“We came in for lunch around 12:30 and ordered and the food came right away! Food was delicious and good value with their lunch menu. Service was lovely and attentive - waiter came and checked on us during the meal, he didn’t introduce himself so I didn’t get a name. Lovely blonde kid with glasses. Food was excellent, and the atmosphere quickly picked up when a few more tables came in.”

“We ended up here by chance after previous dinner plans fell through. Super easy to get to as within only a few minutes walking distance from Charring Cross, and across the road from The King's Theatre. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we were seated quickly (we didn't have a booking although we were early enough to skip the rush that came later as we were leaving, I'd definitely suggest booking!). The food was delicious. Lots of choice on the menu, and the Minestrone Soup was beautiful. If I was asked to critique something, and this is really just being pernickety and didn't pose much of an issue - the tables are a little bit of a squeeze for space if you're having a pizza. But that's being really nitpicky, as otherwise the booth was comfortable and even busy, the place didn't feel cramped.”

“Moved to the area around a year and an half ago, and this is now our ‘local Italian’. Every visit is excellent. Food is consistent, and the staff are always super friendly and service is great. Head chef Robert is an absolute star - goes above and beyond to accommodate any requirements (made a custom sauce for our party member with a multitude of difficult food intolerances and made sure she got to enjoy dessert with the rest of us), and really seems to care about the food he produces. Cannot recommend enough - my only (slight!!) criticism is the music choices can be a little odd!”

“Went back again today 13 August with my husband to meet up with my brother who is over from Saudi. Food was delicious again. I had the prawn and smoked salmon rigatoni and a couple of half priced cocktails. The guys had burgers and fries. One had the chicken milanese burger and the other the beefburger. My brother opted for the carbonara fries as he said he'll stock up on his bacon intake prior to heading back to Saudi on Friday as it'll be Christmas School hols before he gets back to Scotland. They both had soft drinks and a coffee. No desserts as we were all too full as portions are large. I had again a £10 act of kindness emailed voucher which was handy and the 25% meerkat discount made the bill just £52.72. “Fantastic service. We were walk-ins and got seated immediately. Our server was Jess, she was very helpful in helping us decide what to have. The menu is very comprehensive and should satisfy most tastes, even those who are not fussed for Italian food. Our order was taken in a timely manner, and served up very quickly. The portions were ample and tasted fantastic. We would have had more if we weren’t so full! Thank you Jess”

“Took myself out "on a date" here and the staff were really nice to find a table for me, even though they were not taking any more walk-ins at that time. I got the King Prawn Pasta, which was extremely delicious and the Citrus Cooler, which was absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend. I would have drunk more than one if I had the time. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and relaxing. The staff were really nice and always checking in to see if everything was alright. A very enjoyable late lunch/early dinner. Will definitely come back!”

“The view is just spectacular! If you want to see Glasgow from above, this is a good spot for it! The restaurant has two small terraces where you can sit outside and have a drink. Inside it is very cozy and I liked the atmosphere. Also the staff was very friendly and very attentive, asking several times if we wanted anything else. The food was coming fast, was very nice arranged and totally yummy. Alltogether a really pleasant experience!”

“I ordered a 10" pizza on Just Eat as I left the house. It said it would be a 22 minute wait before I could collect it but it was definitely ready in about 15 minutes. I was greeted with a smile (always very important) and sent off to the wild outdoors with my pizza in hand and a whistle on my lips. It was the perfect temperature when I got home. The base is a lovely. It rips apart well, is firm enough to hold its shape, but soft enough to be delicious. I really enjoyed it. For less than £9 for a 10" pizza I don't think you can go wrong with it! There isn't really an 'atmosphere' since this is not a sit in restaurant. But why would that mean that I should take stars off them for that? So 5 stars from me! For I am honest as the day is long. The outside of the restaurant has seen better days. Someone has recently smashed the glass box on the wall so it could do with a face lift. But what is more important than the outside, or a place to sit my gargantuan behind comfortably? What truly matters is what is inside and they have it where it counts. Right in the yum zone in your mouth.”

“The focaccia was freshly baked and filled with delicious ingredients! The place may not be as large as other cafes, but the cosy space gave it a more personal, intimate ambience when dining in. Visited a month ago and am yearning to return. Strongly recommended!”
