“We visited the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill several times during our stay in Cardiff, as it was part of the Indigo Hotel. We had breakfast and lunch there while staying at the hotel. The restaurant is centrally located in Cardiff, but it can be a little difficult to spot because it is located on the 6th floor of the Indigo Cardiff. Upon entering, you are greeted by a very stylish and modern restaurant with a lovely grand piano and plenty of seating for drinks before or after your meal. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience. There was a range of options on the continental buffet, and you also get a choice from their breakfast menu. I had "The Favourite," which is smoked salmon, eggs, and avocado on sourdough. It was divine. The continental buffet had everything you would want, including fruits, cereals, pastries, a variety of breads, and more. We then stopped for Sunday lunch, which I have to say was absolutely fantastic. I started with French onion soup, which was sensational. Then, my husband and I both had the Sunday roast. There was so much of it that I couldn't quite believe it when it was delivered to the table. There was so much meat, and the beef was amazingly tender. There was pretty much every side you could want, including Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes, and a huge array of vegetables, including amazing cauliflower cheese. The service was also fantastic from start to finish. The whole team was highly professional and approachable. I personally cannot fault anything that we had, and every aspect was top quality. I would certainly recommend a visit if you're looking for a fantastic Sunday roast—but make sure you come hungry!”

“I don't usually give reviews but figured these guys deserved it tonight. I got chips from here about a month ago, but they weren't great. These guys had just taken over the place and it all seemed a bit chaotic. But today was different. The guys were friendly and the chips were freshly cooked and hot. They were the best chips I've had for a while.”

Faced with that, Paloma went through the options with immense patience, explaining what everything was and what might go with which. “Booked last minute for an early table on new years eve, before a visit to the glee club in Cardiff - all I can say is WOW the food is incredible!!! first time here but def wont be the last, the BEST tsatsiki ive ever had in the uk - everything was tasty & very well presented - we were even given complimentary baklava which was also delicious! “I visited the Packet on a Monday afternoon. It made a nice change from all the (Mostly) big name places to eat in the Bay. A 160 year old traditional pub with a good selection of drinks, friendly chatty staff, and a small outside garden, only a few minutes walk from the main bay area. If you are looking for a traditional drinking pub in the bay area, away from the hustle and bustle of the big restaurants in the bay, I would strongly recommend this Pub.”

“Had a fantastic lunch at Miller & Carter. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff were attentive. The lunch menu had a great selection and everything was cooked perfectly – fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The steak was especially tender and full of flavour, and the sides complemented it perfectly. A lovely experience overall, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality meal in the city centre.”

“Venue, food and staff are wonderful! Held a baby shower in the party room upstairs and was the perfect venue. We had the entire upstairs to ourselves with room to decorate, machine to play music, fridge to store food and drinks and terrace outside. We had a hot buffet with skewers for food and everyone complimented how amazing the food was. The staff were super attentive regularly checking we had everything we needed. “We didn't have food, but the drinks were very nice. Small French cafe feel but very busy. Dog friendly and casual. Decor was lovely and gave pleasant ambience with warm lighting. More frequent toilet checks would be good as the unisex loos were well used by some patrons who were 'directionally challenged'. All in all a really nice stop for a pint with cute dogs to look at.”

“Went to Yakitori1 for lunch before Book of Mormon at the Millennium Centre. Really excellent food and service. We had the Robata Nigiri Surf n Turf, the flamed Nigiri special, Dragon roll and Kaarage chicken noodles. All were delicious although we both felt the Surf n Turf Nigiri was nice but didn't warrant the price. Overall paid £90 for the food and two beers. Would definitely go here again when on Cardiff Bay”

“Just had a meal with my family, i can say the food is lovely. The place is lovely too as you cannot see it from outside. Once you enter and look back of the place. Staff's are friendly too. Menus are more traditional than what we find on any other Turkish restaurants. The portion size is good too. I would recommend to try this place.”
