“Nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean room with a decent shower. Off road parking a bonus. Quiet for a good night's sleep. Near to the shopping centre so plenty of places to eat nearby.”

“I had a wonderful experience staying at the Beacon Hotel Cardiff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and comfortable, making my stay really enjoyable. A special mention goes to Drulval at reception – he was incredibly polite, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His friendliness made me feel right at home. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend the Beacon Hotel Cardiff to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience. I’ll be happy to return on my next visit to the city!”

“Very impressed with the size, location and price of this recent Hotel stay. Impeccably clean, very spacious and airy. All things needed at hand including hair dryer, ironing board plus iron, toiletries and towels. Good size comfortable bed and plenty of tea/coffee/sugar to use. One drawback only is no lift but knew that before booked. Recommended as in the heart of the City Centre and perfect for train and bus locations which are literally around the corner.”

“Room and decor throughout is very tastefully decorated. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Really good breakfast all you could want. The bed was really comfortable too. A bonus to have onside parking too. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a 1 or 2 night stay here. It was lovely. Well worth a stay here. Oh and only a short walk to seafront too.”

“Nicky proved to be a wonderful host, The rooms were very clean with fresh linen in each room. We were a family of 5 and had a wonderful stay. Nicky knows the area like the back of her hand and recommended some lovely local places for us to visit like Ogmore by Sea. We would definitely visit again and highly rate the accommodation and the host.”

“We had a fabulous break and the cottage has was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of space, comfy beds, well located, cosy fire, gorgeous roll top bath etc etc. And it was so well-equipped – quite possibly the best-equipped cottage we've ever stayed in! There wasn't anything in the kitchen that we wished we had - from sharp knives (such a rarity in rental properties), hand blender, garlic press, meat thermometer - all cooking needs were covered. The hot tub was a real treat and even a bit of rain didn’t stop us enjoying it almost every day. The garden was so beautiful at this time of year, and so peaceful (except during bell ringing practice on Friday night!) – lovely to sit out on the few times we saw the sun! Lucy’s walk leaflets are great and really helpful inspiration for things to do. We loved the complimentary high quality toiletries (and lovely bubble bath) and all the efforts to be as eco/sustainable as possible.. The kids loved the Easter eggs on the welcome tray – thank you!”

Very clean, lovely hosts, walking distance to the beach, pier and shops- just a superb place to stay. I was only sorry that i couldn’t stay longer. Give this place a go, it will not disappoint.”

“We have just returned from a weeks stay at this superb B&B. We have stayed in many guest houses but have never felt quite at home as much as we did here. Tony and Jane are the perfect hosts, in fact, we felt like we had known them for years, they are so friendly and easy to talk to. The house is stunning inside and out and is immaculate. Our room was spacious with a relaxing view over the park. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. We had every subscription platform to choose from. Was able to order from Deliveroo with no issues. Will 100% be returning!”

“Incredible place. Each unit is private enough to feel like you have your own space but still near enough that you don’t feel completely isolated. The lodge was immaculate with so many lovely little homely touches. I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed with only the birds and the trees for background noise. We will definitely be returning, we didn’t want to leave!!”

“Had a short break in the dog friendly Anchors Away Apartment. This is truly dog friendly, rather than 'dog tolerated' as we find in many other places. The garden was ideal for our pooch, and for any nervous doggies then it's good to know there are no other dogs on site. The kitchen is really well stocked, and the goodies on arrival were brilliant! The recent addition of a hot tub was really welcomed, can't beat sitting in the bubbles with a sea view. Lots to see in the area, Dunster is a must as is a train ride. Would love to revisit next time we are down this way.”

“We have just had a lovely stay here for two nights. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. We had a really good sleep as it was so quiet at night. You had a choice at breakfast of cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit, and a fully cooked breakfast. We had all of it. Mike and Maura were very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely place to stay to visit the nearby areas.”

“The owner Steve, is an absolutely lovely guy & nothing was too much trouble. I arrived at 12pm & Steve checked me in straight away. The guest house was absolutely spotless & the grounds were immaculate. I stayed in room 2 which had a very comfy bed, tv, great WiFi connection, charging points next to the bed, tea/coffee facilities & ensuite. The breakfast was first class. Each room also has 1 parking space. Ty Castell is in an excellent location & only a 2 minute walk to the town centre & train station. I will definitely stay again when in the area & highly recommend this guest house.”

“We couldn't have asked for better estate agents! Our chain turned into an absolute nightmare at times, and our moving date ended up changing three times, but the team were amazing throughout it all. They kept us updated every step of the way, chased things up when needed, and were always friendly, patient and reassuring - nothing was ever too much trouble. It made such a stressful process so much easier knowing they were on top of everything. Would 100% recommend Hunters to anyone buying or selling - they really went above and beyond for us.”
