“Love this store. My kind of shop - park on roof, nip down steps. The store is small enough to get round quickly and find what you want, yet large enough to have everything you want. Top quality food, albeit pricey, excellent fruit and veg. Staff are fine, could be a bit more smiley but ok.”
“A large shop with a wide selection of products. Very tasty soups for £1.50. There is a shelf with Polish products: sausages, cured meats, cottage cheese, kefir, sauerkraut, and pickles.”
“A lot of food choices with marked down items! Sucha budget friendly grocery!”
“Great big store with huge selection. Particularly good selection of gluten free food items in fresh and frozen sections.”
“Gotta love waitrose. The best quality, best value, tinned sardines I can find. My cat regularly confirms the findings of my research”
“Easy to reach by car or bus. Quiet small shop with lot of promotional offers .Big park in the backyard. Interesting promo for Greggs stuff. Updated information 22/02/25: The shop is permanently closed. The site is empty, and the property is on rent.”
“This is my type of super market. It has a washroom, fitting room , plenty of space, friendly staff and automated stairs. I bought milk and juice and staff helped me.”
“Iceland is a place for your everyday shopping of frozen. It is not big, but very popular amongst people who love cheap and in a same moment quality foods. Also there is your veg, fruits, sweeties and drinks...Good middle week shopping guaranteed..”
“I stopped going to Lidl many years ago, as I found that Aldi had a better selection of products that I liked, but I will be back again since my visit today, as I ended up purchasing more than I had intended due to the restored great selection of products at reasonable prices. I need to take a bigger bag next time.”
“Decent price, probably best place to get fuel on way down to the borders and further south.”
“I went to collect my click and collect order, but realised I had forgotten my phone, which you need. Asked at the customer service desk if there was any way I could collect without it, and she put out a call for a click and collect colleague. Someone came very quickly and advised me it was no problem at all, just to go back to my car and he would bring it out. As always I was offered a hand to pack, and was soon on my way. Thank you so much for saving me an extra journey.”
“Strategically located near the Edinburgh Waverley station, this cafe opens quite early and offers drinks and cakes to refresh your morning time. Plenty of seats but can be very busy after 10am. Come early if you want a more quiet atmosphere. Drinks are okay, bakery is nice. Prices are okay considerin its location, maybe targeted to travellers as well. But seems quite popular for the city dwellers to come in group or individually.”
“Very helpful & polite staff. I sourced everything that was on my shopping list. Thankyou.”
“One of my favourite shops in Edinburgh. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful. I admit to being a bit of a Lidl tourist - I like to go to other venues, and have had good service in all of them, but Lidl’s at Craigmillar Shopping Centre go a little further when it comes to customer service.”
“Great place to shop. Plenty of Bargains. Also the Staff are very Helpfull. Will be back in shopping.”
“It was a pleasure to meet the owner who did help us with spices and other products sold in this shop. My father is in to cooking, and for a couple of years, he did shop online for powders and spices. Finally he found a shop where you can buy all the needed ingredients and where you can get advice as well. Prices are good, the store is welcoming with car park just outside the unit and products are high quality. %100 that we will be back!!”
“The staff make this place. Amazing so helpful and friendly”

“Cannot fault the staff at the prestonpans mid roads co op they are so lovely & helpful!”
“Loved the quality and quantity of their food. Must visit once, price can be bit lower but still loved it.”
“The best small market in the New Town area. Margiotta Dundas Street retains its Italian market heritage with a wonderful selection of fresh bread and bakery sweets. Plus wine and beer, kitchen and gifts, all the basics, and more!”
“A GREAT GO-TO. Pret is always a reliable place to go. The food and drinks are of a consistently high standard and the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. We had hot food namely a falafel & halloumi wrap and tuna melt toastie. Both were terrific. Large americanos and spelt cookie chasers and we were sorted. Continually good. We'll keep going back.”
“Excellent, down to earth, staff/owners. Excellent food and they went the further mile to accomodate me as a vegan, offered to make me a thick creamy hot chocolate which was delicious. Had a full english vegan breakfast and a vegan carrot cake for afters. All absolutely gorgeous and not overpriced like most bougie vegan places. Was there about half past two Thursday gone.”
“Nice store, well assorted of everything you need for the house, clean and tidy. Big parking space and many other retail store around. Recommended!”

“Great produce. It was a really clean and tidy store. Prices were a bit steep but I signed up for a Nectar card on my mobile whilst in store. Wow, what a difference. I'll be back.”
