“We came this morning for breakfast. We didn't stay in a room but were just a walk in. The service we received was first class. The food we received was first class. I cannot fault this place. We love to go out for breakfast and this will be our new place to go to. The staff were absolutely perfect. Friendly, helpful, interacted great with our kids. Don't change a thing!!! 10 out of 10”

“i really love this takeaway !Every time I order takeaway, I’m always satisfied. Their Sweet and Sour chicken contonese style and vegetarian dishes are especially authentic. One bite and you can really taste the true flavors of Chinese food. The delivery speed is also very fast, usually arriving on time. The food is packaged well and arrives hot with no spillage. I really like the service here, the delivery driver is always friendly. I’ve already recommended it to my friends, and I’ll definitely order again next time!”

“I treated my family to breakfast here this morning (4 adults, 3 children). On arrival we were shown to our table, and the requested high chair was already in position. The food was excellent. The cooked breakfast was well presented on our plates, and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection. All the buffet food was excellent and replenished as soon as things ran out, or were running low. The three server's were all very busy, but always pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely treat my family to a breakfast here again.”

“Recently stayed here as we had been gifted a two night stay. Can definitely say we were very pleased with everything. The room was clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Bartender with the ponytail (unfortunately didn’t get his name) was friendly and a great credit to the hotel.”

“Stayed here overnight on a long journey. Everything fine. Very happy with the accomodation, hence a very satisfied 5 stars. However... Tripped over a couple of gotchas, though not the fault of the owner (lovely chap). 1, The room must be paid for in cash on arrival – my fault, I missed the message from Booking.com. 2, No breakfast! This is Google's fault: the description in G-Maps clearly (& incorrectly) categorises this guest house as a B&B (it isn't), *AND* it says that breakfast is available. It isn't. The owner hasn't served breakfast in over 2 years. The details in Booking.com are correct and I should've spotted this discrepancy. C'mon Google, get this entry updated. Why is it taking you over 2 years?”

“Have been a regular for 7/8 weeks, super food cooked quickly. We did have one dodgy night with no plumb sauce on the duck and sweet and sour sauce seemed watered down. Let them know and all was good this week”

The curries were beautifully spiced, the naan was fresh and fluffy, and the portions were generous. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to make recommendations, which made the evening even better. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, perfect for a night out or a special meal. “Our ‘go to’ Chinese takeaway. Normally takes 10-15 minutes, rarely ever longer. Food always good, and they’ve only got an order wrong once in many years of using the place. It’s worth noting it’s cash only. The nearest cash point is at the nearby Co-op.”

“Tried the new self service machine to order the vegan breakfast. The machine was easy to use and offered a choice of cash or card payments and allowed me to earn points on my clubcard. Ordered to eat in and the service was polite, tidy and quick. The vegan breakfast has very herby vegan sausages which was full of flavour. I enjoyed my time at this café”
