“Top Dog is the best groomer we have ever used. I love the fact that our dog (a very discerning character!) walks in happy and walks out just as happy. The grooming itself is professional and sensitive to our Cavapoo's shaggy hair. The last groomer we went to massacred Rosie's coat making her look like the product of a stylised poodle parlour. When Top Dog have finished with her she looked shaggy and natural and yet her coat had been thoroughly sorted. The fur on her legs was shorter, her ears and tail longer, the fur on her back had been graded in length. I can only say how delighted I am with Top Dog. I certainly won't be taking Rosie anywhere else! Thank you!”

“I’ve been in weekly for the last 8 weeks with my 3 cats with various issues. I’ve stopped going to Valley since their treatment of staff who went on strike & I’m happy with the care I’ve received from Andrea & her team. Whilst the location & nature of the business (owned by big 6) doesn’t lend itself to the same care/service as an independent, I’ve been very satisfied with the treatment received. The staff have been really patient with my and my anxious communications (I appreciate the WhatsApp service) about my terminally ill little cat. They’ve spent time helping me determine the right course of action for my girl & I’ve never felt pushed into anything, nor made to feel silly for the questions I’ve asked or choice I’ve made. Both dental treatments my cats had recently came in comfortably under the quote. And the practice is always happy to provide written prescriptions so I can find flea treatment at a price that suits my budget. I do hate the location though - both on the industrial site and the mezzanine above the store. It’s loud, doesn’t feel very secure and isn’t great when you’re going through something difficult. I’m dreading when the time comes for me to say goodbye to my girl and how exposed it’ll feel upstairs and walking through the store with my tears & grief. But what can be done? There’s not a great deal of choices in practices really. And no independent ones locally. So I’m happy with a Vet-led franchise with an owner who seems to care about her practice & the animals she sees.”

“They were happy to work with my difficult dog when no other groomer would/could and have been doing a fantastic job. When the groomer he had built rapport with was leaving, the business owner offered us to remain with Muddy Pawz and use a new groomer or follow his current groomer to avoid regression: putting our dog’s needs first. We chose to follow his current groomer as she does an amazing job with him and we don’t know whether a new groomer would have the same success, but we feel terrible for leaving as never would have for any other reason. Cannot recommend highly enough. Caring attitude towards doing their best for your dog that goes beyond business.”

She seems to have had a lovely time - had a few pupdates during my holiday, all looked to be happy and running about with the others. I don't know what products she uses but he smells glorious, his coat is so shiny, the cut is always perfect and his tail constantly wagging! Jake has been our first puppy and Sue really put us at ease with her kind demeanour and reassuring presence. Most importantly though she is AMAZING with Jake, he loves her to bits and he cant get out the door quick enough to go on an adventure with her! Constant contact, professional, wonderful service and a fantastic all round person, I cannot recommend Sue highly enough, she genuinely cares about Jake, even spoiling him out of her own pocket every now and again! 20 out of 10, if you need a dog walking service this is the one, although anyone will tell you it is so much more than that, Sue seems like an extension of the family!”

The reassurance that she has a friendly and consistent touch point during the day has been brilliant, particularly given she is our first puppy. Mark is superb with her and she absolutely loves spending time with him and is always excited when its walk time and restful and content afterwards! He is clearly passionate about dogs, reliable, extremely trustworthy and has developed her confidence no end both on walks and through the additional time spent with other dogs. The regular feedback on how she is progressing is great for us to gauge how she is and we couldn’t be happier and neither could Holly. Clearly much more than just a dog walker, his training tips and advice have been invaluable and the knowledge he can accommodate Holly during time away is excellent. A massive thank you Mark!
