“Entered the store and was met by Sam the cheery security guard, always makes sure I'm eating well, walked up the first Isle with him, as we got to the end we could see a wee auld lady waving frantically, Sam and I went over and she asked Sam to reach for the 1 litre bottle of milk she needed, unfortunately Sam, being just a little taller than the wee auld lady, couldn't reach it either, meanwhile, at the tills Diane noticed what was happening, tied more knots in her t-shirt (for aerodynamics) and sprinted up the freezer isle, with one stride she mounted the last freezer and flipped onto Sam's shoulders, Diane, balancing perfectly, urged Sam towards the fridge, Diane retrieved the carton and her graceful back flip dismount from Sam was something to behold, she presented the wee auld lady with her milk and walked proudly back to the tills while the whole store erupted in cheers, amazing.”

“Asda in the Livingston centre is just fantastic. The shop is massive and very well stocked. Their George department is easily the biggest I've ever seen. Normally clothes in a supermarket for men tend to be one or perhaps 2 rows, however Asda is bigger and a huge choice. Handy for items if you are going on holiday. Great choice of shorts and T-shirts flip flops etc. Well worth a visit and much better value for money than you get in other high street retailers”

“Always have the basics that you need. We are able to get meat, milk, bread, herbs, jams, veggies, sandwiches, etc. right here in our local store instead of taking a longer trip. Love this place”

“I work at the Hospital and this Sainsbury's is very convenient and great for picking up all sorts of ingredientsto cook with people I work with. The staff are really helpful when it comes to finding what you are looking for and kind and understanding when serving differently abled people, which I hugely appreciate. Thank you Sainsbury's!”

“Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is well stocked covering most items. The bread is fresh with deliveries every morning supplying rolls croissants etc. The shop during a school week around lunch time gets very busy with school pupils coming up from Liberton high school.”

“Shop is very useful and just opened this year so they're getting used to the customer wants and nots. Very friendly staff and managers who gets the shortfall of products in when you ask. That's good service and why I'll prefer to shop at them rather than the chain stores because they've become too complacent and this store has a nice variety of wines and beverages.”

“This is my local Lidl store. The shop is always clean and tidy. The prices are competitive as you would expect from a budget supermarket. The store has a general happy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely friendly and always helpful. I look forward to my weekly visits here and to finding something unusual in the middle aisle.”

“Great place to stop for a break. The coffee was very good, and the cake was delicious. We sat outside with our dogs, which was perfect. The inside isn’t dog-friendly, but the outdoor seating is great if you have pets. The staff were very friendly and welcoming—the man who served us had a big smile, which made the visit even nicer. Highly recommended if you’re near Holyrood Palace!”

“They have a fantastic Hand Car Wash in the Carpark where you can leave your car when you go shopping and collect it finish when finished. The quality of the wash and dry is carried out to a very high standard by very polite and courteous staff never been disappointed 10/10”

Remember to get your free Morrison loyalty card and collect your points, as it quickly adds up and you'll get £5 vouchers as well as other points offers.”

“I love Lidl and as far as they go this is a very good one. Well stocked and just a great place to shop, geneuinly so many good things here such as cheap sausage rolls, cheap oats, so many things. Definitely worth it if you’re a bit hungry looking for something cheap and i mean CHEAP to eat like you could feed yourself for under £1 here definitely.”

“Amazing value for money. Also, compared to some other Morrisons this is very clean and enjoyable to shop in. To me it feels exactly like shopping in Tesco but with Morrison prices. Sure, on occasion there are queues (it’s a shop, there’s queues everywhere at times) but most of the time my checkout is super smooth. Sometimes some inconsistencies between label price and what charged at the till but again, pretty minor. Also Morrisons card reward system is great- always new reward schemes keep me enthused!”
