βIβve taken 3 kickstarter sessions with Josie and have found them very useful and enjoyable. Josie is extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease with trying new things in the gym and talking through good goals to work towards. In particular she was great at spotting where my technique needed work and explaining how to change it in an easy to understand way.β
βI studied engineering here in the early 90βs, great university with modern equipment and good links to industry. Highly recommend it to prospective students who want to study in the famous old city.β
βWe enjoyed a spa day followed by dinner. The spa is really lovely, staff are friendly and attentive and the facilities are excellent. Especially loved the heated beds. Food was delicious.β
βHave referred clients here for years and have never had anything other than a first class experience. Namely with the radiology department and Consultant radiologist Graham McKillop and Consultant in Sport Exercise Medicine Carrie McCrea-Routray. An outstanding service with outstanding professionals. Best wishes and sincerest thanks, Karen Gibsonβ
βAmazing place staff are amazing very friendly and such a great experience we had here thanks to Holly and all other ABC4D staffβ
βIβve really enjoyed my experience at Village Gym Edinburgh. The yoga classes are fantasticβwell-structured, calming, and always leave me feeling refreshed. A special shout-out to Natalie at reception, who is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She consistently makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!β
βGreat friendly venue. Beginners welcome every week. There's a beginner class at 7.30pm followed by some freestyle dancing then an intermediate class with Taxi dancers on hand to help the beginners with a review session at 8.30pm. Then freestyle dancing until 10.30pm.β
βTook one swim lesson and I would go back. Great instructor.β
βBeen working with IOM for a while, very receptive and great working relationship with themβ
βWhen I was bleeding and panicking and no hospital would allow me an emergency appointment... medicspot clinic was there and everyone in the pharmacy was great and helpful. No word to say how thankful I am!β
βIβve been going there for adult swim lessons for over a year. Thomas is the best swim coach Iβve ever had. Iβve had many lessons for the past many years but nobody can match Thomas. I came from deep trauma of being in water. Thomas has helped me progress from zero to now capable of being confident in water (not deep water yet) by myself while learning techniques to swim. I consider myself the most difficult swim student. Heβs very patient, resourceful, funny and 100% great in coaching non-swimmers. Their management also gave me a trial day pass for the gym and allowed me to use their gym one other day while my usual sports centre was closed for refurbishment. I have only great things to say about them. Fully recommend the centre.β
βYesterday, I had the opportunity to undergo surgery at the Royal Infirmary Hospital in Edinburgh. The service, medical staff, and doctors in the Day Surgery Unit were absolutely top-notch. After the surgery, I stayed in the post-operative ward, where the staff were also incredibly kind, courteous, and professional. I'd like to say a big thank you to Tracy, who was incredibly kind and funny. Overall, the patient care was top-notch. My warmest regards to all of you, and thank you for turning a stressful day into an unforgettable, wonderful experience. It's a pity that I can only give you 5 stars because you deserve much more.β
βWent for our 4months old very first swim. The change rooms and pool were absolutely spotless and the (majority of) staff were brilliant! We asked permission to take photos as it was our first swim and we checked with the life guard and everyone in the pool- they all okayed it. When we started taking pictures we were shouted at by a supervisor who informed us that if we'd have checked with higher management they would not have allowed us to take pictures. THANKYOU to the staff that did allow us to and also told us about the swim lessons- because of you we are already booked in for lessons and will return. I really hope the supervisor reads this and takes note. You need 50p for a locker and there is space in reception to leave a buggy if you need to.β
βI joined the Joint Pain programme 6 months ago and found it very beneficial. All staff were extremely helpful. The class leader was very patient and pleasant, the physiotherapist was excellent and I appreciated the fact that he accompanied me to the gym, giving reassurance that I was doing things that would not be harmful. I found the cafe very convenient and reasonably priced. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere with Freddie and all those on duty made the whole exercise experience a pleasure and one to be continued.β
βNo one feels good when you are hungry. I am also like that. I donβt feel at ease when Iβm hungry. Every time I visit this place, I feel welcomed and I feel at ease entering the area. Their accommodation is the best. Their food is the best contributory in easing my uneasiness. They cook well and the spices used are all authentic!β
βGot referred for various tests due to ongoing ill health due to Medical malpractice/negligence at the hands of NHS Forth Valley Mental health dept, seen Respiratory surgeon, ENT surgeon, Neurologist & a Neurosurgeon - tests such as Nasal Endoscopy, EMG & Nerve conduction tests. The Neuroseurgeon also referred me for a brain, neck & shoulders MRI scan at the other Spire hospital in Edinburgh Murrayfield, fast, not long waiting times, good communications etc. The NHS is totally destroyed in Scotland & is not fit for purpose.β
βBeen a member for many years and canβt fault Nuffield Fountain Park. Excellent facilities and really friendly staff. Decent size pool, well equipped gym and regular classes. The health club is run very efficiently by management who are always responsive to any concerns / issues. Very relaxed atmosphere and always look forward to my visit. Big shout out to Manya and Leandro for your excellent customer service, friendliness and warm welcomes every time I visit. The freshly squeezed orange juice from the cafe is amazing. Keep up the good work all and well done.β
βSectioned twice in 1973 - dreadful experience but three years ago in 2023 I was admitted to Eden Ward a revolutionary experience so much has changed, Spiritual centre, music therapy, craft group, excellent staff given the potentially stressful situations on the ward. Eden Ward was exactly that the Garden of Eden built round a cloister with raised beds, trees and benches for the patients to to enjoy the sun. The only fault I could find were the cigarette butts left on the ground a revolting disrespectful habit in such a beautiful place. The staff were generally speaking very caring and compassionate, some youngsters working and also training. The Consultant was very busy and it was difficult to have an appointment to see him but all in all a rewarding experience..β
