“This place is great. I love the pool and there are many other wonderful amenities. I joined primarily due to the one person per lane rule, so it's not a struggle for space and you don't feel like you are in someone else's way while trying to swim. And the Turkish spa is a relaxing area to spend some time afterward. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. Some other reviewers are pushing for updates to the space, but the charm really is in the history of the establishment. They've been progressively making appropriate updates, more recently to changing rooms and shower areas - but while some things may seem old fashioned, I think it only adds to the experience.”

“Our first time staying at this apartment but have previously stayed at their other apartments a few in Glasgow and as they were this one did not disappoint. Great location everything a couple minutes walk out the door. Many lovely restaurants of all choices to choose from. The apartment itself was lovely, spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Gorgeous bathroom and a lovely big shower. The bed was soo comfy and a nice big size. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in the city for a couple days.”

“We have just returned from a fantastic 5 day holiday at Loch Achray. Like a previous reviewer stated we have travelled with Lochs and Glens several times and at different hotels and have always enjoyed our stays. Everyone at Achray was great, they cannot do enough for you. Our main driver Alan (Woods) I think was brilliant his knowledge of the areas we travelled to was amazing. His jokes and 'true' stories amused us all he really is a great guy. Thank you Lochs and Glens we are looking forward to planning our next trip with you in the near future.”

“Another one on the list that I've wanted to visit for a long time having heard only good things about the place. One word needed to describe the place - exceptional. Staff are super friendly, tasteful decoration complimented with a soundtrack to suit. Food was delicious, so much choice and plenty of vegetarian options available. All dishes were well presented. Attention to detail, from staff that evidently have passion for what they serve. Cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back soon.”

“This bed and breakfast exceeded our expectations! Rooms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. The setting is also gorgeous and very relaxing, far from all the city noises and surrounded by sheeps and cows. As for the breakfast, we had everything we needed and there was a decent selection of yogourts, cereals and heated foods. Lastly, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would highly recommend staying here!”

“Owned and run by the scout association this is great at what it is. Accommodation is basic but adequate with a well equipped kitchen of a good size and loads of space outside. The current warden is amazing and has a fantastic team helping him so standards have been improving year on year and they go out of their way to help you. Hobbit huts are popular and the assault course looks great. Couple notes, the driveway has more holes than a sieve and if you are a big group it could be worth bring a few extra pots and pans.”

“Excellent whiskey shop near (in?) the West End of Glasgow. Excellent selection, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, friendly staff. I was in town for one night and couldn't make it here before closing; Gabriel offered to stay 20-30min past closing time just so I could come pick up a bottle. So kind!! Located right next to an underground metro station as well. Pick up some whiskey, then take a metro to check out Ashton Lane and have a pint at Tennents.”

“We had a great stay here for two nights. Room was exceptional, food, equally. We ate here twice, one dinner and one breakfast…both were excellent. The service from all staff was superb and a happy hour in the lobby (complimentary each day) was a great touch. We found it centrally located and would return again when in Glasgow.”

The location couldn’t be better — just steps from the train station, close to the subway, and surrounded by pubs, shops, and everything you need right outside the door. Perfect for anyone who wants to make the most of their time in Glasgow. The rooms were spotless and cleverly designed to feel spacious, even though it’s a budget-friendly hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Special shoutout to the in-room hairdryer — as someone who depends on a good one, I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was! “My wife and I took my mother for a meal at Dalziel Park Hotel. The venue looks great, it was dark, but inside is very nice and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was brilliant. The only complaint was my wife and mother were given a fork to eat a sundae!! Desert spoons please Dalziel Park! That aside, well worth a visit.”

“Was there yesterday for a puncture. Couldn't get anywhere nearer to home but Paul said he would fit me in and he did. Tyre was changed and I was sorted within the hour. Professional and courteous service. Highly recommend. Also as a female I felt very comfortable with the two chaps I dealt with.”

“Glenfern guest house exedeed our expectations. The cottage was simply comfortable and amazing. It is very close to the train station and to lots of bars and activities center. We decided to spend one night in this beautiful place to celebrate our fist anniversary. We could not have chosen better accommodation. The guy who welcomed us was very friendly and he helped us out with a all our requests. All very cleaned and new. We would definetely recommend and come back in the future. Elisabeth and Giovanni”

“Fabulous, friendly bed and breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is superb with cereals, full cooked Scottish breakfast, toast, jams, marmalade etc. or simple boiled or poached eggs. Rooms are clean, beautifully presented with tea and coffee facilities, TV, etc. We enjoyed 3 nights here and will be back again. Thank you, Sandy and Cathy for making us so welcome.”
