“I lived at Lochrin Quay for a year, and it was one of my favorite places I have ever lived. There are great amenities in a modern building and tenants are taken care of by wonderful staff. Lochrin Quay is a quiet building and is in the perfect location - right off of the beautiful canal and walking distance to the Meadows. I highly recommend living here!”

The shop works from home but they made it very easy with the setup in front of the house in the shed. Great prices and you can just feel the passion for the industry! ⭐”

“This is a delightful wee cafe, very community centred and part of the beautiful Liberton Kirk which sits across the road ( an aside, the church is worth a visit at any time but is a visual delight in autumn as the leaves of the creeper covering the building turn a fiery red. Gorgeous.) The cafe is manned by cheerful and helpful volunteers and the fresh scones, cakes and biscuits, baked on site, are great. Definitely worth a try if you are passing.”

“Gem of a cafe under a church where they help people with special needs skills to help them in society. The scones were delicious and very reasonably priced as were the sandwiches. We thoroughly enjoyed our time eating and talking to the staff who were very welcoming. Whilst it's just a brief visit to Edinburgh for us, we'd certainly come back if we're in the area again. “What a true gem amongst so many similarly looking establishments. Just behind the Usher Hall, perfectly located for a pre-theatre bite to eat. Lovely interior full of Persian motives. Fantastic staff members, knowing what a very good customer service is without being intrusive and overwhelming. Beautifully appointed table with lovely crockery and cutlery. Food looking so delicious you can't wait to start. Everything prepared fresh from good ingredients. No GMO, emulsifiers etc. Just pure not artificially improved food full of fresh herbs, spices and organic toppings. Good wine list. Prices won't brake a bank (by latest standards). “My friend and I just came in for take away flat whites. It's such a tiny shop, they make your drink on the same side as the tables. There is space for 6 people and it's cramped. This is an incredible coffee spot. They pull the espresso with fantastic precision and they froth the milk perfectly. I am so happy that I came here and I HIGHLY recommend this coffee shop for anyone in the area.”

“Words can’t describe how wonderful this artsy boutique style hotel is! Just returned home after spending five fabulous nights at this beautiful gem of a hotel. Nothing has been overlooked, from the decor, design, furnishings, artwork - and on top if it all, a lovely whisky tasting bar/lounge that was truly elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure that everything was perfect for us from the moment we arrived until our departure (inclusive of booking taxis and making hotel reservations). Will definitely be booking another stay at 24 Royal Terrace if given the opportunity to visit Edinburgh again.”

Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The area is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There is a very good bus connection to the Royal Mile (about 15 minutes), and if you prefer walking, it’s around 30–40 minutes on foot. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in Edinburgh!”

A short 10 minute walk to Princes Street and everything around. 20 min walk to Edinburgh Castle and 45 minute walk to Holyrood Palace (end of Royal Mile) so everything we wanted to see was in walking distance from here. Beautiful hotel. Everything about it was just great. Room was fantastic. Wife and daughter kept saying it reminded them of a Jane Austen movie. Decor was wonderful, beds were super comfy. Our room included two single Murphy beds that the kids used while we had our own master bedroom. Plenty of room to just sprawl out and enjoy the space. Would highly recommend for a stay in Edinburgh!”
