Service was friendly and not too slow, although we didn’t feel rushed either. The food we ordered was excellent and there was plenty of it, so much so we couldn’t manage dessert, which was a shame as they looked lovely too. We will definitely be returning.”

“This is not a house! And it is not in trowbridge! But it's a lovely place to spend your eves! With no food to cook it does what a pub does best! Tasty drinks at tasty prices! You're going to find free pool! A free jukebox and very funny (albeit very very slightly racist) people! Sure it doesn't look incredible from the outside or the inside. But you're going to get a type of fun that expensive hipster bars just will not offer you!!”

“We have always wanted to try this pub, as we have lived in Bath for over a year now. We came in Saturday and asked about their Sunday roast, and how the cauliflower cheese was done. Daniel said “I’ll show you” he then went into the kitchen and made his home made Yorkshire pudding and a pot of cauliflower cheese, as a taster. This was amazing, so we came back for the roast on Sunday and wasn’t disappointed the size of the plate and food was fantastic. They also put the Women’s Rugby on for us, which was a bonus. Lovely place, with friendly staff and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience.”

“It was our second visit and we went to celebrate my wife's birthday. We tried their afternoon tea which was delicious but nothing extraordinary. Sandwiches were soft, fresh and delicious , but the Scone was basic. Scone was a bit tough and didn't taste fresh. From my experience I didn't find their afternoon tea much different than M&S or Patisserie Valerie. It's bit overpriced if you compare with other places. Overall service and atmosphere was great. We really enjoyed it and definitely be back again but not for afternoon tea this time.”

The also have some brilliant bathroom areas too. if you are in the market I would definitely make the effort to visit them and talk to these people. they are very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Exceptional service and advice is worthy of note. Friday 5 September looking for advice and recommendations for fastening a towel radiator to a plaster board wall. Unfortunately I did not note the guys name but what an ambassador for your business. He knew the product ranges, knew how to relate to customers and was an excellent communicator. Really impressed.”

“Had a great stay here, the location was amazing and the staff are really friendly. Room was small but clean/comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but what do you expect from a grade ll listed Georgian building! Be aware bath has a large seagull population and you will here there wherever you are. We found them hilarious as they sounded like they were all chatting with even names one Steven!”
