“We recently came for a family meal on pub quiz night. It was incredible, lively atmosphere and a very helpful young man called Cole sounded very experienced and well educated about the pub and how everything is. He made good recommendations, and me and my wife shared a lovely spread. Food was boiling hot and to the best standard. Delicious.”

Good WiFi, plenty of tables and comfy seating. Great place to cosy up after a long day at work. Nice spacious open plan layout with a few pool tables.”

Was cheaper and faster than going through other delivery apps too. Will 100% order again. Delivery drivers and call handler were very polite and professional. 5 star service. Thank you so much. “First time visit today and very impressed by the friendly service and delicious carvery. Everything from the beef, gammon and turkey to the roasted parsnips and potatoes to the cauliflower cheese to the sticky stuffing - utterly scrumptious! We were early birds and enjoyed being one of few customers but plenty were turning up as we left. Already looking forward to returning!”

“Stone House is a modern restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere. The menu is good and good value. I had a t bone steak cooked perfectly with fries for less than £16. Service was excellent and the premises are definately worth a visit”

“Not my usual choice but not fussy either so decided to give it a go last minute. Service was outstanding. In particular (didn’t get his name) but the duty manager, tall guy with glasses. His good morning made us feel welcome immediately, he was attentive and really friendly. Service makes the experience for me, food was cheap and cheerful, nothing to write home about but hit the spot for the price. Will definitely consider going again, because of the service.”

She checked in at all the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Honestly, Debbie is the reason I’ll be coming back. Great food and drinks, but her service really stood out. Thanks for making it such a great visit!”

Quickly resolved by staff after Order was made through the [W] App. Then as 2 pints we were offered by staff were flat too, management also resolved this issue, with a replacement beer at no extra cost, meaning happy customers, who will defo return again, . “We had a lovely breakfast at this local pub this morning after searching for somewhere dog friendly, and it was fantastic! They had great options for both veggie and vegan breakfasts, all cooked beautifully. The food was hot, not greasy, and prepared with care. Prices were excellent, and the service was just as wonderful – friendly, happy, and welcoming. A perfect start to the day, and we’ll definitely be back”

“Typical with Wetherpoons big that once was theater plenty of room to sit and enjoy a hour or two with cheaper drinks good variety of beers, ales from. Green king and Carlsberg and if feel Hungry there is plenty of food choices from the menu order at bar or on the wetherspoons app easy to find on top of Westgate street near the principality stadium so the Gatekeeper can be very busy on Rugby international and Wales football matches and concert at the principality stadium”

“Great friendly local(ish) pub. Our son lives in Barry and we often visit and meet at this pub, often with our other son and granddaughters. Food lovely, good selection of drinks, what more could you want??? Plus A decent vegetarian selection for my daughter in law!”

“TGIs is hands down the best bottomless brunch in newport! I absolutely LOVE their June Buy and purple rain. I'm a wheelchair user, and they always accommodate me and take us to a table where I can just wheel up and stay in my chair. The customer's service is also really good, and Isabelle Amelia is so polite to bless her. Happy staff is a credit to the place and the management x”

“Me and my missus went to the Bristol one and got served by Emma her service was great was very accommodating and friendly couldn’t ask for more tbh. Atmosphere was probably the thing that stood out the most it felt like some western in a desert. Pizza was decent and drink was great, and yea the people who worked here were full of character would def come back here. They really treat you good with the bottomless”
