“Thomas at the Polo Lounge was extremely helpful to me. I had left my bag in the venue after a night out and Thomas helped me to courier it back to my address in Manchester. Can't thank him enough. The lounge singer was great and there is a bouncing dance area downstairs. Would recommend!”

“I’ve had a wonderful experience staying at Safestay Charing Cross, Glasgow. I’ve been here for over 15 days now, and it has truly felt like a home away from home. The staff members are extremely supportive, friendly, and have a very welcoming, chill vibe. “The staff at this hotel were so kind upon check-in! The room was also cleaner than the hotel I stayed at in Edinburgh. For a basic hotel before your flight this was a great choice for me, no frills but cleanliness and friendliness. The dinner and breakfast menu also had expansive options, including vegan, and looked delightful. I did not eat it though!”

“Rooms: I stayed in two separate 4-bed dorms and they were clean, well provisioned, towels and shower gel included. No lockers in either room (apparently they're being changed out for new ones across the building), but staff were very helpful storing my bag in a dedicated luggage storage room downstairs. The hostel was full in terms of bookings but you wouldn't know it - it wasn't heaving or loud, very peaceful actually. Service: quick, friendly, efficient, with a smile - can't ask for more in a busy hostel! Location: very central, right by St Enoch subway and a short walk from either of the main stations. Not a 5* hotel, but as hostels go, a wonderful experience and one I'll happily stay in again.”

“Had the best time getting my nails done today with the lovely Nina! I get really anxious going to new places, but she was so patient, kind, and just the sweetest. She did an amazing job on my nails—I’m obsessed! I’ve been looking for a new salon for a while, and I think I’ve finally found the one. Can’t wait to come back and see Nina again! The salon itself is gorgeous and super relaxing, and I was lucky that it was nice and quiet too. I would 100% recommend over and over again! All of the girls were lovely too.”

“Over the last decade, we have spent nights in different places, ranging from five-start hotels to farm nobody. The Gowanlea Guest House was definitely one of the best. Best one-word descriptor would be "charming." Beautiful house and accommodations, comfortable, great location, good food and a wonderful, friendly hostess. I wish we could have stayed longer.”

“Wow what can I say, I have always been afraid of water and always been a non swimmer, this year I turned 40 and decided this would be my challenge, I’m so glad to have met Sandra. She is the perfect teacher, she has a wealth of knowledge and puts you completely at ease and I feel very safe and comfortable with her, she has given me so much confidence and i am starting to love my swimming journey and it’s all thanks to Sandra. I could not recommend her highly enough. She’s just amazing.”

“Lovely, cosy bar with a restaurant at the back. Good selection of local Glasgow beers. They do cocktails and fantastic food! The arancini balls were delicious and the chips are amazing. My husband said his beef stew was beautifully cooked and fell apart so easily. Really nice atmosphere, very casual, but lovely friendly service. Just off the main road, this is a great little pub!”

“This hotel ranks up there as one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. I love the atmosphere here! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and so helpful. It’s in a great location; just a hop, skip, and a jump from the main train station, and near to many sites. The room is super comfortable. It is located on the sixth floor of a building that has secured access and also an elevator. The rooms are lovely. Mine was a single and generously sized, with a desk, a large shower, TV, and plenty of storage, along with the ability to make tea and coffee in the room. And the hotel itself has a wonderful selection in the lobby of homemade cupcakes, both vegan, and regular, along with a section of homemade ice cream, also with vegan options. All of them are free for guests. There is a lounge with books, coffee, and tea, makings and wine that is available for purchase by the glass or bottle at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is free if you book directly with the hotel and it is delicious. I would definitely stay here again. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, especially for the price.”
