“Had a great experience at the store today. The team was completely courteous, patient, and genuinely warm. I was impressed by the high quality of the goods and the very reasonable pricing. Best of all, the customer service was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional, and I especially appreciated the support from Michelle at the till, Jamie, and the store manager — also named Michelle — who were particularly attentive. They made me feel welcome and seemed truly happy in their work. Thank you all!”

My exhaust was hanging off and I was quite distressed as to what to do and how I'd get back to Dunfermline. He came out and helped me straight away, got my exhaust off and all the while was so lovely! My knight in shining armour, please say a huge thankyou as I work for Tesco and know how people don't get enough recognition! Thankyou thankyou thankyou( I should have got his name!)”

“I had a really good experience in this store. I was really struggling with finding particular items and the manager Ryan walked around the store with me to find any items that I required. He then offered to help me through the till process as it was self service and I do not use self service tills often so this really made my day. He is a glowing employee with great customer service. He is an exceptional example of how an M&S employee should be. I would definitely recommend this store if this employee is there to assist.”

    Tesco Cafe

    ★★★☆☆ 3.6

“About this Tesco Café in the supermarket: Well I've not eaten there in years because of a raw fish i was served the last time I was there. Now tables don't seem to be cleaned regularly and always groggy when I pass them, so I've learnt to pass the Café when I do shopping. Always a catchup stain or something sticky on seats and chairs as I walk by. Prices are dear asif you're in a restaurant. Not really where I feel like sitting down.”

“Completely underrated coffee shop. It's peaceful, clean, the coffee is good and the staff are lovely. The cakes aren't bad either but there's not a huge selection. If you're looking for a quiet coffee, this beats Starbucks, Costa and Nero hands down.”

“I had a fantastic experience at the Caffè Nero after security in Edinburgh Airport. The lady working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a real difference during a travel day. I ordered a mocha frappe, and honestly, it was the best I’ve had in a long time, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Great service, great coffee!”

“My first time visiting this coffee shop this morning and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. I'm stunned to see so little positive reviews. A warm vibe on an overcast day in Edinburgh. An excellent oat flat white and the lemon and pistachio blondie was excellent partnered together. Two ladies behind the counter were pleasant and attentive. Polite and positive experience all-round. I'll definitely be back to try more of their varied menu. The interior is rustic and welcoming as you walk in. A truly lovely spot in Marchmont.”

“A great little convenience store just minutes from the guesthouse I was staying while in Edinburgh. The store is well stocked, the prices are fair, and the owner was very kind and helpful. After learning the stones in Craigh na Dun (Outlander) are fictional and I would not be passing through them, but indeed taking the plane back home after all, I left Ms Yusef some crystals and gemstones in appreciation of our interactions.”
