“We are in a new build and haven’t had the windows washed since we moved in 6 months ago due to living on a building sight. The standard of window cleaning was first class. The windows took ages to clean due to all the dust and debris on them but the chap worked away till he got it to a first class finish. I never expected the windows to look this clean first time round. I thoroughly recommend using CS Window & Gutter Cleaning LTD”

“Tyre going flat despite being topped up. Went in on a Saturday morning on the off chance of getting it fixed. I was informed that the Mots booked in for that day would make it unlikely that my tyre could be fitted in, and was asked to come back on Monday. Monday morning, tyre unresponsive to any attempts to introduce air. Fitted spare. Went in to DSC on way to work and was shown the reason for no inflation. Ask for a replacement tyre to be fitted and expected to pay the normal price for mid price example. I was called in the afternoon by Jackie to say my tyre was ready. Arrived to find my new tyre balanced etc asked for it to be fitted which was passed on to one of the guys to do. Asked the price……had to sit down for this….not even £100 ……yes, balanced , fitted and a cracker of a tyre….all for under £100. I can see why these people have 5 star reviews…. A gem of a place with excellent staff. 5 stars all round.”

They communicate promptly in the WhatsApp group they create for you, go in straight after guests leave to clean, can accommodate same day flips and they send over cleaning reports with photos once they done. They were even able to provide and wash all towels and bedding and even provided tea and coffee for guests. Was very impressed with Chris, Karolina and co!”

“LOVE THIS HOTEL! You walk inside and in but a moment you've entered this beautiful, modern oasis...your new home away from home...in one of the world's most extraordinary cities!! The reception desk staff are some of the most gracious and patient people I've had the pleasure to meet and interact with... They set the mood beautifully. My room was on the front side of the hotel and from my modern room the ancient building across the way was a perfect "opposites attract" kind of moment! Everything about my room was quirky, fun, hip, and most comfortable and quiet!! The giant shower was equally decadent and soothing all at the same time! My giant bed was sooooo equally comfortable and soothing after long days of walking all over Edinburgh.... Just saying! The breakfast buffet in the very nice dining room was quite delicious and full of choices that should appeal to even picky eaters. The staff aim to make everyone happy and I think they succeed beautifully! The neighborhood is quirky and the hotel is just around the corner and a short walk from Edinburgh Castle! I highly recommend this well-appointed modern hotel and the great team of personnel who all make it tick with great ease and excellence! Bravo!!”

“Super professional service - Kinga has been organising our cleaning for almost 2 years now. Cleaners have always been fantastic and friendly. Kinga is always on top of things re: arranging replacements if a cleaner is away, etc. Sylwia, our current cleaner is excellent. Highly recommend!”

“Hurrah!!! EcoSoft turned my sad 1star review into a to 5/5 by contacting me by email via Google maps to say their phone system was ill — they are most certainly still operational, joy! I was able to get a, super, pick-up and delivery, service wash again. (Edit: Jan 2024.) My original review: "Didn't hate it just couldn't contact them, tried for a week, in Dec 2023, phoning regurally but my calls were diverted to a line I got no pickup from. Used them extensively in 2022 and their laundry pick-up & delivery was brilliant. Searches say tel no as previously but as said I'm getting no joy on that line. Have to assume they have closed?"”

After asking a lot of questions, we decided to use them. Oh my, great service, reasonable price and items that required folding, were. I would absolutely recommend them. “Hampton by Hilton, Edinburgh Airport This is my second stay at the Hampton by Hilton, and it continues to impress. The hotel is well-appointed, quiet, clean, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The breakfast is exceptional, offering a great variety of options. Unfortunately, on this particular evening, there was a group of young people in their early 20s on our floor who were slamming doors and being loud and obnoxious. After tolerating the noise for two hours, I decided to call reception. They responded immediately and took swift action to resolve the situation. The night staff handled it efficiently, providing exceptional service. Despite this isolated incident, I highly recommend this hotel for its overall quality and excellent service.”

Upon arriving a few hours early, David kindly assisted us by storing our luggage and went the extra mile by recommending places to visit in the city, which was extremely helpful. Immediately recognized me as needing help, did so super cheerfully, and helped me through the entire wash / dry process. She was even good enough to recommend a locals pub to me while I waited. Top place, great service, thanks”

“Went into Halfords at Seafield Edinburgh to get new headlight bulbs fitted. The guy dealing with me was excellent as while he was changing my bulbs he noticed my car engine was covered in oil. I had not long back had an oil change carried out (elsewhere) and they had not put the oil cap & dipstick back properly and it was spraying oil all over my engine. The guy at Halfords cleaned up the oil mess, checked my oil level (already down to 1/2) and made sure everything was back on correctly having got me to start the car up to check. Gave me some advice fir when I drove off and told me to keep a close eye Finally I had purchased a tyre inflator from Halfords at the start of December which I thought was faulty. He checked it, confirmed it was faulty and switched it over. Great customer service and peace of mind for me when I then drove off from Halfords this morning. Excellent.”

“Perfect room. Amazing bed. Bathroom spotless. Staff helpful, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast very, very good. Evening meal menu ok, if you lije American-style food, such as brioche buns, sickly bbq sauces, and frozen veg. Fish and chips very nice, pizza is the best value. Don't have any warmed-up desserts, they're blasted in the microwave and either rock hard or the chocolate is burnt. Definitely stay here again, though, the beds are fantastic.”
