“Visited for the first time today, I didn't realise the closing time was soon but the lady with lovely glasses at the counter insisted I sit in after I offered to takeaway instead. My food was beautiful and I was reminded by her to take my time and not to worry, it was honestly the best mushroom soup I've ever had. So reasonable compared to other cafes in Hamilton, I will definitely be returning ”

Food is good, well presented and very reasonably priced. The owner (I think) is also pleasant, nice lady to chat with. Dog friendly. The cappuccino was nice and well presented, the cake tasty and the person who served us was smiling and polite: a good experience! “I'm a lifelong lover of little cafes such as Elles Kitchen. I spent a couple of weeks in the area last year - coming from Dublin for a couple of weeks on business. Elle herself was an authentic Scottish lady; during my regular visits, she always remembered my name and seemed genuinely interested in my reason for visiting Glasgow. Her fried food was of a very high traditional standard and was served very quickly but not at the expense of quality. I recommend Elles Kitchen to local and tourist alike. Liam”

“This place has been given a fantastic make over. Great service and very reasonable prices. I had the beef burger with haggis and my husband and friend had the chicken burger and the chicken fajitas, all very tasty and fresh. £6 for a strawberry daiquiri is roughly the same as Glasgow prices but they were delicious. Will definitely need to go back and fully recommend.”
