“We received excellent care and treatment for our senior dog, Ollie. We were able to book same day appointments and he received the best care from Dr Lorenzo. Highly recommend”
“Took our dog for annual boosters, they gave her a check and she was fine. I recommend the monthly plan for checkups and boosters”
“Just switched vets and already I couldn’t be happier. From the first phone call to the visit the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. We feel very lucky to have joined this team of lovely people.”
“Took our Westie pup for registration check up. As first time owners in our family (though parents have dogs) we were not sure what to expect. The team were very welcoming and friendly. Our vet Rachel was super knowledgable and thorough, and gave us great advice. I’m sure we’ll have many more good things to say over the coming years.”
“A very welcoming and engaging Veterinary practice. Staff always helpful and accomodating where and when they can. They go over and above always”
“Our cats had their annual boosters and we went to the new Caerphilly Vet Practice in Castle View. What an amazing facility. It is modern, clean and well designed. It started with a warm welcome on reception from Sue and Tracy and then there was a special cat waiting area to help them feel safe. Lucy the vet treated our cats like they were her own and we felt they were in safe hands. We would recommend Caerphilly Vets.”
“Thank you everyone at Vale in Newport. Always care for our Winnie amazingly. Very friendly and no hidden costs. The VIP scheme they have for dogs certainly pays for itself and saves you money.”
“I can't thank the staff here enough. We called in desperate need of an urgent appointment for our 8 month old french bulldog Martha-May. The reception staff were extremely helpful and very kindly booked us in straight away. From start to finish, the veterinary team was extremely attentive to Martha-May and could not do enough for her and us. All staff provided a professional and friendly service. We can not recommend the PDSA enough, and I would kindly ask for people to donate any old blankets or towels you may have as they are always in need of these items. Once again, thank you to all the staff of the PDSA cardiff.”
“This was our 1st time of going here with our new puppy. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by really lovely friendly staff, who went out of their way for us, to make us & our puppy feel welcome & at ease. The vet was really nice. She explained everything to us & answered any questions we had. She was so good with our puppy. She put us all at ease practically straight away. We're even now going to be taking our older dog here as well. We would definitely recommend them to anyone & everyone, for all your pet needs. You won't be disappointed. We cannot praise them enough.”
“Excellent Vets, I have been with them for 10 years and have never been disappointed. The nurses and receptionists are always polite, friendly, and helpful, typical bubbly valley girls ( I'm English, for my sins, lol ). I always get a quick appointment. Would highly recommend.”
“I’ve used this practice before for emergency out of hours treatment and they have always been wonderful. Two years ago they saved my cats life and I’m forever grateful to them. Two days ago I had to rush my boy back in at night there and sadly he didn’t make it. My partner and I were deeply traumatised but the staff were all brilliant, kind, compassionate and caring. I couldn’t have asked for better people around me during this very difficult time. From the receptionist to the assistant vet nurses and special mention to head vet Jon, thank you sincerely for making one of life’s difficult moments easier to bear because of your care and thoughtfulness. Thank you to nurse Liane for taking paw prints and fur of my boy so I can remember him. Please continue your exceptional care and genuine love of animals so other pet parents in similar circumstances also feel so cared for.”
“Absolutely lovely vets! Treated my puppy like a baby! Excellent service and very kind! Thanks”
“We got an emergency appointment on a Saturday after not long moving to the area when other local vets had turned us away. The vet was really good with our dog and the staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“My cat was registered with Beaconsfield Veterinary Clinic for most of his life. When he hurt his eye & developed an eye ulcer, their care & advice was first rate. The staff are compassionate & caring towards pets & owners. When my precious little cat got old, he attended several senior Cat Clinics & they were quick to identify health problems & offer advice. Sadly, when the time came & my precious boy was dying, the Veterinary Doctor advised me on when was the best time to let him go. Not only were they kind, humane & professional towards my boy, but they made sure I was comforted too. I have no regrets about any of the treatment they offered. They were always looking out for my pet's welfare & worked to ensure that he had a long & happy life. Some treatments, although potentially expensive, were always done with a full explanation of what was needed & why. I have no reservations about recommending this practice and I would like to thank them for their care of my beautiful cat.”
“Lovely staff, we got 3 kitties we taken there and they are all well cared for... they are happy healthy furbabies...”
“I’ve been using St David vets for over 20 years and my pets have always received excellent care from the vets and nurses. The admin staff are excellent too!”
“Charlotte is an outstanding vet: knowledgeable, sensible, a fantastic diagnostician, and has been brilliant with all our rescue dogs. The nurses are fantastic too. We've been using this practice for nearly twenty years and trust them 100% - would never consider going anywhere else.”
“Ivor was poorly a few months ago and Cerys put him back on track ...Cerys had updates on Ivor every other day which in my eyes was an excellent caring service which both myself and Ivor are very thankful for”
“All the staff here are so friendly and helpful, we’re always put at ease and feel listened to. The reception staff always seem pleased to see us and are kind and warm with us even when our dogs are behaving less than perfectly. The clinician I have seen has always taken the time to listen to concerns and explain things clearly as well as offer advice.”
“Visited Shepherds to have my 18+ cat euthanized. Was directed to sideroom as I was upset.Cerys, the nurse took details and she deserves 15 out of 10 for her empathy, reassurance and kindness.Lowri the vet was lovely too and administered drug and Milly passed peacefully and I held her and said my goodbyes.”
“My dog broke his leg a couple of months ago & the whole team from the very start have been amazing. A big thank you to the Nurses, Vets & Receptionists for their care. Wouldn't go anywhere else!”
“We have used Park Vets for the past 25+ years and always found them excellent. Over the last nine months our dog Harry who was 15 under went an operation on his neck. It was a great success and he bounced out of it, with a new lease of life. Sadly he was taken ill in July and it was decided he would have teeth out. Following tests it was found he was a very poorly boy. We made the sad decision for him to be put to sleep. Through all of this the practise were excellent, in particular Michaela made this sad process easier to bear. All staff were so lovely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.”
“Lovely vets, made my little girl feel so comfortable she gets excited to go now! Update: I got my dog spayed here, and I cannot thank the lovely lady who discharged her enough. When dropping her off in the morning, she explained everything I needed to know. When I picked her up she went through everything, answered all the questions I had, and didn’t make me feel silly for being emotional. My little dog is my whole world, and after some previous dogs of mine had bad experiences with the vets they went to I was very nervous about this process. The staff here are wonderful, and I wouldn’t dream of taking her anywhere else. Thank you all for looking after my little Gwenllian ♥️”
“Unfortunately we had our border collie called buster put to sleep this morning and everyone at the vets including emma was amazing and can't thank you enough for everything you done for us and emma should be proud of herself and if any vets need a course on how to deal with things like this they or to watch emma in action she was more professional than professional can be that's all I am going to say is emma what a vet u are what a person u are and last word you and the team are perfect”
“On Friday it was our first visit with my little dog Bella the vet was excellent with her l would highly recommend the summerview vets in Chepstow the vet explained everything to me also the nurse was very nice and pleasant it was a lovely visit”
“I would highly recommend Summercourt Vets in Caerphilly. They are always really helpful and give lots of practical advice regarding my Sprocker and her puppies. A local practice with parking .Very reasonable prices .”
“This veterinary practice is brilliant! I have been 100% happy and trust them implicitly to care for my dogs. Today was no exception. I am currently fostering a mixed breed dog, Spotty, from Romanian (Amicili dog rescued). She is naturally a very nervous and anxious little girl. I have had her since 19/11/23 and while she has made a lot of progress, she remains naturally very fearful of unfamiliar people, barking and backing away from them. Spotty needed to be weighed for her flea and worming treatment, and a check over by the vet. I also took my spaniel Nia as company. Spotty didn't hesitate, as I had anticipated, going into the practice and I attribute this to the calm atmosphere of the surgery made by all the staff. I cannot thank the vet Mirac and veterinary nurse Tracey enough for their quiet, caring patience and the time they took to gain Spottys confidence. They were amazing, not just with Spotty but also Nia (whose mission was to snaffle any stray treats!). Mirac was able to examine Spotty. I was overwhelmed as I had anticipated Spottys resistance and the whole experience being stressful for her. I don't know how long Spotty will be with me before she finds her forever home, but if she needs to visit the veterinary practice again, I hope she will remember today's positive experience. Thank you all so very much.”
“We brought our rabbits in for neutering this week and I have to commend the practice and our vet Ross and vet nurse Steph for the thorough and kind care provided to our boys. No question felt too much and we felt so supported through not the easiest of times. Thank you all for your warmth, kind energy and honesty for our boys - we are pleased to report they are both doing really well.”
“I have nothing but good things to say about the Pontcanna branch - they have always been fantastic with our Labrador. Dr Richard is a fantastic chap and an excellent vet - he is very personable, knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend.”
